King Koil Posture Luxury

Heat from mattress keeps us awake – We had a king koil for 10 years so when it was time to renew the mattress we had no hesitation in getting the same mattress. The new mattress cost $6000 and when we got it home we couldn’t sleep on it because of the odour. It took a lot of airing with the fan on to get to the stage it was bearable. Then we have had the problem with the heat from the mattress. We wake up constantly during the night in a sweat even though we have the air conditioner on. Very disappointed and won’t be buying the same next time. If anyone has any idea on how we can stop the heat issue would love to hear.

It's very hot and sweaty! – We got this mattress only few weeks ago. Our backs get really really hot at night like having an electrical blanket in its highest temp. Sometimes i feel like i might get skin burn! I wake up all sweaty and my back burning hot. I'm a back sleeper but I twist on the side to get my back cooled down. Obviously the sheets also needs more frequent washing with all the sweating! I expect much more from a mattress that cost me more than $5k. I have to say it is quite comfortable from posture point of view and i am certainly not feeling my partners movement at all but i still need a solution for the heat. I have been pushed to by mattress protector for $170 but i might go and buy another natural topper to see if that helps!

To HOT to handle!! – Got this mattress the other day. I'm not happy with it because it makes me very very hot (feels like I have an electric blanket on underneath me)- its summer here and humid but even when it was cold it was just the same - overly hot! I specifically asked the sales person about this issue because I get hot and didnt want a bed that would make me hotter - he told me it would be fine and I'd have no issues. Soooooo wrong on that score its not funny. It cost alot of money and its like a furnace to me - if the problem can't be fixed with another underlay (I have a special one on there now for bed mites etc) then I'll be taking up the return of this mattress with consumer affairs as the information given to me on this mattress was misleading. I should really have been directed away from any pillow tops but I wasn't even shown any at the time. Really really mad about this because I dont sleep well anyway and now its nearly impossible for me to sleep. Fantastic! Harvey Norman Moore Park - beware! Its comfortable (as in the feel of it) Unbearably hot to sleep on for me!
