Super firm is too soft ! – Bought King Koil "spine care super firm" mattress in Jan 2014 from Forty Winks. There is a ICA logo on the mattress, (ICA stands for International Chiropractors Association as I googled), indicating the "Spine Care" mattress was cetificated by ICA. But I seriously doubt it. If ICA really exists, does it test the firmness of mattress? What is standard super firm?

reading the FortyWinks literature about the mattress online. It is barely 2 months old & already has indentations from where you sit at the edge of the bed to get in. When I move down the bed on the same side, you can feel the difference between the 'sunken' part & the end of the bed where no one sits on, its like climbing a mountain side on. Likewise, when I lie in bed & move across to the other side, it is not easy, as the mattress has sunk where my body normally lies. This indicates extremely poor manufacturing, as I am not a big lady at all. I have contacted the FortyWinks store & the manager has indicated they will go to King Koil to troubleshoot. I do not know what that means, but, seriously they should discontinue stocking this range as impacts on their reputation. All I can advise to prospective mattress is stay clear of the King Koil brand as you will regret it.

Absolute rubbish-loses firmness overnight – the mattress collapsed very quickly and causes back problems. am in the market now for a new mattress and will boycott king coil and all other ah beard products. they must have paid the i.c.a very handsomely. learnt my lesson for supporting an aussie co

King of Mattresses – I have back problems so I bought a King Koil Spinecare mattress way back in 2003 and it's still going strong! We spend one third of our life asleep, so why compromise on quality? I hope they are still available when it comes time to buy a new bed. Highly recommended.

"SpineCare" mattress should do! Here's hoping that AH Beard does the right thing under the warranty process (I'll let you know). We also have a Queen size KingKoil mattress which we are quite happy with so not sure what happened to our king size. Get the UltraPlush – Really contributed to deep, restful sleep. Doesn't sag on the sides, quality construction, soft, pillowy comfort layer, very natural feeling, very plush but quite support. I would definitely recommend this to those who have sore joints or arthritis. Try it for yourself at 40 WINKS or another retailer. I wouldn't buy a mattress online without trying it first.
