Disappointing – Not very powerful. Hard to beat butter and sugar to a cream - the main reason for a hand mixer. The 9 speeds are hard to identify as the slim light indicators are hard to count. Who wants to count little light strips? Whisk worked well but a cheapie from kmart would do as well or better. I am disappointed in Kitchenaid. I really thought it would be special. Glad I got it on sale. Would not recommend. Show details
Mine works really well – I am surprised at the poor reviews of this product as mine works rather well. It does not vibrate my hand, it works on all speeds and is very powerful. I am wondering of there were two releases of this machine, one good and one poor. Mine sits well on the counter when you want to scrape your bowl down, speeds up quickly and blends nicely. I often… Read more
use it in lieu of taking out the huge bowl mixer. I can only offer my experience and while this product is horribly expensive I have been rather pleased with purchase. All that is left to know is the longevity of the mixer. Mine is over two years old at this time and going strong. Used every third day on average.
So slow – I had high hopes for this hand mixer as kitchen aid has a good rep. I wanted this mixer for quick jobs. But... Even at full speed it is so slow -as another reviewer put it, barely moves out of second gear- I keep hoping I'll come across a turbo button to quickly and efficiently get the lumps out of batters and mixes, but no... Instead I end up… Read more
fishing my $15 budget kmart mixer out if the cupboard. Arghh... So frustrating. I would not recommend this mixer. Sits up properly on the bench withou falling over. Inefficient beating and too slow
A waste of money – This is the worsted mixer I have ever had. Mixers with 7 speed, what a joke. When you turned on 7 it looks like spins in second gear. I will never, ever go with KitchenAid AGAIN ! So, sorry for giving that amount of money, it is not worth it.
A baking asset. Love this appliance – I have this hand mixer in pink! Prior to the KitchenAid I had always made do with the cheapest hand mixer available from places like Kmart. After my last cheapie burnt out I was fortunate to be gifted my KitchenAid. It is far, far superior to all of the hand mixers I have used until now. It is a decent weight, without causing strain during… Read more
processes that take a considerable amount of time. The digital feature is fabulous - it moves up and down the speeds at the touch of a button. It is also designed so that the mixer can rest on the bench without the beaters coming into contact with the bench. In essence, the KitchenAid Artisan Hand Mixer is powerful, easy to hold and easy to clean. It is a good alternative option to a stand mixer. Digital control. Fits comfortably in the hand. Great power and a range of 7 speeds.
Mostly good but...! – It is clunky and vibrates causing my arm to ache! Even if I place it on a folded towel it makes no difference! Otherwise a great product...does the job and looks good. Affordable. Looks nice. Easy to clean. It vibrates enough to make my arm ache!
