dramatically In the paper work you sign off on before landscaping starts it does say some pavers may be lifted and it’s your responsibility to fix them I had to remove at least 30 and re haunch both sides including removing al the mulch and redoing it If I didn’t re haunch the drive way edges would of collapsed

When I emailed with pics I got the response that it was my responsibility Even after I explained I had emailed and even marked the pvc So I fixed it I fixed all the mulch thrown against my light grey rendor leaving black marks everywhere I think more mulch was thrown over everything but where it needed to go I fixed a fair bit of the garden edging that was either to low or to high and mulch just falling onto the grass And now I’ve fixed 1 pop up sprinkler that’s only been down for 2 weeks And has been playing up since day 1 So they probably knew it was stuffed So although the landscaping is included when you buy the block You get what you don’t pay for I guess And there’s no real excuses for poor workmanship and a bit of pride Just because of the turn over of work you have Definitely would not recommend for anything paying work

2. The in-ground controller box was installed so that it has to be thrown loose onto the wet soil, as mounting it properly on top of the valves prevents the box from being closed.

3. Turf was laid poorly - on the one hand, there were wide gaps between the strips (over 1cm); on the other - some smaller areas were filled with narrow cut strips - those will have a hard time establishing.

Unprofessional and irresponsible – My reticulation was leaking in it's second month and without even viewing it they assumed cause of failure and refused to take responsibility. Would definitely not recommend these people for any work .

Poor Workmanship – Terrible at laying synthetic turf… extremely poor attention to detail, couldn’t cut a straight line if there company depended on it… would not recommend this company to do anything with your yard.

excellen instant gardens – My Daughter had instant gardens to landscape her back garden , they have done a wonderful Job. The landscapers were really nice guys very polite and very helpful , they worked hard , and the back yard looks beautiful . I would highly recommenced this company . Julie Robson

Warning poor quality service – I recently had these cowboys out to fix my sprinklers the quote was $360 to fix 11 but they only needed to do four and still tried to charge the full amount saying the job took 4 hours to change 4 sprinklers so we eventually agreed a price as they were caught out on their own lies after all that a week later the sprinklers don't work iv sent an… Read more

Cheap, poor quality workmanship and materials, poor after sales service – After having Instant Gardens design and install my front garden, it becomes apparent after several months why you should NOT choose this company. The pre sale service is excellent, however the actual products and workmanship will result in a very poor looking garden after a while. to use blame and avoid tactics to avoid any follow up service. Here are some reasons why they did such a poor job on our yard.

1. Lawn - they do not remove any soil but just level it and dump the new lawn straight on top with a bit of fertiliser underneath (for poor and sandy soils, your lawn will die off after a few months) and any small stones they just leave in the ground which further harms the lawn. They upsold me better grass at a premium price but because it was not prepared properly it just dies off (regardless of how much water, fertiliser and aeration I used).

2. Reticulation - they use poor quality materials that fall apart after a few months, and the main reticulation pipes they do not bury deep enough so if it rains they will end up just lying on top of your garden ready to break or pull apart if anyone steps on them.

3 Pavers - Poor quality pavers used (I upgraded these ones at a price of 15 or 20 dollars extra per stone! And they just break when you walk on them under an average person (they will not replace any defective ones)

4. Stone gardens - they do not bother to lay a few dollars worth of matting under the stones because they don't think it's worth it (as they told me over the phone), and they lay the bare minimum of stone to save money so your stones sink down under the sand and your original builders sand just floats up over them after a while. You are much better off doing this yourself.

5. After sales service - once they have your money, they pretend they are dealing with any problems, but actually never get back to you. If you call them, they use blame and avoid strategies and are adamant that their contractors are perfect and it's all the customers fault by poor maintenance.

The truth is - a poor quality garden requires more maintenance and breaks apart easily. My yard has very little traffic, nobody walks on the grass and yet it still manages to fall apart even though I maintain it. I fertilise, aerate the lawn, do the weeding and find it a fight against poor quality materials and workmanship.

Do not be fooled into going with this company - they are poor and there are much more professional choices out there. This company survives on the "free" landscaping packages it gets awarded from developers and unfortunately it's the package that costs them the least that is the worst for the customer who gets ripped off as one would expect by a company who can't guarantee their own work.
