Strong reliable machine at an unbelievable price! – I’ve had these beaters for a year now, and they’re fantastic! I was worried when I bought them, that they’d be weak, because they were so cheap relative to other beaters I’d bought in the past. I use the dough hooks to knead both bread and pizza dough for up to 10mins at least once a week and they perform very well and the motor feels strong and durable. The beaters are also great for meringues and cakes.
Purchased in at Target Australia for $49.
Flimsy and substandard – I have had these beaters 6 months, used about 3 times. Recently one of the beaters came apart. The beaters are very thin and light weight in construction, and clearly not built to be durable. I contacted Peter’s of Kensington three weeks ago regarding the return of the faulty beaters but they insist they must consult with Kenwood who have not returned their calls.
