will get money soon, and now 5 month have been passed, no response on email, i have keep sending email since last 3 month, no reply, called them each time say the same thing that i will get my money, but when don't know.

I own a block of land neighbouring to one of their customer’s fences, and they recently sent several bullying emails to me stating I need to pay half for a neighbours fence. to. I had to ask twice for this detail and actually explain to them that of course I naturally want to know which block/who I’d be sharing the costs of the fence with- I mean how ridiculous! They just kept repeating themselves that it was under the Fencing Act. I kept saying to them that’s ok, however they don’t need to word it the way that they did & they need to show some consideration for other people who don’t want to end up with 2 different colour fences (given my back fence shares with another block). They didn’t care & just bulldoze ahead with no care for others. A particular woman by the name of [Name Removed] is really strange; the way she communicates via email was quite odd; & strange to the point whereby towards the end of our correspondence she offered to do my whole fence and when I replied yes (only because I was trying to avoid ending up with two different colour fences that join at the back of my property), she didnt even bother to answer me! Weird. She only continued to recite the same fencing act information over and over repeatedly. I can 100% see why they have terrible star reviews; it all makes perfect sense now

Fraudulent Fence Invoice – Poor Quality, No Consultation, and Zero Accountability – An invoice appeared out of the blue for an adjoining fence between one of my neighbours and my lot of land. All I can say is that my experience is similar to most if not all of the one star ratings here, the fence will need to be rebuilt as it is already falling apart. Calling or emailing them is a waste of time as they will simply dismiss any comments you make and demand payment.

Disgraceful – Trying to get money, threatening legal action yet did nt even bother contacting me to do the fence then lying when I called them aying the gm of the company had a meeting with me onsite. Ive had 3 lettersin 2 years

Poor & Pathetic! – Poor response Poor communication/Lazy Quotes are inconsistent for same length. #Unreliable #Untrustworthy Going with these guys will get you headache.

Incredibly unprofessional – We just received a final letter of demand from them asking us to pay for a shared fence by 15th of December or they’d talk to their solicitors and have us pay the solicitors fees as well , we received this letter on the 20th of December (they send back dated letters on purpose) and this was the only letter we got , no previous notices whatsoever ,… Read more

they also mentioned the invoice was generated around February 2023 and our home wasn’t even built then , I called their customer care number and despite me calling them during their working hours an automated VM asks me to contact them later , I’ve also sent them an email and got an automated reply , awful ,unprofessional and dodgy , why weren’t we contacted before and why have we received this letter out of blue ? We’ve paid for our other neighbours shared fences and we received letters well in advance ,it’s not like we are not willing to pay…demanding us to pay 1200$ when the cost of living is so high all of a sudden is extremely unprofessional

Payment – After weeks of emails to Luxton Homes and JLB, I'm yet to receive the second half of payment for boundary fence ($475.20). Luxton on numerous occasions have asked JLB to finalise, but yet to be done. I am concerned that JLB are pocking money through a third party contract.

Terrible – Just received a ‘final letter of demand’ for over $1,000! Never heard of these guys before. The next door build a fence and didn’t ask us about it and a year later we are getting threatened with legal action! See you in court.

Not happy Jan – Photos says it all … .had no choice to rate 1 star it’s required to put a review up .. would rate absolutely dodgy work if it was there … . pull it down and go on u tube and learn how to build one properly..step up and do the right thing and put some pride in yr work .. then u might just get positive feedback instead of negative…

Too good to be contactable – JLB Fencing are a joke. How do you run a business with contact me only between "10am to 2pm" model? And when someone calls, they are too busy to pick-up. You can leave voice messages and send emails, and can expect radio silence. I highly recommend staying away from these guys :) Lodge a complaint against them with the Consumer Affairs or ACCC.

Horrible job – Fence is out of square and they have left concrete everywhere it’s just bloody awful. Tried emailing them about the issue and they just resent the invoice. Absolute horrible company to deal with

Disgraceful company to deal with – Took over 3 weeks from the "quoted" date, then told 9am they will be onsite... after 3pm rocks up. Asked if they can install an additional piece on the brick wall, told sure. When I get home not only did they NOT install it they have used it in replacement of the one originally on the gate with the latch on both sides of the gate and then took the original one. so disappointed with how they can carry themselves as a professional company

SCAM! If I could leave a zero I would!!!!! – I received an invoice for fencing that was not DONE ON MY PROPERTY! me??? I have emailed them 3 times this year and attempted to call numerous times off different phones to no avail. If I do not hear from the business urgently, I will be contacting Consumer Affairs Victoria and potentially looking at lodging a class action lawsuit if this harassment continues without resolution. So disappointed. Please don't bother asking me to email in (I ALREADY HAVE!), check your emails and respond to me ASAP. I've already provided a deadline in my email, before I contact Consumer Affairs.

