Hi Darrel, I've never had to fix anything after approx 10 years. I suppose that is a very good thing but it doesn't help you. I would google it. Good luck Martin

Hi Michael, no pressure means no pressure i.e. either the pump is stuffed or there is a leak internally. That probably means a trip to a pump shop. Martin

Hi there I am looking for. Some spare parts for my recently accuired used karcher pressure washer it’s N1417 . I am looking for. Inlet union that will fit into the pump housing. That I can fit a garden hose connector on to it can you help or suggest how can go about this .

Hi Rob, I live in rural Tas. so I would go to a pump specialist store and see them. Down here, at least, there are quite a few places with knowledgable souls. They also have the parts. Good luck

maintenance for the 5 HP engine and the Waterpump?

Hi Harald, maintenance is very simple. I always change the oil every year regardless of the number of hours use. I check all the nuts/bolts on the pump and make sure there are no leaks but apart from that.....nothing. It's been going strong for 8 years so I am happy.

Thank's for your Coments regarding maintenance of Engine & Waterpump of the KÄRCHER G 2500 OH, well when I was asking Advice for Maintenance i was hoping to get instructions how to take the Pump & engine apart replace the Seals & or any Part needing replacement. But thanks for your Advice given.

The pump unit was operating at good high pressure and then pressure just went. Motor seems to be running at correct speed. No blockages. Inlet water pressure ok. Any ideas on cause and tips on fault finding. Any assembly drawings and parts list for the water pump. Name plate is N1417. S/N 234791.

My guess it will be the impeller in the pump. Unfortunately they are cheap pumps made in Mexico. Second quests is the pump may have a small piece of dirt in it. This is hard to believe but a grain of dirt can cause problems in these pumps if It gets caught up in the wrong place. Good luck with it.

Hi Chris, my guess would be the impeller as well. Peter C29 seems to have nailed it.
