Given this machine was under $600, it makes no sense to buy the other brands, given they are usually several hundred $ anyway and are all plastic, have smaller filters and will probably barely last past their warranty. The InovaAir machines look like they are designed to last for decades, not months.

Very happy with the E7, although admittedly it is early days and we haven't had a chance to see how it filters yet as air is extremely clean at the moment (we bought it mainly for the inevitable bushfire smoke in the future).

This is a great product – Fantastic service, speedy delivery, is so quiet I couldn't hear it running. It is wonderful. So nice to have fresh clean air. Suits my small unit. Couldn't live without it. Show details

Terrific purchase and ordering experiance – The unit arrived in Melbourne less than 24 hours after the order was placed, it was easy to assemble and a great solid build. After three weeks use the amount of airborn and settled dust in our house was greatly reduced. I was also surprised how quiet the unit was even at the highest fan speed. Perfect for bedrooms and makes a huge difference! – I spent a very long time searching for an air purifier that wasn't just something that would do nothing. Yes, apparently the Dyson fans are good, but they only have a HEPA filter and I'm not sure what grade it is and others use water to 'purify' the air. The E7 though. It's the real thing. etc. get stuck on that first, then it goes through a large, HOSPITAL grade HEPA filter to remove the smallest particulars including pollen, bacteria, viruses etc. and finally, it goes through an activated carbon filter to remove any odours, chemicals any more and you get the cleanest smelling air ever.

I tested it in my office at work recently as it's incredibly dusty in their and the building is from the 60's so it smells very old and stale. Within a couple of days, the smell had gone and there was next to no dust. Although, I did need to replace the brand new pre-filter after 3 weeks as it was clogged with dust and more but that just shows how powerful this unit actually is.

Can't survive without it – Quiet. Efficient. Sturdy. Takes up little space. Really cleans the air of particles. Needs little attention, just an occasional wipe over, and filters seem to last forever. Best customer service from InovaAir who are polite, efficient, and extremely helpful. With an extended warranty I feel the E7 will be with me for a very long time to come.  Show details

Best purchase ever – Having used this in my bedroom for 8 months its amazing how better I am sleeping. I am able to breathe properly during the night and no longer wake up sneezing. The room seems 'refreshed' - hard to explain. When the filter was changed recently its was full of dust. My daughter bought one for her house too and is as impressed as I am. It's not too noisy. Enables me to sleep much better. Nothing.
