Makes light work of stubborn dirt
Absolutely love this product. Effectively removes stubborn dirt from our concreted areas that was difficult to remove by hose and broom. Extremely easy to assemble and operate. Highly recommended product and great value for money.
Piece of junk. Don't buy one!
The machine is just under 4 years old but with only occasional use. The pump housing has split in half at the joint so it's now going in the bin. Don't waste your money on this over priced rubbish.

Working great so far!
Doesn't look like many people with positive review's come here. So I thought I'd post mine.
I upgraded from older Karcher model which was at least 15 years old. (It still works but was getting very loud, I think the motor almost had it). The previous one to that died after 5 years when I mixed bleach into the mixture (will never do that again!)
The new K3 sounds quieter and overall great improvement in power. It's still plastic and toyish look, but it ran for 10 hours straight today as I cleaned the entire concrete tennis court from stained d...irt/mold. I got the Full Control edition which included the "T-Racer" rotating propeller which is great for large flat concrete driveways/courts. It also included the "Power Scrubber" for really stubborn stains on outdoor tiles. Both came in handy and I'm glad I got it. The only complaint with both of these tools is they attach to an arm which isn't long enough for an average height person. It puts a lot of stress on the back. Need to see if I can even get an extension. I'm sure the people who've had issues with it are the minority. I will continue to use this product on a weekly basis and will update if something changes.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Bought this from bunnings to wash my car, used it once and it worked so sweet as. Waited a week and went to wash my car again and its not building any pressure at all, like running on then off but pump is working at full max (water is dribbling out). Was turning the on switch and it just popped out, such cheap plastic junk, you should see the inisde, looks like its made out of chuppa chup sticks.
Now doesnt work at all (wont turn on or pump at all) , so its going back to bunnings,, i wish i had read the reviews on here first.
thanks karcher for making absolute rubbish
Very poor quality product - not value for money
I had bought that from bunnings for $289. It is used very sparingly - once in 1-3 months and may have used that for 15 times only and now it have all sort of problems. Water is leaking and it is not building pressure - sort of stop start. Unfortunately i had lost the receipt and bunnings said they can’t do anything. So all the money is lost/ wasted.
Won't be buying another Karcher.
Bought at Bunnings for $300. Used about 5 times in 5 months then it gave up the ghost....no water pressure. But good news it has a 2 year warranty....but when I took it to Karcher to be repaired they told me that because I bought it on a Bunnings Powerpass card...I only get 3 months warranty. They considered me a professional user. Beware People! Piece of junk and terrible customer service.

Total waste of money
This is my second Kärcher and both have died just outside of warranty. Both have had the same fault with the pump leaking causing the unit to loose pressure. Both machines had very little use and we’re not worth repairing considering the exorbitant service and parts cost.
I am bitterly disappointed as I thought I was purchasing a quality German made product however I now realise these items are manufactured in China.
Useless piece of crap
Purchased K3 from Bunnings - lasted about 5 minutes before you could hear the water hissing out from behind the cover. Did read some of the warranty and decided not to try and fix it, so returned it too Bunnings for a replacement. All good about it, that's where the "all good" bit ends. The replacement started hissing out water as soon as I connected the water to it. Total waste of time and money. Would not have another one. (This was a replacement for a Worx cheapie that had lasted 10 years. The only reason I gave it away was I wanted a longer pressure hose. Wish now I hadn't given the old one away). Got the replacement on Friday, but have not returned it yet, now Sunday.
Cheap and unreliable quality at a premium price
In the 3 years I've had it the unit has has failed 3 times and has been repaired by a local repair agent. It's now failed completely and is dead. Probably done about 10 hrs work in it's life.
Bunning were not at all interested once it had left the shop. Karcher are similarly disinterested unless you are a lottery winner. They stand behind their shareholders and not their product.
Not a wise decision - look elasewhere
Waste of money
I had my K-3 for about 2 and bit Years and the cover on top of the pump went.Tried to to get the part off Karcher and they were going to charge me more than what the machine was worth.
I tried to get it repaired and all the Karcher service centres around Cairns laughed at me and said it's not worth fixing as it will cost.
I will not buy a karcher Pressure Washer again.
Was good for 2 years of regular use and then the pump seals failed spraying water all inside the machine. This could be an electricity hazard when this happens. Also my dirt blaster nozzle stopped rotating. You can now get more powerful machines for significantly less cost so it is behind the times a bit in terms of pressure output. I'm not a fan of the plastic pump inside the machine and this is in my opinion why I think it failed.
As useless as a speed camera saving lives
Bought a K3 and the motor would not work properly and had no pressure, took it back to the shop and got a replacement unit. New unit worked but the lances had leaks and eventually after a few weeks of use the dirt blaster lance decided to stop working due to the ball bearing inside the nozzle tip eating it's way around the plastic housing causing it to stop rotating.
Looked at buying a new dirt blaster nozzle, $60 for a piece of plastic junk that will fail again, No way.
Decided to throw it off a building from the 3rd level, I got my satisfaction out of it that way, as well as a good video and a lesson learnt.
Twice I have experienced water leaks from the hose connector. The first time, I was advised by the approved repairer that it was caused by the way I used the machine ! Yet even being aware of the potential of a leak at the hose connector and never pulling on the hose the machine has developed the same leak.
I experienced a malfunction of the trigger handle and the same repairer, here on the Gold Coast, advised me it was again caused by the way I used the machine ! What a small "O" ring in the handle failure was caused by my incorrect use of th...
Leaking problems on first day use
Got a K3 part number 1.601 - 812.0. Assembled the unit; connect all hoses and turned on water. Immediately started leaking from the k3 quick coupling connector to hose and from the trigger gun (the lance seems to work fine tough, at least I saw no leaks from there) - I rechecked connections as I wasn't believing there was an issue so serious as this product is from a good reputation brand like karcher... Well I ran out of options... My unit has assembling issues.. There's a defect on the quick coupler to hose (connects k3 to rubber hose) and al...so I noticed there are loose screws on the trigger gun. Karcher don't you have any quality assurance department?? Taking this back to store for a replacement. Will do a new review in case I get another K3.
What happened to a once reputable brand
I had a wonderful Karcher that lasted many years, when it died I decided to replace it with another Karcher thinking Id get the same service life, unfortunately it lasted 11 months and started to leak oil, I took it to the service repair shop as it was under warrantee and after they checked it all out they advised Karcher would replace it with a K3 as it was not worth fixing. My replacement K3 is just over 2 years old now and has developed a severe leak and vibration so its on its way out. I always thought Karcher were a good brand but if you a...ren't getting 10 years out of it then what's the point in spending that amount of money you may as well buy a cheap Aldi model which will possibly last 2 years but be less than half the cost. In a side note the service advisor said they don't like running for 20 minutes non stop as they heat up and they don't like start stop as the plastic pump expands and contracts which may cause failure........so how am I supposed to use it?? The service advisor also said that Karcher are better at service and warrantee than Gerni and if you want one that will not heat up you need to go to at least a K4 or 5 as they are water cooled, off to Aldi I go.
Not 3 times lucky
After my old Karcher packed it in after about 10 years,I thought I'd replace it with a new one instead of being repaired.Big mistake.
I purchased a K3 from bunnings brought it home assemble it and started using it,lasted about 5 minutes before you could hear a loud water hissing sound from inside it a water pouring out of the vents,so I returned it to bunnings for a replacement same model.Got home again plugged the new one in and started using it and again may have got 5 minutes usage then the same thing as the first one something has given wa...

