went back again, only to be returned with a note saying 'no fault found'. It still didn't work, though.

The item cost £240. It lasted for 12 uses. That's £20 a use. I could have paid someone to do the job with proper equipment for that price.

Don't waste your money.

thing is I probably wouldn't recommend for elderly customers based on its weight. The height and handle I find is far kinder on my back than my current vacuum & mop which is good.

Could be better designed but I absolutely love it! – I bought this to keep our timber floors clean. Bottom line is I'm extremely happy with the results. The floors are cleaner than any mop job. area in about 5 minutes so our house is consistently cleaner than it ever has been. Our house is about 100 square metres of floor and I can do the entire area on one tank. It's hard to believe how clean you can get such a large area on such little water. I also love that you can use any floor cleaner in it as long as you don't use ammonia or bleach.

I can't comment yet on longevity of the product. But with a 2 year warranty which is doubled by our credit card company, I'm not overly concerned if I have to take it back under warranty. I really hope it lasts though as it does a great job of cleaning.

I'd recommend doing a standard vacuum before mopping as whilst it will pick up small stuff, it's 80% mop and 20% vacuum cleaner. Make sure you follow the simple cleaning directions after use. If you don't, the mop heads get pretty smelly :)

On the downside, it is rather heavy but as a 6 foot tall bloke, I'm ok with it. Do not buy this for your frail Grandmother :)

Love it – We have 3 levels, all polished concrete at our home. We've churned through cleaners as the floors are a back breaker m2 wise. We purchased this and had a wonderful experience. Useless – Used 3 times - really badly made and the clip holding the spray nozzle broke. Tends to want to get away from you all the time and the cover above the rollers keeps coming off and is not an easy job getting it back on. Leaks. Really not great – Interesting idea to clean floors. The mop it self is very heavy. Seems to mop surface dirt okay but not anything slightly stuck on. Also, I have a dog that sheds a little. water from somewhere even when I’ve thoroughly cleaned and emptied the device. Short cord and small clean water tank. Probably easier to use a simple steam or old fashioned mop.

Rubbish – Took back first machine twice for repairs and gears were still slipping. Was replaced today for a brand new machine and gears slipping right from the word go. Using it on linoleum flooring. Very disappointed! Show details

instructions online for a fix I tried every suggestion to no avail, and now the top cover over the rollers springs off whenever I think it's fixed and start the machine. I am utterly frustrated and very disappointed as I have found Karcher products to be good previously, but I advise no-one to spend their money on this piece of junk. Mine will be going to the dump as I can't be bothered trying to get a resolution from the manufacturer.

Rollers fail to operate – Only used appox 10 times , replaced rollers and backing plates as advised , marginal improvement for two uses. Absolute waste of time and money considering the brand name. Will not buy Karcher products again. Show details

Pick something else – First machine never worked from the start, would not drain from the washer bottle to the rollers. Replaced under warranty, the second machine worked twice (and was fabulous), until the third use when again the water from the washer bottle doesn’t drain. Only used on a small area of new indoor hybrid floor boards. Now taking the second machine back and won’t be getting another. Show details

When it works it’s great.. but that’s the issue – Use on wooden floors. My first one stopped dispensing fluid onto the rollers. Bunnings replaced machine but 5 uses later and same issue. Great until it failed 45 days later – Worked well then it began to leak faster than it could mop just a loose pipe but no available repair technician s able to warranty repair suppler was great gave me full refund. Recommendations by a Bissell. Show details

Very inefficient with more blood points than good – Persevering with this vacuum cleaner is a waste of time. Leaves floors streaky, is poor at getting up even minor stains, clogs up easily, is a pain to clean after use . Huge waste of money and time – This is a shocker - takes more time to dismantle it each time to get it working that hand scrubbing a floor would. heading to landfill which is bad result for a product that was expensive. Terrible a waste of money – Purchased under 12 months to clean polished concrete floor and tiles. Rollers started to stop spinning with grinding noise from Unit, and then sprayer failed after 6 months. Took it to karcher product supplier/repairer. repairs. They noted after direct questioning even after repairs they could not warrant it would not fail again. Terrible product - should be refunded as I have little time to keep taking it back for repairs.

Useless – Bought new from Robert Dyas. Great delivery service from them but within 60 seconds of use the rollers came off and the machine cannot be used. Because we had bought it more than 30 days ago Karcher wont replace it and because it was bought for a small church hall they wont honour the warranty either. This is not clear in their blurb so be very careful if not buying for home use! Show details
