Would rate them a 0 if I could. JAGUAR LAND ROVER AUSTRALIA I am absolutely disgusted in the lack of customer care or accountability for jaguar f-pace 2.0L Diesel engines just blowing up at 60,000kms 2018 model, regularly serviced, its a "high end" vehicle and it is unreliable, I had my 2 year old daughter in the car when this happened. I have had… Read more

2 reports done by jaguar specialists here in WA which both came back to catastrophic engine failure and your CRCAU are coming back with "second owner of vehicle" "inadequate service" when it has full service history, and second owner means NOTHING. There is a Facebook page called Jaguar Land Rover DPF & Engine failure group with over 19,500 members on board, I reached out to another fellow Australian that has been impacted with a car that has done 150,000kms 2017 model and is the THIRD owner of vehicle and still got 100% compensation. I have been rejected TWICE. what am I supposed to do with my loan and a "high end" vehicle that has blown up and absolutely useless to me? under the ACCC if a car is not fit for purpose I am entitled to a refund, replacement or fixed.

Buckby Landrover Service Centre Jack Bennett lies in your face – Jack Bennett told me that my transmission was fine but the transmission fluid was completely black! And he didn’t check the fluid for me until I demanded it to be checked after he had apparently already diagnosed the transmission as fine. He refused to show me the complete diagnostic report too only printed out a screenshot of an unclear… Read more

diagnostic test with the wrong date on it. Very unhelpful. Lied in my face more than once. Told me transmission fluid is for life, so no need to change it. Then told me it did need changing, but only at 180,000km which is stated in the Land Rover service guidelines. This is way too late to be changing the transmission fluid. It should be every 50,000kms. No wonder these vehicles are failing early. The mechanics do not have your best interests at heart. Read all the other poor views.

Oil leak in less than 5 years and inly 53k kilometers – I bought a brand new 2018 jaguar e-pace. It has the 5-year complimentary service, and had been serviced by Jaguar regulary as per their schedule. A week ago, i noticed a very slight oil leak, and had jaguar service look at it. They said it was the gasket between the gear box and oil chamber. Not sure when that leak started as it is very little and… Read more

only visible by the discoloration of the drip tray, so it could have been there even before the last time Jaguar serviced the car in Feb 2023. Though my car is still within the 5-year service, it is out of the warranty period, so Jaguar wants to charge $1800 for the repair. The car has only clocked 54,000 kilometers, and is less than 5 years old, fully serviced by Jaguar.

Have never had this experience with my previous cars (mercedes and BMW). And the Jaguar service manager simply said he has seen this in other cars abd i was just unlucky to have one with this issue.

Was considering another land Rover but now i know what to avoid.

MY2020 RANGE ROVER EVOQUE P200 – I bought my Evoque new and have been very pleased with it. I thought the P200 would underperform but put it in sports mode and it really moves. After about 30k it even performed better. Has a rattle behind the dash when driving over unsmooth road conditions and will investigate this soon. I highly recommend this model and the best thing is it… Read more ·  1

holds its value well compared to other makes. Good on fuel, great comfort, and easy to live with. I will probably hang on to this for years. Bad Points - Mine doesn't have lumber support but it is electronic seating, a bit strange why they didn't include such an important necessity. However, would buy again or maybe go for the new defender which looks quite nice too.

My car is an absolute lemon! – My new 2020 Range Rover had been in the workshop more than on the road, DO NOT buy a Range Rover!

Faulty Fuel Fitting No Recall in Aus – LR in USA is recalling thousands of petrol LR4s due to a faulty tank fitting which may leak and cause a fire. LR Aus dealer advised no recall is listed for the same vehicles in Aus. LRA remain silent on the issue but have a habit of not following the US recalls.

At little tale of caution – I have gone to great lengths considering to submit this review and would have much prefered not to have needed to do so. We have followed all the correct methods, reaching out privately to the company and we feel we have gone out of our way to be polite and patient and give every benefit of the doubt where possible. However after 80 plus days and… Read more

no end in sight it's a shame its come to this.

At little tale of caution… this is in no way aimed at any local Land Rover Dealers as I feel they may well be just as in the dark… However this is squarely aimed at JLR Australia and International, who seem, in my humble opinion to think it’s better to keep building and selling new cars rather then allocate any spare parts for customer vehicles that are broken down.. This right now is certainly how it appears.

After a 12 month wait our new Defender finally arrives. A D300 X Dynamic HSE totally optioned up , it lasted a total of 3 weeks on the road intermittently showing a battery fault. Returned to dealer who charged the starter battery and sent us on our way. Within 2 days the faults begin to show again. We immediately call the dealer and book the car back in as soon as they can look at it and are told to bring it in next week, just call to let us know when you are coming. We call closer to day and are told sorry we can not possibly look at it for another 4-5 weeks. Vehicle ends up going into limp mode and is towed to another dealer. Diagnostics are run and show the vehicle has multiple faults which in the end are caused by a faulty MHEV battery… In JLR's defence, they supply a hire car. Unfortunaltey the supplied vehicle is too small for us, not set up for towing and any of our use for the car. We do mention this and it goes unaddressed. All our plans need to be put on hold for the immediate future.

We are told 4-6 weeks for a replacement battery to arrive. We can deal with that ( So we thought! ) After that time with no updates arriving, we start to chase up a status and finally are told there is no time frame for the part to arrive. I start to search for parts available internationally and JLR Australia tell me I may be able to source the replacement myself. We ask for documentation to enable us to ship the battery ( necessary for items classed as dangerous goods ) - this is never suppled so we give up attempting to source said part.