Been calling for the past 3 weeks and no reply – JLB, you need to be more proactive especially answering your calls. Just got fed up calling you guys. Lucky I came across these reviews, and all mentioned the same issues. Certainly not planning to call you anymore, giving my job to someone who is good at their job.

If I could give zero stars I would – AVOID at all costs. We received the quote to place the fence to the rear of our site as our neighbors had chosen JLB. Immediately spoke to my builders and confirmed that we would be rejecting the quote, based off existing reviews and word of mouth locally. rate. I could do a better job of putting a fence up, level it and not have gaps EVERYWHERE. We will not be able to move into the property with the work that has been done as our 35kg Labrador could get through the gaps in the fencing, not to mention the nails still sticking out, supporting beams not doing much supporting and looks generally pretty horrible. Please do yourself a favor, spend a little more money and get a better quality job. They may be cheap, but they are cheap for a reason.

Disappointed – One of his employees ran into my brand new bobcat trailer at a roundabout. Despite his employees stopping and swapping details I've had no luck in having them pay for the repairs to my trailer. I've gone ahead and paid for it myself despite repeated emails and requests that have pretty well gone without a response. I guess the reviews on here say it all.

the right person straight away (go figure!) Our fence is now done (by our fencer, not JLB). Was completed 2 months ago. Still no payment! They tried to send through a receipt saying they had already paid my fencer. The receipt was over a year old and not even for our lot! Again, do not go with this company!

inquiries and there is another lady who does the quote. Sent tremendous amount of emails, phone calls and voicemails to get in touch with the quote lady but all no avail. I just wanted a quote for the rest of property because I thought it would be easy if the same people do the whole fence to maintain the quality. Worst company I have ever dealt with – 4 weeks before moving into my new home, I contacted the builder of the home next door regarding fencing. AHB advised JLB Fencing did their fencing and to contact them for an estimated time of completion. Left multiple voice messages, sent multiple emails to JLB office, and no response. Never return phone calls. Fence completed 2 weeks after promised date. Best go elsewhere

Still waiting for our deposit back – The rudest, most unreliable, company I have ever had any dealings with. I would never , never consider employing this company again.

conversation, the owner Andrew, tried to tell me that we were 'ripped off' by the company we chose to do the job. We had three separate quotes all in the price range. It's bewildering that he would say that. They have on;y paid us 1/3 of the amount we are owed as he deems it to be fair. We are now being punished & out of pocket nearly $500.00. Everyone else on our property line has paid in full.

It has been 12 months and still nothing...DO NOT HIRE THEM!!

Time waster – Such a bad company I have ever meet. I did waste my two months for my fence with them and finally no contact. I have requested them to do my fence ASAP. Probably that's why they waste my time like this. Now I have done my fence within a week. And such a great job by A-Comfence. Amazing Amazing Amazing – I recently had a fence built by JLB fencing after reading these reviews I find them hard to believe. They were swift and punctual, I was blown away with how straight my fence is. James who I believe is the owner called me asking if i was happy with the fence before i even payed for it. bottom of the palings and the plinth and looking along the length of the fence it is crooked and uneven. We had another fence done by DV fencing and they did a great job.

Extremely greedy for Money! Beware!!! is supposed to pay me half of the cost. I had to call and email JLB Fencing so many times and one day they emailed me saying they will pay me. But after that, no reply on any emails or phone calls. I would have called them more than a hundred times, they are purposely not picking up my calls. No replies to any of my emails. Have contacted the Dispute settlement of Victoria to remediate, JLB Fencing did not reply them too. They took the money for a work they did not do and refuse to pay us. Extremely greedy and I can’t believe they are willing to do this. This has gone for almost 6 months now and I still have not heard from them. Please do not go with them.

the deposit was taken, then there was three days delay in starting the job and then 2 days delay because of a "broken compressor" and staff being sick/away.

Whilst I understand that some things cannot be helped - I would have at least been professional to recieve phone calls to explain why the delays were taking place, rather than me having to try and chase them up. My last conversation was with [name removed] who threatened to remove the work they had done part way through the job as he thought i was hassling him to get answers and a completed job

Quite smnply do not use.
