Worst toaster we have had.cant rate no stars – Bought from kogan about 3 months ago and has never toasted efficiantly.takes forever to toast despite turning it up to full.got rid of old but good toaster for this.shame on you kambrook Show details
So Bad! – I bought this because I have a family of 5 and needed something that could keep up with the breakfast run. It was terribly slow, like I mean really slow! After waiting 4 minutes for a slice of toast it still popped up undercooked. If it was slightly frozen before it went in, expect up to 8 minutes for a slice of toasted bread. I took it back and changed it fairly quickly after one side stopped popping up. Would not recommend this at all :( Show details
Hooray! A toaster that works! – I am sick of buying rubbish toasters, that cook unevenly, or really fast, or burn everything. I read the reviews on here and didn't hold out much hope for the Kambrook, but I had to replace a new Sunbeam toaster which was useless, and I only had a $60 max budget. Well, touch wood, this toaster has been a champion from the off! Wide enough for… Read more
larger slices, cooks EVENLY, and you don't waste electricity by using all the slots if you only want to cook a couple of slices. I have put it on setting 3 and EVERY piece of bread has been perfectly toasted.
Some people complain it is slow - it may be a bit slower than other toasters I've had, but at least it doesn't burn the toast within 30 seconds, and I can prep everything else as it browns my bread. I actually timed it at setting 3 for 2 slices (in case that helps potential buyers) and it took 3 minutes - again, perfectly toasted. :-)
I know it's early days, but I am very happy with it, as you can probably tell!
DO NOT BUY – Hello, purchased this unit as it can do 4 slices - thick at once! Why I give this toaster 1 Star - it takes about 10 minutes to do 2 slices! It is the slowest piece of #rap on the market. Harvey wont take it back because they say it works, I say that the KAMBROOK PROFILE is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. I ended up putting it in the garage and buying a new one, different brand!!! Show details
Worst toaster i have ever owned – This toaster is terrible. I had the first one replaced because it wouldn't hold the toast down. The replacement one is not consistent with its toasting. I have it one 1 and it will burn my toast one day and the next day the toast will be uncooked. I expected more when paying $70 Show details
This is not a good toaster – This toaster will never cook the toast the same twice. It is impossible to get the setting consistent. One day you will get uncooked bread and he next day black charred toast without adjusting the settings. It is definitely worth it to spend a little more and getting a better toaster, Show details

Soooo Slow!! – I replaced my Sunbeam 4 slot toaster with the Profile KT460 and cannot compare the two. The profile is SO SLOW no matter which setting it's on. All it does is dry out the bread. I paid top dollar ($69.95) at Harvey Norman and am now sorry I chose this model. Show details

A toast for a decent toaster! – While it's a little slower than the Sunbeam 4 slice long slot I bought a month ago to replace my Bellini 4 slot that suddenly died after a couple of years, the Kambrook Profile actually toasts bagels, raison bread and regular sliced bread evenly, dare I say perfectly. The Sunbeam was fast but burnt everything around the edges while the centre… Read more
remained uncooked, even on the lowest setting, which is why I returned it. The Bellini was better and cheaper than the Sunbeam despite having to turn the toast over to get even toasting and watching it to stop it from burning. So while the Kambrook is a little slower, I dont have to watch it or turn it over. Therefore I can multitask breaky preparation and its easy for kids to use. If you read the straighforward instructions regarding heat settings, you're good to go and can expect perfect toast. Despite all the negative reviews on this unit about it being slow, the saleswoman at Good Guys assured me it was a sturdy unit that they have been selling for ages and haven't had any issues. So far soooo good and I raise my latte to toast the Kambrook Profile for a decent unit at a decent price.
Slowest Toaster Yet – This is the worlds slowest toaster. I wish I saw these reviews before I bought it! Not a speck of brown on my toast, just weird stale like bread! I was hoping mine was just faulty but it would appear others are having the same issues. Not happy! Toaster is essential! Show details

