I have a P2 code come up on my portable A/C can some one tell me what the issue is? Model KPK35CRA
Im not sure on the models, but I have a p1 code comes up on mine when, the water condensation well that slides out the side, is not fully closed. Also check that the water condensation well is not full, because when it is full, it will stop the airconditioning so you have to empty it. When a drain hose is connected to the very bottom plug at the back, the condensation water will by pass the condensation well and come out the back.
Where is the water filter on this unit?

I was not aware that it had a water filter.? It has no water going into it because it is not an evaporative system. It is a refrigerant system and has water coming out of it, but this is condensation and has to be drained to waste.
The heat extracted from the air is discharged out a window through a flexible pipe that attaches to the back of the unit.
How energy efficient is the kpk35cra unit. Roughly how much will it cost to run in a small bedroom about 3m by 3m? how many kilowatts per hour?
Probably only the manufacturer can tell you that and the best they could give you is an estimate. This is because the unit doesn't work at full power all the time. It depends on what temperature the thermostat at and how well insulated the room is. If you live in Queensland it will cost you 25.378 cents to run a 1000watt appliance for an hour. The details of my unit are on the back and I cant get to them at the moment, but I estimate it's about 3000watt, so my guess is about 76cents per hour in a poorly insulated room on a very hot day.
