WORST product ever, we bought a house with all appliances from ILVE, the gas stove does not perform to its best sometimes work sometimes doest. over glass shattered while making pizza, microwave does not even warm up food after 2 min as well AND what to tell you about dishwasher, WORST WORST WORST dishwasher i have ever seen, dish’s doesn’t get clean at all, even after clean cycle the machine stinks. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY OF ILVE PEODUCTS

We had to replace our 80cm Ilve oven which was great with the new model ( 7 months ago)The new model is terrible!!! We had to get the Ilve technician out 3 times. The oven kept fogging up and creating condensation from steam which would then drip down the outside of the oven from the kitchen bench top above. Now it has been “fixed” so the fan runs constantly while in use. I can feel it blowing from 2m away! Don’t choose this oven. Show details

No one wants to know about this – Moved into new house and our oven makes a terrible loud noise when cooling down after turning it off like a plane landing, had electrician out 4 times to no avail says badly designed (did this under warranty) but now no response from eurolinx at all not feeling good about this one was told in beginning it was a working oven when put in , amazes me as they wouldn’t waited until oven got hot! Show details

Serious gas leak warning – Purchased an ilvi wall oven in June 2019 which came with 2 year warranty. Not long out of warranty we started noticing a gas smell which progressively got worse. Tried to get the original gas installer to inspect the oven prior to us going on a holiday travelling around Australia, but they were heavily booked. Isolated the gas and upon our return… Read more

arranged an inspection. They discovered the gas pipe is claimed to the thermostat controller with an inverted U bracket and two screws. Both of which had come loose with one falling out completely allowing seperation and gas to escape. Due to the serious nature, the gas fitter contacted ilve to advise what he believed to be a design fault as these screws did not come loose overnight and would have failed during the warranty period. He was advised to email a report to customercare@eurolinx.com.au which he did. Numerous calls and emails have only resulted in "I will discuss with my supervisor and get straight back to you!". We are still waiting and after reading other reviews, think we are not alone. The screws have been tightened, but we have no confidence that they won't come loose again. Requesting ilve review this design fault, which should be recalled, but it seems it's falling on deaf ears. If you have an ilvi wall oven and smell gas, I would not hesitate to get it checked. Worse, unprofessional customer service I have ever experienced, especially with such a serious issue.

The actual worst products I’ve ever come across in over 25+ years of dealing with appliances. Up until 4 years ago I’ve used the likes of Miele, Westinghouse, smeg, breville etc and never had an issue and if so it was once for an appliance 10 years old. ilve 9 times between the 4 items and they still are utterly useless. The induction cook top is beyond temperamental and inconsistent with its sizing parameters for the induction to engage and turn on. The dishwasher doesn’t work properly and the internal drawers only open and close when certain things are folded open/down and after a couple uses and whilst keeping it maintained with drainage rinses and cleaning it still dirties the dishes more after a cycle than they were to begin with (especially glasswear), the oven and microwave/oven have horrible seals that get damaged, break or peel far too easily and the power requirement busts the internal lights which then to replace it you have to pull the whole thing apart. After being ready to dump each product in front of an ilve warehouse in frustration I spoke to a known contractor to ilve off the record who I knew from Miele repairs and he confirmed that ilve has the highest list of repairs and failures than any other known/popular/even unknown brands he services and said he would never recommend anyone to ilve or use them in his own home. Size customisation is literally the ONLY thing that ilve can do that’s worth a d#mn. The rest, I wish we’d never purchased it or left the other brands because now we’re stuck with these horrible products that cost too much to replace and since every time they break down it’s within warranty and then the next items warranty starts again they keep having to come out for free to rectify/replace. Horrible brand, don’t buy it.

really helpful maybe worst customer service no empathy nothing of course we bought their product no need to help or recognize issues

Average is 400$ per year to fix the oven me thinking can’t be right when they have such a price tag

Update again the technician came and it is the switch selector so 3rd one in less than 5 years I do not think it is right the last replacement did not last a year so the part is about 90$ times 3 and it is 320$ every time to repair I am up to over 1000$ that is a very high maintenance stove do not buy Ilve Plus still waiting for someone to contact me still nothing following your recent post it is brittle plastic

UPDATE: To ILVE's credit, they have arranged for our oven to be repaired. It was completed and the oven fan seems to be back to normal. and decided on ILVE appliances - hoping they would last. We moved in about 30 months ago and now our cooling fan (the one that stays on for a long time after cooking) is making a screeching noise as the oven is cooling down. For a long time. Of course, the manufacturer's warranty on these ovens is only 24 months. Feeling pretty let down to be honest.

just got flogged off with …"you can’t do anything as that model doesn’t provide to remove the glass” So, to say we are chuffed to now get such a great response from the Showroom manager is an under statement. Apparently ILVE must have viewed the reviews over the past few years and have made a number of changes to their "customer service area" in an effort to reinforce their position as a leader in their industry so we (the customer) are happy not only with the product but with the back up service. Problem addressed and resolved – First service call in July, was not a success -rollers should have been fitted to correct the problem, On 6/10 another service call, resolved the problem and now the oven door opens and closes as if new. Thank you very much for partial refund of initial service fee.