Fault product, but still selling them.
I'm an independent contractor to constructor builders (housing), I've been through 4xK2, 1xWinner 11 and 2xK3, in 24 months. I only use them on windows and decking only. They get used, on average, once a week. I operate them in short periods of time, as recommend by Kärcher themselves.
The K2's fall apart after two to three uses. The Winner 11 is my older, personal pressure cleaner. When the fitting from the pump to the hose blew out, I went to the Geebung store, seeking a new part. When I was handed the replacement part, it was to narrow,...and would not take a hose connection fitting. Which I was then offered a K3 for $80 (I'd say cost price). The K3 lasted around 60 seconds, before the pump started leaking water. The second K3, burst and leaked water after 5 mins. I've covered all my bases with the plumbers on site, and operating procedures of the machines, again! I've spoken to the manager at the Geebung store in Brisbane, he still can't give me a good reason about they're product, other then I must have had a bad run of luck, or hit a bad batch. How about you admit, your product is infearier. You knowingly sell them to consumers, knowing they a faulty. This is not doing the right thing by consumers or your brand. I feel I will take this further to consumer affairs. As I've been offered another machine, which is second hand. As posed to a new replacement. I have all the receipts for the previous items, store locations and wittiness to the issues on site. It's just a joke.

I bought a Karcher K3.190 pressure washer from Bunnings 2.5 years ago. I have used it about 7 times to wash cars and deck. It started gushing water and lost pressure. I returned it to Bunnings and they sent it off for repairs. It is outside the 2 year warranty and they quoted $150 to repair. The unit cost me $289 so I decided against it. The repairer told me the fault is a cracked water pump. He said they are made of plastic at a price point and that this was a common fault. I bought a Karcher because I thought I was getting a quality brand but...never again as they are not good quality. I also have a Workforce pressure washer that I purchased from Aldi for $99 several years ago before the Karcher. It is the same size, older and does most of my work and is still going strong !
LASTED ABOUT FOUR HOURS OF USE ... TOTAL RUBBISH!
Purchased this K3 pressure washer brand new after my old metal Karcher had lasted for nearly twenty years. So decided to stick with the brand. Worked well for a while - maybe four hours of use at the most. Was quite impressed. Then yesterday it started spewing water out of the base of the housing and the pressure at the nozzle dropped by about 60%. Took it back to Bunnings this morning and was told that, as I had no receipt, there was nothing they could do. So, stuck with a $299.00 door stop. If you are seriously going to buy one of these Ch...inese-made pieces of junk then I suggest you lock the receipt up somewhere safe. Or buy something else. Just noticed one of the previous reviewers (below) had the same problem, so I think it is a design flaw.
Reviewing Karcher domestic steam cleaner.. very satisfied, had simple problems sort it out very quickly. The best customer service in the world. Highly recommend this product as well as Karcher high pressure cleaner, using almost every day, being their customer for more than 50 years, had at least 4 products, very few problems, in entire life, if any, very competitive market nowadays, cheaper options out there. Would not go for any but Karcher.
