Northside Fencing

I would not give these fools your money they got paid to do a job but never returned to complete it. Tried to contact them over and over again but never return any calls. So they take your money and run. Don't trust them. They will rip you off. If could give them a zero I would.

Be careful Ensure you know your rights and read your contract . We got stuck with all below issues and are going through QBCC as the owner threatened us that they will remove fence (paid them in full due to threats) and he stated he will not fix anything . 1- fence not built to height as per design 2- posts and gates scratched and they used… Read more

markers to just colour over them 3- paid for gates 2m height , they bought shorter one, cut them even shorter with no refund for price variance and one side they tried to fix by putting a small extension under the gate and the other side they didn’t bother to fix. 4-change in price with no clear explanation or split of cost . 10 emails back and forth to ask for split and they just ignored. 5- check your contract, they put a clause their , they have the right to trespass and remove fence even though it is illegal

Overall, just a horrible experience , not willing to take ownership of their work, not willing to fulfill their contract and continuous threat .

Chad from job number 32764 was an excellent installer. The job was quicker than quoted and done very professionally. No mess left behind and he was very courteous and easy to deal with. He arrived on time and I can highly recommend his services to anyone getting their fences done.

My neighbour hired them to do our common fence . They built fence on my lot as the boundary pole is on the other side of the fence which I found out later. So they failed to build fence on common boundary . I called Chris twice , Josh once and finally Adam told me they won’t do anything it’s totally unprofessional

with management. As management of Northside Fencing have failed to respond to both my verbal and written request, I just submitted a compliant to Fair Trading and the Ombudsman for restitution. All I want is the rusting products to be replaced and where they have used a grinder to shorten the posts to remove the sharp edges as I sliced my arm a couple weeks ago. I am extremely disappointment. If the young owner of the company doesn't want to deal with me than allocate another representative. I have a right to submit a request under warranty; he can't ban me from doing that. Management banned me on 12 May from Soliciting any futures works from the company (which is a childish move). This was due to me being unsatisfied with one boundary lines and now what feels like being punished like a 5-year-old. I guess my next move would be to go to the media.

forth he gave me a discount. They when I called to get a gate for my wheelie bin enclosure which they built and installed he would not return my calls. I then found an email stating that I have been banned from soliciting his company for any works and if I called I would be ignored. So much for running sand successful business and priding itself on outstanding customer services. The job I contracted to them was over $20,000. I have never been banned from anything in my life and to be banned over something so petty. I wonder what is parents would say.

Workman of the year – Chard did our back fence and a side with a gate. He was very efficient, polite and professional. I recommend him for all your fencing needs. Certainly knew his work. Northside Fencing are lucky to have such a highly trained person.

New fencing experience – Chad from Northside Fencing did a fantastic job installing our new back fence. He was very informative about the process and time required to have the old fence removed and the new colour bond fence installed. He was very efficient, organised and exact in his work. Anthony was so professional and helpful in helping me narrow down my options and gave great suggestions. Adam (installation manager) was efficient in managing the whole process. Chad did an excellent job in installing the fence and gate. And another Adam who nicely installed the electric motor to the gate.

No stress involved – Chad carried out a professional job in erecting our 80 meter front Fence. The Posts and Fence were perfectly aligned. I would highly recommend him.

would not install until the trees had been removed. When John came onsite to quote, he noted that the trees are close to the fence line but there was still enough room for the fence to be installed. Not sure what changed but now left with a refunded deposit and 15 weeks wasted. Communication does not exist and inconsistencies between staff. Won't be using for other properties.

Not impressed – Recommend you hire a surveyor before entering into any contract with them. Also suggest that you supervise the whole job as they don’t have any quality control measures. Suggest you look elsewhere if you live in the northern suburbs. Job was overpriced and not to standard.

Perfection! – Absolute legends! Attention to detail and communication was spot on. I am very happy with our finished result and will definitely be calling these guys again! Product Excellence – From introduction to completion Northside Fencing were professional, open and honest. I place particular emphasis on their customer service which was outstanding. Product selection and on-site visit was seamless, with the end result more than meeting my expectations. Didnt ring back – I got the contractor out to do an automated fence for me. I never heard from him again. I rang northside fencing and they said well you know he is busy. So I text him again to ask for the quote. Never heard from him. Very poor service. Tradesmen not reliable

The service and product I received was third rate – It all started well, with the sales rep stating that yes they could use a new eco fencing product that I sourced myself. From there everything went downhill. The first sub-contractor they used didn't put the posts in the correct location (it wasn't on the line we agreed and the corners didn't meet up), and also didn't space the palings evenly. sales rep came to assess the damage and we came up with a plan that both allowed them to reduce their fix up costs and reduced the amount of wastage of product that may have been. A win/win for both of us (more a win for them though). The second fencer they sent decided he didn't want to use that plan and not only did not reduce wastage of the resource, but increased it significantly - the palings on parts of my fence have been replaced three times. Out came one of the managers to assess the situation. His customer service skills were severely lacking, and his patronising manner was incredibly rude. So I finally have a fence, it works, they gave me a reduction in cost after I asked for it, but months later they still haven't been back to fix the last bit of it. So it's not the fence I wanted. It's not the fence that was specified in the contract we both signed, and they may have voided my warranty with the product used despite the specialist product coming with instructions. If you are going to use these guys to put up a standard pine fence, that'll probably be ok. But if you care about the fence that you want or you want something a bit out of the box then do not use these guys.

Great Company, Great fence! – From the time I requested a quote to completion of my timber fence I could not fault Northside Fencing. Their professionalism, knowledge and helpfulness from the people in the office to the person quoting to the installer could truly not be faulted. These people know their business! I could not be happier with the fence - and the quote was more competitive than other quotes I obtained! I would not hesitate to recommend this company.
