Don’t buy – Seriously don’t waste your money. The rear splash guard burnt after the very first time of using. What’s the point of paying thousands of dollars and it’s terrible after the forts time. Over trays don’t slide in and out properly. Oven door slams shut. Thermostat never correct. See attached photos of damage after the first use Show details
Bad customer service – Bought my freestanding 90cm Ilve a few years ago; generally happy with it. I was cleaning the tempered glass on teh oven door, which included removing the glass to clean the inside. One of the screws that holds the glass in place broke off. expense of the oven, I would have thought a single screw is something that you get as a 'good will' gesture. Poor service indeed!
Ilve customer service – Bought Ilve freestanding oven when we had our home built. We had an Ilve oven before and were very happy with it. The oven itself works extremely well. instruction booklet I obtained with the oven it did NOT state that you could not put a large pot on the backburner of the stove. I have been in touch with both Ilve and the builder and neither take any responsibility with this. I think it is a product fault and all I want is the splashback to be replaced but NOTHING. I an extremely disappointed with the lack of service from Ilve. This replacement wold cost them nothing but it would help with their credibility.
