It cannot be that hard – Opened box and saw that this product was almost identical model and design compared to the K-Mart Anko (I think it was) brand that I threw away, which prompted me to buy another, but what I thought was going to be better quality, yet six oranges later it was dead! Yes, you read that right: I didn't even untie the cable tie because I thought to myself, 'oh here we go, a rebranded product and probably the same sad design' but this actually it turned out worse for more money, at least I had my other one for a year! I don't know why they persist with this design, I guess some people got lucky like my last one. In saying that, you could say I am a veteran using this 'press juicer' design so I know I certainly was not pressing too hard to actuate the press, but I assume it has sheered the gears and now the pieces have fallen between the pressure switch contacts and it will seldom even powers-on...but that is futile with damaged gears anyway if it did spin.

Kambrook, why is it so hard to make a juice that has a simple on-off toggle switch??? It is not as if this is a circular saw! It spins at probably 100RPM and there are no sharp extremities/spinning blades; you can also incorporate a micro-safety switch that detects the jug is fitted if you a really concerned about this juice going rogue; you guys have made descent stuff for years, yet this one slipped through the cracks.

Just perfect – I have bad arthritis in both hands and I love orange juice and was inhibited but trying to use the non electric ones which was very painful to use. The Kambrook juicer so far is a gem. It has a part which allows you to vary the amount of pulp levels. I find with my hands you need very little pressure to apply to actually 'empty' the half orange. 4 oranges makes me a big glass full of orange juice. I have had this device a few months and so far it has gone beyond my expectations. I highly recommend it.

Excellent product – Very efficient and easy to clean. We juice oranges every morning and this is the best one we have owned as it extracts the juice speedily and isn’t too noisey as other similar products can be.
