Terrible renting experience with Integrity – I do not even want to give them one star. We rented a house through Integrity in North Nowra for 6 years. The house was not clean when we moved in and had onging plumbing, leaking and mould issues. I reported these issues and others to the real estate but very little was done. We vacated recently and spent a week cleaning the property thoroughly, we made sure the property was in better condition than when we arrived. The real estate then sent us a list over a page long of things that we were told we needed to clean and fix. They tried to make us fix plaster that was damaged before we moved in, clean the mould that we had reported to them, clean rust marks off old venetian blinds that were marked and damaged before we moved in, the list goes on. I would warn anyone renting through Integrity to report all issues with the property, take your own photos, record all communication with them, make note of anything that is damaged as soon as you notice it. Beware, Integrity is a misnomer, as they are anything but!

Property Manager – Wouldn’t even give them 1 star - only that you have to for review Be very careful renting a property through this company. Make sure you thoroughly go through the property & take photos of everything. Document everything on the report, as they blame you on vacating the property. Keep all correspondence of repair / maintenance issues raised. Numerous complaints from contract workers regarding this company, neighbour had also mentioned about the company & issues with the land lord not fixing things around the property & increasing rent. Property wasn’t cleaned or repaired before moving in, items left inside & outside / around the property, towel rail held up by sticks - they never found on their “inspection” or reported, I only came across items stashed on the floor underneath the vanity when I was cleaning. Fake grass I only found when I mowed the lawn as it wasn’t done before moving into the property. ? Previous tenant had a dog. Window runner weren’t cleaned as when I cleaned them clumps of hair / dog hair dirt etc came out of them. Top & below cupboards were sticky / greasy & had bugs stuck in it. THE LIST GOES ON but they expect everything immaculate on vacating. Property manager on inspection questioned my child “where’s your mum” - property manager knew I was at work & that my child would be present at inspection, property manager then went on to report a “young child left at home by themself”, mind you that “young child is 16 years old”. Done inspection 6 weeks earlier, tried gaining access to the house x3 times over different days but due to maintenance issue that needed fixing, then came again when my “young child” was home & questioned my child as above comment, then went on to book another inspection in December, the property manager sent roughly 4 or more emails regarding extending the lease for a year as well as a rent increase again, I gave notice to vacate, property manager then went on to book a “pre inspection” couple days after giving notice to vacate, along with a final inspection, she then wanted to show “prospective tenant through the property”. Petty & pathetic - outgoing report = Laundry - door lower hinge - long hair, Blind slays have few dirty spots

Document & take photos of everything as they try blame you when vacating - take further & report to - Residential tenancy complaints Fair Trading, NCAT / Civil and Administrative Tribunal, Tenants Advice and Advocacy Service (TAAS), etc

Arrogant Agent – An agent with the initials B.R. at Integrity Real Estate at Nowra sent a spiteful message to me when I couldn't go ahead with the purchase of a property. When I told him I was going to leave a review about it, he claimed that he had done it out of 'courtesy'. Mind you, I had told him ten weeks ago that I couldn't go ahead due to circumstances outside my control. I hadn't even spoken to him since then so why he even needed to contact me I can only assume was to have a dig at me for what he thinks was 'wasting his time'. What a loser! I have kept the texts to show anyone who wants to see them.

They don't have much integrity... they are not what or who they try to present themselves to be.

Be aware – This real estate agency charges a $495 fee to sellers listed with them, to withdraw from them after your agreement period. Sellers may only find this out afterwards. This was deliberately not explained clearly into tricking me to sign with them. With my experience with them, unusual after hours inspection times was forced on me, even when I explained it is not suitable. Then threats were made of not bringing anymore buyers if the unsuitable inspection time was not met. Continuous negative feedback from the agency after inspections. Low ball offers outside the price range was presented. One accepted offer inside the price range dragged out over a month with 4 inspections, but ended in no sale. Yet with continuous promises that it is a definite sale. Why sign with an agent that charges a withdrawal fee, when others do not.