Do not touch ILVE. Bought a new built apartment and every single kitchen appliance has failed within 5 years - oven, dishwasher and extractor. Very, very poor. And ILVE - please don't tell me to contact you. You only want money to fix it - you have no honour in standing up for your product.

bother to communicate or seem to know what they’re doing. The customer service (or lack of) has been terrible to say the least; no one from ILVE bothers to respond to emails or provide proactive updates. Not impressed at all and we’ll never purchase an ILVE product again.

Such a problem oven. Oven kept burning my food. Contacted Ilve many times and I was given lots of reassurances that the problem would be resolved....but nothing!!!! Ended up going back to the supplier to take over. Long story short, it was supposedly fixed, but it isnt! I've been without a fully functioning oven for over 3 months now. So, I would NOT recommend Ilve.

speak to the public; was told to email which I did. They don't reply to emails either. I'd like to rate their service but haven't had any yet so it's a bit hard to judge. So don't spend over $7500 for an Ilve choose a Chef at $700 and cook to your heart's content. Sent this review to Ilve who asked for my phone number. A week has passed and not a sound from them. Hopeless. Oven repaired by private service company $300. Thanks Ilve for nothing.

Update - after my review I got a call from ilvie ([Name Removed]) promising me that he personally will look into it and get back to me within 24 hours, more than a week later I have yet to hear from him. Again anyone wanting an Ilvie product, DO NOT DO IT! Worst customer service I’ve ever had. Completely over this company.

for the touch panels to be replaced, even though this is clearly a quality issue and design fault. The ovens are absolute rubbish and frequently display random error messages whilst in normal operation. Poor quality product and even worse customer service.

For the first two years or so, one of the 6 gas stovetop burners simply would not light at all. Ever. We just never used this one. The other burners often do not light, at times you can wait minutes to get a single burner working and have to try many before one lights. This is NOT about cleaning or blockage, we are cleaning these things endlessly.… Read more

It has been like this for many years now, drives us nuts. The lighters are just consistently useless.

The largest burner, for all the years that we've owned this stove, eventually lights, but about 50% of the time it will then silently cut out after some random time, within a few minutes. Whatever you were cooking just stops doing so without you knowing.

You also cannot put a normal large pan on the back 3 burners of the stovetop, because they are all too close to the back wall of the stovetop, which rises up. The burners on a 28cm pan then do not sit centred on the pan. Silly design.

The oven itself has controls labelled with symbols, which do not match the supplied manual. The symbols are tiny, and quite similar to each other. We have never really known if we are using the right settings. E.g. which is fan forced, conventional oven, one element or two etc.

The temperature setting on the oven is a dial without any real granularity, except for 25 degrees markers. Knowing the exact temperature is difficult.

The controls are all over the place on the front of this unit, with oven dials mixed in amongst the stovetop dials for no sensible reason. The layout does not match the positioning at all.

This is not a device designed for ease of use by humans.

Luckily we negotiated to only pay half of the full price as a deposit because we did not feel comfortable to pay the full price upfront, as we were requested, and wait… Read more

5 months for the product. When the cooker arrived we were very disappointed to find out about many serious issues with what we expected a high quality product. The configuration of the burners did not fit the teppanyaki plate, there were dented and scratched panels, uneven gaps between doors, razor sharp edges on working surfaces etc). After a long and stressful negotiations the unit was taken back and the new one was promised to be delivered. We waited another 5 months to receive a phone call from IlVE rep to advise that the unit has arrived from Italy but it has some incorrect parts and new ones will need to be shipped from Italy but when they arrived there were still some parts missing. By that time it was already 12 months since our initial order and we still were not given any exact delivery time so we decided to cancel the order. The whole experience of purchasing as we thought the top quality product was very unpleasant and unsatisfying . The communication with the ILVE rep was difficult, the person very unprofessional and unreliable. It required on our part a lot of time to follow up with phone calls and emails. At the end we were relieved, after 10 days of cancellation our order, to receive our deposit back. We will definitely not be buying any ILVE products in future.

