Kathmandu Pepito Baby Pouch

Great second option – I found this carrier to be useful when baby was small but then discovered the ergo...which I found to be much more supportive (not placing stress on my back). This would serve great for a bub up to around 4/5months but not a great deal useful afterwards. So in my opinion you're better off getting a carrier that will last longer - up to a larger age bracket. Easy to put on Hurts back, baby doesn't get a great deal of use out of it
Comfy for baby up to 6kgs – We found this carrier to be comfortable and easy to carry baby in up until she weighed over 6kgs. It then became uncomfortable for me to wear. I found by putting the carrier in the correct position on me then sliding bub into the pouch was the most effective way to get her into it. Easy to use and wash. Keeps baby snug in the adjustable pouch. Only lasts until bub was 6kg, then it was too uncomfortable to wear. Very short usage life.
Great for young babies but short 'shelf' life – Comfy when baby was light and small and it provides the option of back or front facing. However, our baby was too heavy for it by the time he was 6 months. I have a sling also which is much more usable. Comfy for baby. Rear and forward facing. Only suitable for up to 8 kgs and seemed to make baby vomit.
Good – Great little pouch and not expensive (picked one up half price on sale). Would recommend using a table to get bub at a good height for connecting up to the harness. Not knowing if we wanted a sling/carrier long term this was a good first option and we'll definitely keep it as a backup. Our bub loves it, it's cosy and comfortable for her and she gies to sleep whilst we walk around. Extremely lightweight! A little awkward to adjust for optimum support/comfort. Newborn sits a little low down my torso than I'd like. Can't easily slip bub into the pouch, need to wrap it around them first then hook into harness.
