I have a kitchenaid stand mixer 5KPM5AER which needs looking at by a repairer. I photographed the bottom of the mixer and filled out the details asking for the best repairer in Adelaide I could take it to. When I go to… Read more
submit form all I get is "The model number does not match the serial number." I bought the appliance direct from Kitchenaid brand new and now they are telling me the model and serial number do not match. Are they trying to scam customers by putting false details on the rear of their appliances. I have tried numerous times and I keep getting the same information. What is the point of buying kitchenaid if they are falsifying serial and model numbers so you cannot get help.
We selected a KitchenAid brand non-stick frypan in a recent supermarket points for cooking utensils programme. We were excited to choose a non-stick frying pan because quality non-stick is scarce. utensils, food soon started to stick. Eggs are notoriously stick but at first the surface even worked for these. Unfortunately, less than six weeks on the pan, while the surface still looks great, is no longer non-stick and so only fit for the bin. Sadly disappointed. Can no one do nonstick? Is it a myth? The accompanying pic is of the pan in its current sticky condition so as you can see the surface is fine, unscratched, well maintained yet sticky!!
Non stick frypan sticking and stained with inability to scourer off after only 5th use. Ive tried scouring 3 times, tried boiling on stove with detergent but cant get stain out. It was only stained by a toasted sandwich (see photos). What a waste of my reward points. Kitchen aide should stick too commercial cookery quality products, as 1.5 months of home use is not an acceptable product. Worst fry pan i have ever owned

Got the mixer actually fantastic, then I started buying attachments, the ice shredder broke down during the 2nd time I used it, I called customer service, they asked me to message with a video of the malfunction and I did it, they sent me a week later of complete silence a message back telling me to do what (all the things yhat I explained during… Read more
the phone call) but still did it again, sent back the email explaining that still does not work, and again complete silence, they are fast to take your money but don't care to respond when things go wrong HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. Unbelievable they asked me to review the product for their website, I told them the product is faulty and nobody cares, and they sent me a message saying my review doesn't meet their standards, of course doesn't because I'm telling the truth and they only post 5 stars reviews DISGUSTING
An appalling experience with this product and company. After a brand new machine ceased to work on level 2 on the first time use, a 2nd brand new mixer was sent to me, which almost caught fire in my kitchen on the 1st use. You can even see in the video that I hadn't even taken off the plastic from the lever, as it was the first time using. After… Read more
two brand new faulty products (KitchenAide mixer KSM70) I asked for a refund and still had not received it even after them confirming they received the items back in the warehouse. The untruths and run around with excuses as to why my refund was not processed was quite something. * update I have now received it after a very long run around and I have since bought a Kenwood Titanium Patissier XL and its works like a dream!

Bad Quality – I just received my first ever kitchen aid mixer today and am appalled at the quality of this $700 product. Is this normal or is the one I received faulty? The kitchen aid band moves and the paint has faults you can see in the photos and video attached. I expected better for the price. Surely this isn’t the standard quality.
❌ DO NOT BUY: A Premium Price Tag for a $1,700+ Nightmare If you are considering buying the KitchenAid KF7 coffee machine, run the other way. I returned mine today after a horrendous experience that proved one thing: you will spend drastically more time on the phone chasing customer service than you ever will making actual coffee. This is an… Read more
incredibly expensive product, but the performance is terrible, and KitchenAid’s complete disregard for their customers is shocking. Phase 1: The Six-Week Warranty Ordeal From the moment the machine started failing, dealing with KitchenAid was exhausting. With the sole exception of a representative named Alana—who was the only helpful person in the entire company—the customer service team was rude, dismissive, and entirely unhelpful. Because it was under warranty, I was forced to send it to Tech Appliances in Yagoona. To rub salt in the wound, I had to pay out of my own pocket for the packaging costs just to ship their broken machine to them. The 6-Week Black Hole: Tech Appliances kept my machine for six agonizing weeks. Their excuse? They were stuck waiting on KitchenAid to approve the repair and ship the necessary parts. The Missing Parts Insult: When I finally got the machine back, it arrived without the milk hose. Another 10-Day Fight: It took multiple follow-up calls and an extra 10 days of arguing just to get them to send back the missing hose so I could actually use the machine. Phase 2: Repaired for Two Days, Then Right Back to Broken You would think that after a six-week repair, the machine would actually work. Unbelievably, just two days after finally receiving the missing hose, the exact same problem appeared again. The screen lit up with the dreaded error: “Bean hopper is not in position.” What followed was another disgusting ordeal. I had to call KitchenAid customer service yet again. I was forced to waste more valuable time on the phone, take photos, and email them through, all while being met with utter apathy from their staff. It was only after fighting through this wall of indifference that they finally issued a Return Authorisation number. ⚠️ The Red Flags: You Are Not Alone If you think my experience was a one-off anomaly, think again. This machine appears to be a systemic failure: 30 Machines in Limbo: The owner of Tech Appliances explicitly told me that they currently have 30 KitchenAid coffee machines sitting in their shop waiting for repairs. The Myer Return Pile: When I finally took this lemon back to Myer to get my money back, three identical KF7 machines were already sitting on the counter as returns. Final Verdict KitchenAid has absolutely no business selling this product. To charge a premium price for a machine that constantly breaks, and then back it up with a broken repair process and apathetic customer service, is unacceptable. Save your money, save your sanity, and buy from a brand that actually respects its customer base. This machine shouldn't just be avoided—it should be banned from existence.
Kitchenaid Ice Cream Bowl Attachment - brand new out of the box is leaking coolant gel. It was a gift so I dont have the receipt. Contacted customer service who said that they wont touch it without the receipt. So its going straight in the bin. Disappointing.

