Beware of these Bread Makers – We received this unit from Myer Melbourne when we purchased our Kenwood Mixer from them sometime ago. It has been stored away ever since but yesterday we decided to try it out. When there was about 1 hour left the power to that part of our house shorted out. I reset the fuse in the meter box but the unit restarted from the start of the cycle which… Read more
obviously destroyed the mixture and again it tripped the fuse. As there is no Warranty on this unit even though it has been used on the once is it worth getting it fixed?
I'm not sure that if I wrote to Kenwood would they be prepared to look at it and you can see by how the unit looks that it hasn't been used apart from this first time.
Extremely disappointed

job. The replacements have obviously been re-engineered as they are prefect. The machines have never failed and bake once or twice day. the only time we need a part is because of lost paddles when loaves are delivered to the chalet without having removed them. These bread makers are used for everything including jams and preparing dough before doing twisted loaves or buns to bake in the oven. Super reliable. Small footprint - most bread makers seem puffed up with their own importance Initially bickets. Paddles are expensive - but then they all are
disappointed – I have been a happy Kenwood user for 30+ years but I am very disappointed with this product - it doesn't incorporate all the flour tends to mix to one side only which could be because it only has a small kneader, it's very noisy, haven't tried the jam making options yet