So, 80 days and counting our new vehicle is still sitting at the dealers waiting for a faulty MHEV battery to be replaced. Yes that’s right if it fails the car does not go … After repeated calls to JLR Australia, we are finally told that there are a total of 5 MHEV batteries in the world available as spare / warranty parts, none in Australia with no time frame for one to actually arrive .. We request if they can arrange for us to secure one and we could then arrange for it to be picked up wherever in the world it is and shipped to Australia. An answer to this and again any documentation required to try to do so never comes. Yet every day JLR International are building new vehicles at the factory with these very batteries. Good to see customers who have paid for and received the vehicles are being supported…. Do better Land Rover you are letting owners down …

Now, just to add perspective before the Covid shortage issues get thrown around.... As from JLR International public reporting. “Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) posted revenue of 4.8 billion pounds in the fourth quarter and retail sales of vehicles stood at 79,008 units. For FY22, JLR's revenue was 18.3 billion pounds, down 7 per cent from the prior year. Retail sales were at 3,76,381 units” Ironically they also report warranty fulfilment costs are down ..... ( I'll leave that one to the imagination ! )

Don't get me wrong, this vehicle when running was amazing... We still patiently wait in the hope that our new vehicle will be fixed, I am just not so sure about the "Above and Beyond" motto anymore.

Wish I had never walked into the dealership – purchased my Jaguar F Pace 2016 and have had all services done through the dealership. The engine blew up in 2021 just out of the 3 year warranty. I had the engine replaced under 'goodwill' with no explanation as to what happend to the vehicle. Six months later and the new engine has just blown up. After talking to the service manager, I have… Read more

learnt that the Jagaur and Land Rover have this known issue caused after an oil change. Going back on my service history , this is exactly what happened. I am now left without a vehicle while waiting for another new engine. I am now having to get legal advice. This has to be known to the public. Jaguar cannot keep this quite. If you purchase a Jaguar or Landrover you need to be very careful. If the company doesn't come clean with this knowledge then A Current Affairs will.

Charge without fixing problem – Our Land Rover D4 had a gear box problem and warming light light up the first time in early last year 2021. Since them we have contacted artament service center to fix the problem. Every time they ask as to drop off the car for a day and never fix the problem. Today the car can not even start! It has been a year. During the time we have been… Read more

charged. There is no real fixing has been done. They just guessing what the problem could be. The only option we have been offered is buy a new car. Since they no longer support this car’s system upgrade. This car is only 5 years old.

Shame on you Land Rover – Had JLR replace the Lower control arms on my 2014 Disco. Lasted 19 000kms only. They said fair wear and tear. What a joke. Refused to discuss it. Refused to even consider the part may have been faulty. Office of Fair Trading couldn’t do anything. It’s now with the ACCC. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from JLR.

Terrible car and fraud Land Rover ( stress beyond and above ) – Bought brand new 2021 velar 1 oct 2021 . i used that car for 53 days and problems started the day first. When the car arrived on 1/10/2021 it had full scratches from inside and outside First day we realised the car had no auto lock working and a few times with the phone connectives as well(faulty) . second day we realise Again no smart remote… Read more

access in car, I called charlie to inform all this issue and Gippsland requested to fix this issues later on). After sometime later I made follow up calls may be 10 to 15 calls and few emails till four weeks -No updates. we ignore all this , though there would be some minor issues. On 21st NOV 2021 the car started showing problems with air conditioning and the window wasn’t working. On 23th Nov 2021 the car completely stopped working. where I called the roadside assistant to tow away at the Essendon range rover. Again I waited for a few more days where I didn’t get any updates on the car so I had to call the head office and check what was happening on my car . After that I received a call from the Essendon range rover, they had found a problem with battery and replace with new battery, but still car wasn’t work ,so need further diagnosed. So after a few days later I received a call again from the Essendon range rover for a second key request to drop at Essendon to do further check, they found major issues in car related securities and others. More than two months now no repair , no refund, no service . I spoken with JLRA(jaguar land rover Australia) , they ignore to replace new car or refund . JLRA told me that, contact to dealer regarding this matter . whenever i contact dealer (Gippsland range rover) Same answer i been giving to me contact JLRA, so I think no one is willing to make decisions or take responsibility. They made me fool since two months -Gippssland ranger dealer , Essendon ranger rover dealer ( my car seating for repair) and range rover Australia, head office none of them giving any appropriate answer.

I am paying every day $50 loan repayment for defective dead car. Please justified me , i am completely broken with behaviour from this dealership and head office. I thought i achieved my dream car but end up with stress and headache from range rover service. After I face from such issue , I have done research online and found Land Rover car is not genuine and out 100 cars , 132 issues raise by Customer . Which is terrible. Many customer raise issues that Land Rover never response to customer after they buy car.

Land rover is fraud and lier company. They bring stress beyond and above .

Customer Service / Good will non existent at Land Rover Australia and repairs inflated – Lower control arms were worn after 60,000 km. Mechanic advised to contact Land Rover. Land Rover advised to take car to Trivett Parramatta for Diagnostics. Wanted $2200+ for repair and said it was NORMAL wear and tear. Lower Control arms are expected to last 200,000 kms not 60,000. Had to repair control arms to pass registration. Took matter to… Read more

Office of Fair trading who advised that it was not normal wear and tear. Land Rover refused to pay any of the repair under good will / extended warranty. Took the matter to tribunal, Land Rover again refused to pay although member asked them to make a good will payment, they just refused. Tribunal asked to get evidence and a report but the part was repaired and disposed off. Repair cost $1531 by local mechanic, Land Rover wanted $2200 +. Customer service is non existent and repairs at dealerships are 50% more than local mechanics.