loyal customers. I resolved that I would end three and a half decades of association with KA. Some minutes after the call with KA I received an email from KA (automatically generated) which asked ‘how did we go with resolving your issue?’ Of course I did not hold back.
Not long after my one star review I received a call from KA from a lady called ‘Jade’. I have to say she was amazing. The reason I am writing this review is to let KA management know that this person was a delight to talk to and how professionally she handled the matter. She brought me back from the brink and even improved on the matter.
She did even better than price matching the four slice toaster and I purchased it on their website, receiving it two days later in the mail. I would have bought a 1.7ltr kettle from KA but they did not have a kettle in the white colour. Because of how I was treated by Jade and her taking the time to really listen I went straight out and bought the KA 1.7ltr kettle from the Goodguys, a beautiful white one. The Goodguys were also brilliant. I am now waiting for KA to run a special on their automatic coffee maker and my dilemma will be who to buy it from: the Goodguys or KA? I am leaning towards KA because of how brilliant Jade was.
I just wanted to publicly thank Jade for her actions and the fact that she knew about brand quality and brand loyalty and the two actually do go hand in hand. We own a lot of KA appliances because of their quality is first rate and Jade has ensured that association will continue not just for our family but also for our children’s families. Thank you KA for your fantastic staff member in Jade.
Kind regards, Charles.
Follow-up · You have asked me to do a follow up review requesting answers to three questions. First, what made Jade’s approach stand out? I think it was two things. A willingness to listen and then wanting to actually help. She knew KitchenAid’s rules backwards and she simply wanted to help not lose me as a long time customer. Secondly, how did the price… Read more

Unparalleled Customer Service and Genuine Care – I seldom find myself compelled to write product or service reviews, but exceptional experiences warrant acknowledgment. out with the intention of purchasing a replacement part. However, what unfolded next was a testament to KitchenAid's remarkable commitment to their customers.
The service agent I connected with displayed an unparalleled level of care and understanding. Not only were they empathetic about the situation, but they also surprised me by offering to replace the entire product instead. While the specific part was temporarily out of stock, their proactive solution and promise of a new product within three days left me astounded.
In an era where genuine customer-centricity seems increasingly rare, KitchenAid's approach was a breath of fresh air. This level of responsiveness is a rarity, and it underlines KitchenAid's commitment to not just meeting, but exceeding their customers' expectations.
As a first-time buyer of KitchenAid, this experience has transformed me into a loyal advocate, I am sure this will not be my last purchase of Kitchen Aid product.
Quality products – I’ve just purchased the 7 Cup Food Processor and it’s definitely worth the money. Very study and perfect size for the kitchen counter top. It’s pretty quiet when it’s being used too. Very happy with purchase. Highly recommended!

Can’t speak to the quality of their products but as a company to deal with they are woeful. what we’d already said in our initial enquiry. After requiring multiple follow-ups, they finally admitted that the machine needed professional repairing - which should have been obvious from the start, given the machine was flashing all warning lights immediately after being turned on. Then no Kitchenaid communication about whether the machine was received or not, we just had to follow the tracking number ourselves. After about a month of no communication, we followed up Kitchenaid again and were told they can’t help, as they don’t communicate with the repair company. So basically they can hold your paid-for items indefinitely without any updates or expected timeframes. You will just get it back when they see fit - more like months as it is certainly not weeks. At this point we should have just bought a new machine from a different brand.

We bought what was the most expensive kettle I've ever owned. It was great - until all the screws started to fall out of the bottom. kettle, mildly unsatisfied with it compared to the other one. Then - last week, it just stopped working. It's like it had a short in it. Nope - they will not replace a second KitchenAid item as the original one is out of warranty. Shocker of a company to deal with once you've got a problem. Would not recommend.

