KitchenAid Artisan KHM926 Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPNs: 18899, 18900, 36273740 and 8 moreI have a KitchenAid hand mixer, but it vibrates SO much when in use. I was going to replace it with a new one, but don't want to end up with another one equally as "vibrate-y". Do you all find it excessively "vibrate-y"?
Yes I do. I used credit card points to buy it. Very disappointed in the amount of vibration. I'll persevere for a while.
Hi experts I would like to know with 85 Watts power the mixer is able to get stiff peaks with the whipping cream and meringue? Thanks
Does anyone know that how much dough can you make in Kitchenaid 9 speed mixer? I can not find this information and I worry that I may end up overdough! Thanks
I've never used the dough attachments but all it says in the instruction booklet I have is Mix your flour and other dry ingredients with liquids or other moist mixtures. Knead yeast dough (bread, pizza dough) with the dough hooks. I would say that usual people just make enough dough for what they need and what bowl they have. I've watched cooking shows when they make dough and they just seem to make them in batches if more is needed.
Thanks for your response!
Hello does it do a good job with dough for pizza?
I haven't tried to make dough for pizza as I just buy my bases at the supermarket. It has the utensils to make the dough and this is a brillant brand so I would say it would give you great dough. If you watch cooking shows, they actually use the brand to make their dough.
Thank you so much for your response!
Would it be powerful enough to mix cream cheese?
HI Suk -
Well I have made cheesecakes and have had to mix cream cheese and it does it beautifully. It is very strong. It is the best handmixer I have ever owned.
Thank you :)
The 85 watt motor struggled to beat eggs and sugar on top speed. What should have taken 3 minutes took 10 minutes. Very weak for the price. I have now bought a hand mixer nearly 3 times as powerful, half the weight and half the price.
Is the 85 watt motor enough? I see other mixers on the market that have 200+ watts sometimes 300, so the wattage on this one seems smaller in comparison, is that a bad thing?
Yes, it's plenty strong enough for everyday use
Hi Emily,
Thanks for reaching out. Yes, the KHM926 has a powerful energy efficient 85 watt DC motor.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

How powerful is it?
85watt. external link . I only use it on small amounts of cream/batter etc, I don't know if you'd need a more powerful one for larger things.
It handles all the normal tasks you would expect of a hand mixer for domestic use very well. Obviously not as powerful as a heavy duty stand mixer or one designed for commercial use, however, as far as home kitchen hand mixers go it's great!
