It is perfect for a couple of people, but has defects – I have been using it for some years and find it versatile for two people, however the clips made of plastic always gives way after a few months. This is my fourth one maybe, but the price has gone up and still the same plastic clips. All that is needed is some metal clips. Show details

Brilliant rice cooker! – Cooks rice perfectly and never burns it like other cookers do! I can cook 1/2 a cup of rice in it no problem which is perfect. Show details

Product Enquiry: Does the non-stick surface contain Cancer linked PFOA – I sent a question about this product to Kambrook and it was as follows I have used your products in the past and been very satisfied, however, I would like to purchase a small form factor rice cooker, the Kambrook MealMaster Mini is perfect. I would like to know if this products non-stick parts are PFOA free (perfluorooctanoic acid) due to it… Read more

being linked with cancer, if not do you have any products of similar function and size that are?

This was a genuine question, as many consumers are concerned if their products are safe (case R102151664). After a few weeks, when the email said a few days, I am yet to receive a reply, do they even know what's in their own product? I couldn't find any advertising that stated if it was PFOA free.

Not Happy.

Unusable 2 months out of warranty – Worked OK while it was under warranty. A good size for a single guy like me. Unfortunately at 14 months old one of the clips has stopped latching which makes whatever's cooking dump all over the kitchen bench when it boils. LIke others, the non-stick coating has started peeling. Edit. After trying several alternatives which were disappointing… Read more

bought another of these. Despite being very careful after 2 years the clip holding the lid on has broken - so appears to be a design fault. Not good enough for a fairly expensive rice cooker!

Loved it, but needs improvement – I loved this cooker for the first few months - it's more inexpensive than others that do the same things, and functioned really well. However now one of the clips for the lid has broken off, and the non-stick coating in the pot has started to peel. I can't really complain too much because of the price - but any spare parts through Kambrook are priced so high it's more economical to buy another one. Show details

Nonestick layer peeling off – We bought this to cook for a baby but the nonestick layer started peeling off even after 4x uses. Heating element seems to also be misaligned as it always burns rice on just one side in the bottom. All my other Kambrook devices are working fine after years but this was a dissapointment. I will be returning it to Amazon. Show details

Another easy gift for christmas – So you wonder if buying micro versions of things makes sense or is practical This unit takes up little room and the kids can use it once instructed. Its a small cooker but realistically is just a mini rice cooker. The advantage is that it only cooks a small portion so it would be good to use for after school quick meals or for an easy portion… Read more

of rice for two people.

I used their rice cooking guide but found adding extra water got better results, there is max filling guide in the bowl with the machine.

Simple , easy to use , good results and not much expense.

Less cleaning up and less mess.

Cooks rice in less than 20 mins from cold water