Did not add an engraving to a mixer that was a gift and customer service representative Hunter was unhelpful. Considering how much they charge for their products their costumer service is abysmal and their website couldn't handle the traffic properly during Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.
Why cheapen your brand by using plastic instead of glass to make the blender jugs? Not enjoying it thinking about the plastic nanoparticles in my smoothie. Please bring back glass jugs!
I am a brand new KitchenAid customer and my experience has been incredibly disappointing. I bought a KSM195 mixer during the Black Friday sale directly from KitchenAid. A few days later, on the day it shipped, KitchenAid emailed me to say that the exact mixer I had purchased had dropped in price again. I had not been monitoring the price myself.… Read more
I only knew because KitchenAid told me.
I contacted customer service and was given two options in writing:
1. Return the mixer, or 2. Receive a price match code for the fifty dollar difference to use on my next purchase.
I chose the price match code. This was KitchenAid’s own offer, and I had also made an additional purchase only a few days earlier, so it seemed like a fair solution.
Then the situation changed completely.
After several emails, KitchenAid refused to honour the offer they had already made. Their explanation was that my original order total was lower because I used the ten percent welcome discount. This discount is something they offer to every new customer and is still advertised on their website. I would have been able to use the same code on the new lower price too, so the reasoning does not make sense.
What made the experience worse was that, after deciding to withdraw the offer, staff began referring me back to the Terms and Conditions about not being able to amend orders. These terms did not stop them from offering the price match code originally, so it felt like an excuse used only after they decided not to honour what they had promised.
I tried multiple times to have the matter escalated. Each time I asked, a different staff member replied with the same refusal, without addressing why the written offer had been withdrawn.
To summarise: • KitchenAid emailed me to announce the price drop. • KitchenAid offered me a fifty dollar price match code in writing. • I accepted it. • KitchenAid changed their mind. • Staff then referred me to irrelevant Terms and Conditions. • Multiple representatives repeated the refusal instead of resolving the issue.
For a large, premium brand, this is extremely disappointing. Offering a solution and then retracting it after the customer accepts it is unacceptable, and the shifting explanations have left a very poor impression of the brand.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend buying directly from KitchenAid Australia.
Extremely Disappointed – 3-Year Warranty Is a Joke! I bought two KitchenAid nonstick fry pans thinking I was investing in good quality cookware backed by a 3-year warranty. support, I was shocked to be told that this kind of issue is “not covered” under their warranty. So what’s the point of advertising a 3-year warranty if it doesn’t cover the most obvious problem — the nonstick surface wearing off? This experience completely destroyed my trust in the brand. The quality is poor, the customer service is unhelpful, and the warranty is meaningless. I’ll never buy KitchenAid cookware again, and I strongly don’t recommend it to anyone who expects products to last more than a few months.

given guarantee. It states that a product should be of acceptable quality, fit to purpose, and be safe. I advised Kitchenaid their 1 year warranty does not negate or supersede this, that these 2 products are not safe to use with food. Kitchenaid refused legal remedy. I am now taking my complaint for help under Australian law. 1. Flex edge beater: the silicone “flex edge” is leeching synthetic sticky chemical residue all over. This is NOT safe for contact with raw food, which is the retailed use for this product. The flex edge beater is for attaching to the Kitchenaid mixer specifically to mix raw food ingredients. The product is faulty, not fit for purpose, not safe for purpose. Kitchenaid is aware of so many complaints that they have recommended 2 solutions on their website, detergent washing and white vinegar application, neither work. It is a ‘fob customer off’ solution.
2. Stainless Steel 3Qt mixing bowl for stand mixer. Mine has many rust spots and streaks through the bowl interior. The bowl is sold for putting raw food ingredients in it to mix. Mixing in a rusty bowl is not healthy. Kitchenaid products are sold with a high end price tag, expensive. The stainless steel of the mixing bowl, used as per manufacturer Kitchenaid advises, should reasonably be expected to be of a high enough quality not to rust. Mine is stored on an open, aired shelf, in an open plan kitchen. Always hand washed and well dried after use. A rusting mixing bowl is unhealthy and unsafe for use with raw food, the bowl rusts therefore is not fit for purpose and not safe. Kitchenaid is aware of the problem and has posted ‘cleaning solutions’ on their website. These do not work. -If products are being used for advertised purpose and cared for as per manufacturer instructions, then products should be and remain fit to purpose and safe to use. These are not.
Bought a toaster and kettle package. The toaster didn't last a year, they refunded the toaster which is great, but now Im stuck trying to colour match a new toaster to our left over kettle. Why don't there appliances not break, that would make life way easier.
Not a good first impression – After waiting 10 days for my food processor to arrive i was informed by customer service that my legitimate order during end of year sale event was arbitrarily cancelled by their accounts division. Sketchy information from customer service and evasive when asked direct questions. Questionable whether the product would have been any good judging by the other reviews. So far not impressed.