Worlds slowest toaster – Thought I would splash out and pay a premium for a decent toaster and I got burnt but there's no way your toast will. Takes so long you can't plan to have toast with anything. You give up waiting and end up with warm bread instead every time. Plus the handle is buggy and take a couple of goes to lock the toast down. Broke before putting bread in!! – Plugged it in, put both sides down to burn off factory smell. Left side popped up in about 30 seconds and won't go back down, right side popped up after a couple of minutes and now won't go down. I'm taking it back to Good Guys now. Won't buy again Show details
Bad Product – It looks really nice but unfortunately is so slow to cook toast, and top and bottom don't cook properly, I have to say that it is the worst toaster I have ever had. Serves me right for going with looks! I'll stick to the cheaper ones next time! In fact, it has put me off toast. Show details
Slow to cook – This toaster looks really nice. We bought a nice red one which looks great and has a nice shape. Unfortunately it is much slower to cook than any toaster I can remember (and I've had a few). If you don't mind going grey while waiting for your toast to cook this is the one for you. Very disappointed. Show details

Poor product and customer service Kambrook – The Kambrook KT450 was never the best toaster, less than a week out of warranty it starts tripping the circuit breaker. I contacted Kambrook sorry out of warranty but you can buy another one at a reduced discounted price. Why would I buy another that will only last 12 months?
UItra slow – I've had a few toasters now and this has been the slowest of them all. No idea how a 2400W toaster can be so awfully slow. I also need to set it to maximum for the toast to be done. This one is going to be chucked very soon, getting a Breville.

Guess what, the warranty just ran out – Thought I would pay a little more for a 'better' toaster than usual. Worked fine (although slow) for a year. Now time has passed and it is no longer in warranty, one side won't stay down. Thought I would have a look but there seems to be a special screw in so I can't open it. Guess they would like me to pay for a repair!! Next time back to the cheap ones that are easy to replace.
Rubbish – It's a pity you cannot return a toaster after using it... It works like a 10 year old burnt out toaster. It takes FOREVER to toast and mainly on one side only. It's on permanent crumpet mode, even thou it doesn't have the option. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! :( Looks good. Everything.

Poor – Just brought it home to try but will I be taking it back as absolutely hopeless. Takes forever to cook and toasts one side more than the other. It looks stylish and has very wide toasting slots but cooking element too far away from thin slices of bread. Very disappointed
Works great. good value – I bought it mid 2013 from the good guys for around $50 (bought few things so I bargained down to $50. I saw people were saying its slow, but for us its looks normal no longer than the Tefal we had before. its easy to clean, with the two black trays that come out easily. Our toaster is set to 3 out of 5 and works fine. after few month we have no issues with it and worth the $50. looks and does the job nothing
Worlds slowest toaster – The title says most of it, but not only is it slow it toasts unevenly, the lower part of the toast doesn't cook. Had my last toaster for many years but with kids needed to upgrade to a 4 slice. Kids lose interest in wanting toast 'cos it's so slow. Just not happy. Sloooooowwwww
ABSOLUTELY the worst ... so slow it is a running (crawling) joke in our house - such a waste of… Read more
Kambrook KT450 is worst 4 slice toaster I have ever bought – the slice on the left side is white on one side and brown on the other. the setting need to be on 4 and takes forever. If you stand and watch you can press cancell and then swap them round. The right side started on 3 but now burns the bread on on two. the toaster is only 1600 watts and takes to long to cook the toast especially as you have to… Read more
stand there to watch. I hate it and am going to buy a different one ASAP. This product is totally unsatisfactory. it was cheap and looked good uneven toast, really slow, inconsistent
Rubbish of a product – Rubbish, I want to return it but I can't find the receipt. I have the 4 toast model and one side works OK and the other side takes about 10 mins or more to toast and then the bread is only toasted on one side. The heating elements don't work and I have only had it for 1 week. Why do we get sold rubbish these days. Looked good in the store Does nottoast break on both sides
Worst toaster I have ever had – Takes ages to toast and when it does half of the toasting filaments do not work so brownish on one side and plain on the other. Pay a bit extra and buy something better Looked good Doesnt toast properly
