Easy to book! Guys turned up the next arvo replaced our old clunky rain water pump. Did a great job. Left the site tidy. Pump works like a dream with zero noise! weekend was ruined, my life's purpose was in question, and I was staring into the cold, bleak abyss of a winter without hot showers.

I am not a brave man. I tried a cold shower exactly once. I stuck one arm under the water and my soul immediately tried to leave my body. I gasped for air like I was floating on a piece of rubble after the Titanic went down. After that traumatic experience, I decided personal hygiene was overrated and resigned myself to smelling like old socks.

In a desperate, smelly haze, I found JR Gas & Hot Water online. My tradie-traumatised eyes couldn't believe what I was seeing: prices listed right there on the website. No "Call us for a dodgy quote" nonsense, just pure, beautiful transparency. Frankly, I was skeptical, but the thought of another cold shower (or another complaint from my wife) spurred me to take the plunge.

The very next day, two knights in shining armour, Charlie and Joshua, arrived lugging the giant iStore 270L barrel that was destined to save my bacon. They were respectful, patient, and didn't even laugh at my ignorant questions like, "Can't we just put it on the other side of the house, 50m away from the pipes?". They calmly explained the costs and downsides, saving me from myself. When they encountered the old gas heater cover in the wall, instead of leaving an ugly hole, Charlie had the genius idea to drill holes through it to run the pipes, making it look neat and tidy. It worked a treat!

Just when I thought it couldn't get better, the electrician Mark and his apprentice Mike turned up. They were absolute professionals, neatly cabling around my crooked, ghetto-installed awning without a single complaint and leaving my switchboard perfectly labelled.

I witnessed a miracle that day. Four tradesmen in a row who were punctual, professional, friendly, and did an immaculate job. JR Gas and Hot Water has cracked the code: they sell great systems at fair, transparent prices, and they've somehow managed to collect a team of tradies who are rarer than hen's teeth. If you're on the fence, just jump. You won't regret it. Highly, highly recommended!

well, Jarrod from JR Gas and Water phoned me in a very short time and answered my question and felt very reassured, so after the call I got straight online and booked and paid for the Dux 315lt hot water system, a valve kit to suit and installation. Shortly thereafter I got a receipt email, and one from JR to set an install appointment time the next day. The next morning at 8am the delivery guy came with the hot water system and valve kit, JR came at around midday at the appointed time phoning me in advance to tell me they were on their way. Joshua [J C] and Charlie [C S] were friendly and professional and although being young men, the job they did was outstanding, I could not be happier with the workmanship and the outstanding service and communication I got from beginning to end. Additionally I save hundreds of dollars for the H/W System, valve kit and installation. Yes, I shopped around, after getting the best online price for the Dux 315 lt. System, I phoned the store that advertises they will beat it by 10%, after hours of being on "hold" and talking to untrained staff, I finally got someone who could do the deal, the best they could do was MATCH the price of just buying the Hot Water System and not include delivery, what a frustrating waste of time that was. I know good quality and service when I see it, until I retired I spent years as a professional handyman working in the Brisbane CBD.

of organising a quote was quick and easy, even with extra steps that required a site visit. Mostly done online, including approval of a good price for the unit and installation. JR coordinated all tradies, included the electrician, to get the job done promptly including a tidy up at the end. This was critical for me, with a body corporate to critique the end appearance. As a result, we had hot water flowing by end of the day; the hot water cylinder and other rubbish gone; and I expect much lower gas bills. Thank you, JR Gas & Water.
