Great carrier for long hikes – This is a great carrier for young children. It’s strong and easy to use. Our daughter looked very comfortable in it and it allowed her to see out over the top. The weather protector was a great addition too. It’s not super compact but still easily storable in a camper and it made going for long hikes with a child more practical and possible so worth finding the space. Look into the membership to save money.

Old orange version was good but the green v2 is poor – We used the old version - the one in the photo on this page - for four years with our son and it was fantastic. Bought the new, green v2 model when our twins were born and there are some major issues. They got rid of the water bottle holder which is just dumb - means you have to take the entire thing off, put the baby down, and get a bottle from the back every time you or baby need a drink. No phone holder either so same thing for that. And the space where the child actually goes into is really narrow - it is snug for carriage but getting them in without someone helping is a shocker.

Absolute rip-off by Kathmandu – We bought one of these three years ago for $350, then a trip to Aldi 3 weeks later revealed the *exact same carrier* in different colours being sold for $60. comment on this, but I felt so ripped off by Kathmandu over this that I haven't shopped there since.

Having said that, the carrier works well and is fairly comfortable, but is very bulky as it doesn't fold flat like most other models.

I'd rate this as 3 for comfort, 2 for practicality, and 0 for recommending purchase from Kathmandu.

Great Baby Carrier for long haul travel in and out of airports – Great storage, easy to put on and take off. Comfortable for baby and great for parents travelling overseas. We loved it on our international trip to USA & Canada carrying our 18 month old. Bub slept a lot too :)) The Snow-cover came in handy too in NY, loved all the added features and ample storage space! Highly recommended!

Just plain bad – This is a bulky uncomfortable carrier. The weight sits badly with a strange entre of balance which can actually be quite dangerous for baby and walker. There is also very little you can adjust to make it more comfortable. Also the rigid frame makes it impracticable for travel. I am searching around for something to replace it with. Everything

Great backpack carrier – Is a great quality backpack that has loads of features and is easy to wear. It has plenty of storage space so it is all you need on a walk. The seat if comfy for bub and is nice and high so they can see a lot although one would have to be careful not take them out with a branch! I got it for 60% which is a steal.