Extremely poor quality of ILVE products and service – We got ILVE stainless steel dishwasher (Model IVFSD61/1) as part of our new house built by Wisdoms Homes in Aug 2023. The quality of the dishwasher is horrible. The racks of the dish washer are rusted in less than a year. I have never seen such a bad quality of product. seen racks rusting even after 10 years of service. Not sure if these racks can be changed. It is a very unhygienic and bad look; especially when guest come.

Our ILVE microwave (Model IV602BIM) also stopped working in less than a year. It took almost 4 months and 6 technician visits before ILVE finally replace the microwave. In the process we were without microwave for 4 months. Awful product quality and very unprofessional service.

I am giving ILVE one star because I cannot submit this review with ZERO star. I strongly suggest that customers stay away from ILVE. Wisdom Homes should consider leaving ILVE or else ILVE's bad quality will impact their brand too. --------- It has been close to 3 months since my complaint and no replacement of the dishwasher baskets yet. Neither ILVE nor Eurolinx contacted me about the delivery date in this period. I will now take my case to NSW Fair Trading.

door seals due to leaking excessive amounts of moisture onto the floor, multiple burners and igniters and one call out that wasn't a fault when I questioned why it takes so long for the 2 small cookers to igniter but there wasn't a problem its normal because the gas has further to travel This product had extended warranty (which I would highly recommend on any ilve product) this ran out early 2023 and i have now pursued to out of warranty claims one of which they supplied part only and the next they declined altogether. I don't usually do reviews but after i was laughed at the last time I spoke to the person at Eurolink I felt people needed to be made aware of generally bad quality products bad customer attitude As I went to write this and saw previous reviews left by other clearly very unhappy customer i was astounded at how when you mention ilve to people most of the time the response is positive. This would make me question who is writing the good reviews as I couldn't find a good one Consumer affairs told me i probably had a case due to the issues being the sane and continuing on. I decided not to do this as it wasn't worth spending the money to chase rubbish and I was scared they might have to replace it as I didn't want another piece of crap I hope this saves some people from making the same mistake we did

Worst Quality with Customer Service to match – We have 5 Ilve appliances that were part of our new build, the quality is absolutely shocking. The dishwasher is a 0/10 the ovens 3/10, microwave 2/10 and wine fridge is good no issues. To make things worse the customer service is abysmal, nonexistent, terrible, the worst!! After 10 emails and multiple calls of getting cut off spending hours waiting I still have not had the courtesy of any response.

Terrible Quality – Bought an ilve oven One of their best. Door doesn’t close properly and the touch on and off area is so bad that it takes ages to get the right touch to turn it on and off. First they said they will fix it under warranty and the said they won’t fix it under warranty it’s normal. Then when I complained and made my point they said yes it’s not good but you’ll have to pay to have it fix d. I’ve only had it for a month it’s vost was well over $5500

Ilve oven thermostat overheating (bad plastic smell) - 2nd time in a row! – Our first Ilve oven was installed as a part of a new house build, we picked the oven as it was a decent price and came recommended. After 18 months a terrible acrid plastic smell and smoke fumes emanated from near the thermostat knob. and same thing occurred a few months later. Same electrician came out and did some more checks, the internal wiring was a mess and the person on the other end of the line he was talking to said to just replace the entire oven (yep, just replace it). Replacement came, electrician installed it, and two years later, EXACTLY the same thing. I'm putting this down to a design issue. Oh the door hinge also broke off the first unit too, another design "flaw". Overall pretty crap quality, definitely wouldn't buy again. Customer service 3-stars because they did respond, and did organise a replacement (albeit the replacement was just as bad).

It failed in the same within 2 years and ILVE fialed to offer any support or remedy. indicating that the warranty is limitted to 2 years, irrespective of their obligations in Australia under the ACL. These products have consistently failed with very limited use and I would never recommend them to anyone.

F***ing Crap – New house came with ILVE appliances 3 years ago. Dishwasher is disintegrating, the oven has stopped working tripping the circuit breaker, the range hood buttons now don’t seem to respond as well and the microwave has almost destroyed itself at one point by overheating. DO NOT BUY. You will get better quality appliances from even ALDI. No joke. We bought an ALDI dishwasher for our rental 6 years ago and it’s still going strong. Ridiculous!

Do not buy! – Bought a unit with ILVE appliances. Nothing but trouble. Integrated Fridge Freezer ILREF316L- it's not Forst Free so need to be manually defrosted. Ice builds up in the freezer and you cant open the drawers after a short period of time. The fridge does not cool enough. You can almost stand a knife up in the butter. Dishwasher - IVDF1400, didnt worked when we moved in, logic board replaced. Steam comes out the right hand side and now the cabinets, dishwasher door and sink door need to be replaced as they are water damaged.

Ilve - Rangehood. Works really well however the lights are very poor so we will need to put in additional 12 volt lighting, yes it's that bad.
