Intergrain Ultradeck Spotted Gum - A spotty deck stain – About 20 months ago, I applied into grain ultra-deck spotted gum oil to around 210 m² of deck. see the photos for the results. I regret not researching this product further as the same problem as reported time and time again by other users. I have contacted customer support twice about this issue, the most recent call was yesterday. The customer service representative named [Name Removed], suggested I try the product Total8 to remove the remaining patchy stain.
Now this is the interesting part.
I asked [Name Removed] for a money back guarantee if the product does not work. The answer was “no”. In other words, Intergrain does NOT back their own product.
The customer service officer did say that sanding back the deck would work.
Note~ I provided dates and names in this review and I encourage Intergrain to check the telephone transcript.
After another called the help centre same outcome – no product guarantee just another sales pitch.

I’ve just got off the phone to your helpline with exactly the same outcome - no money back guarantee if your product doesn’t work. In fact every time I called the helpline it’s been nothing but sales pitches .
I decided to call the hardware store and they provided me with samples of Cutek. Cutek support have a can-do attitude and a collaborative approach. I will update people to let them know how well the product works.

As a suggestion to rectify, we recommended sanding back the coating or using Intergrain Liquid8 to remove as an alternative. Since the outcome of this product can vary depending on the application, environment and nature of the coating, we do not provide a money-back guarantee, although we will, of course, investigate any suspected product faults.
