King Living 1977

Great Conversation Couch – I have had our 1977 couch for about 5 months now and it is super comfortable and stylish! I will say which I assume would be normal due to wear and tear, but the fabric is a lot more wooly and rough compared to when we first got it which would be expected with use. Otherwise, we love it! We also have another set of covers to change once the green gets older which is awesome!

King Living Newcastle INCREDIBLE people! – I have purchased many King Living pieces and every item has been fantastic. The sales team lead by Sarah at Newcastle are very professional and we value the colour and style direction they have helped us with for the entire apartment.

Super comfy – The sofas were delivered last week and we're very happy with them. They are very comfortable and look great. Originally I ordered them as a 3 seater and 3 seater with chaise, but have decided to separate the chaise as its own seat. The modular setup makes it very flexible. The fabric (Leura S Ocean) is super soft and our cats don't seem to be attracted to destroy it like some fabrics do.

Very Comfy – I have had this for a few months, it is great in the home theatre room. Very comfortable. The neutral tone works well with all our furniture (old and new).

Love it – Got this for my first home and love it. So do my guests - two of my friends have recently brought it after seeing/sitting on mine. Great value for money especially when they have their sales and best of all my cat doesn’t scratch it :)

Flexible and durable – Had to wait several months for delivery but loving the couches. Very comfortable and durable (we have kids jumping on it nearly daily for half a year now). Also the fact that they are in individual pieces makes it easy to rearrange for your needs. We had them as big family space, big cubicle cuddle space, cinema setting (two row seats) and keep experimenting.

Stylish, comfy + cat friendly – So stylish and so comfy! Plus great with cats. I always dissuade them from scratching the couch but of course, they do anyway. The marks are not visible. It’s great.

Beautiful furniture – Beautiful and very functional furniture. We are enjoying the sofas and love the modularity, enable several different arrangements in our living room.

Aesthetically pleasing to the eye and lovley sofa – No doubt, the best sofa we have owned. Not bacause my wife insisted on dragging me down to the showroom but because it is comfortable, flexible and was great to look at. (Wife and sofa) I love the range and cant wait to get rid of other furniture to replace it with the 1977 sofa range !

Best kids sofa – The most awesome sofa for the grandkids - they love it - no grown ups allowed. Extremely well made and very comfortable (even for the grown ups for story time) and so practical as washable covers. Absolutely recommend this sofa

Love the '77 – Bought 6 months ago for the teens tv room - they love it and it's so stylish and fits the style of the room perfectly. love that I can clean it easily....especially as the cheeky staffy also loves it!

Stylish – Was looking for a particular size lounge, not too large with a little flare for the dramatic. The 1977 sofa was perfect and the surprising comfortability was an added bonus with the ability to remove the fabric if required to wash.

Love this couch! – We bought this sofa 6months ago and are loving it - it’s such a comfortable couch that elevates the look and feel of our home. Love the covers and the ability to change and wash (especially as we have a shedding dog). The covers are soft and comfy, we got the textural pink.

Fabulous purchase – I cannot fault the lounge. The quality is amazing, the material is very easy to maintain (even with a dog) and is incredibly soft in comparison to other boucle items I have purchased. From showroom to delivery I have been impressed and the ease of purchase prompted me to purchase an ottoman to complete the lounge room. Would highly recommend if you are on the hunt for a practical yet stylish lounge.

Flexible, comfortable not a vegetable – Bought in August 2025 for my new home. The sofa is comfortable, easy to manoeuvre and aesthetically stunning. Love the fact that I can also change the covers while washing the other.

I expected much better from King Living, but my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. met with ongoing delays and unhelpful responses.

The issue was first raised in March, and I provided all requested information and photos promptly. After initial assurances that it would be escalated and resolved in 1–3 business days, I was strung along with vague updates. Weeks turned into months, and eventually, they came back in late May asking me to again confirm which part of the sofa was affected – something I’d already detailed and documented.

Even after following up again in early June, I received no response. It's now late June, and this issue has been open for over three months with no resolution or technician appointment booked.

This has been a deeply disappointing experience with a supposedly premium brand. For the price you pay, you expect not just quality products, but also competent, timely customer service – neither of which King Living has delivered in this case.

I won’t be purchasing from King again and would caution others to think twice before doing so.

Comfortable and stable – I bought our sofa less than a year ago and was so glad I did because it fits our requirements and satisfies our comfort.
