Ikea Sniglar Bed Frame

Bed slats not included in bed purchase – We purchased a Sniglar bed for a child, 70 x 160cm. We started assembling the bed to find there were no slats. Back to Springvale to collect the missing slats, to be told that no beds come with slats and we would have to purchase them! are sold separately. What it does not say is that slats are sold separately. - "What's Included" specifically states that there are two components and we made sure we collected the two packages from the warehouse shelves.

IKEA website should make it plain that not only must you purchase mattress and bedlinen separately, but also the slats. As we live outside of Melbourne, this would have saved us the return three hour journey back to Springvale.
