Great vacuum – I received this as a present a couple of years ago and have been using it most days. I do a light vacuum of the lounge room daily. I put it on turbo to do the carpet rug and it does the job beautifully. My only negative is cleaning the filter is a little tricky as it gets so dirty. I have taken to washing it and have to wait for it to dry in the sun. Otherwise I am very happy with it. Show details

Good Design but Low Suction – This vacuum would be excellent if only it had good suction. It has barely any at all, (just like every vacuum ive bought from Kmart except even less) and have to go over same spot 3 times just to vacuum up crumbs. Disappointed because it is great being cordless and able to take apart. Show details

Worst vacuum I’ve used!!!!! – After not even 4 months the vacuum doesn’t suck up crumbs it just flicks them backwards all over the floor behind where I just tried to vacuum! The battery is absolutely AWFUL, From start to finish it lasts 60 seconds on low speed and if I hit turbo she’s dead within 15 seconds!!!! To even get some of the hair and specks off my floor I have to run… Read more

around fast and try to grab what I can in the minute I get to clean my floors before it dies and goes back on the charge!! Biggest waste of my money!!! Ladies and gents I’d stick to a corded vacuum if you’re looking for a Kmart option ( Even then our corded vacuum stopped working after 12 months ) ! I like a clean home and clean floors so this was very disappointing!!

Was great but now not sucking – It's a great little machine, except the suction isn't very strong. I have pets and they shed like crazy, and I just whip this out and floors are done in 30mins, flooring area I vacuume is about 195square meters. Vacuume is sooo easy to clean and rotates smoothly, another great thing is that it's nice and quiet, well as quiet as a vacuume can be I… Read more

guess. Update: been a few months and now not sucking, my advice is to save a few extra bux and buy something better.

Hey KMart … This is great ! ! ! – The ANKO Stick Vacuum SL593C is amazing, far lighter and easier to use than any Dyson, it works just as well as the Dyson, the charge lasts 5 to 6 times longer than the Dyson and is $600 cheaper. We have tiled flooring throughout as we live in FNQ and it works a treat! My only issue is the dust canister which I dropped and cracked … help me KMart, I need a new one ! cheers Mark D Show details ·  1

Very good for price, but average for cleaning – I have used this now for 6 months and still going strong. Also found out that spares can be purchased online from hegroup.com.au - when on the site, search for SL593 Show details ·  1

Good cordless vacuum – Been using it for over a year now and still going strong. Good suction and light enough to work between floors. Filter need to be cleaned regularly to ensure it continue to work well being just a mobile vacuum with small filter surface area. Where do you go to buy filter replacement? Show details ·  1

Really bad – This is the worst vacuum ever. It’s does not have a string suction and if it does suck up anything it spits it back out once the vacuum stops. I only have it as my Dyson stick vacuum needs a new battery. Show details

Not worth it – I bought this vacuum 4 months ago. Worked great for about a week and then I started noticing that it wasn’t picking anything up and as soon as the vacuum stopped, all of what it “picked up” just fell straight out of it. Not worth it at all Show details

Great value for money – My Dyson went to the tip after 18 months, bought Anko stick vac, SL93c for $99, and was astonished at how good it was, after such a disappointing time with the Dyson. Show details ·  1

Very noice for the price – I've never had a stick vacuum cleaner, my place is small with very little storage. It's very light and manoeuvrable, almost like a toy, with ripper headlights. The cannister is small but the battery lasts well and it's quite powerful in the second setting. Great value for money. But we'll see how long it lasts. Show details ·  1

Average – It was alright but mine only lasted about 6 months, have just gone back to using the Dyson stick vac I had originally. The Kmart Vacuum was decent for tiles but didn’t have much luck on carpet as I have a pet. Definitely spend more if you have a pet or long hair Show details

Good at first… – Great at first, good little stick vacuum that was doing a great job at whizzing around the house, then the suction just got worse and worse and now it hardly sucks anything up and has gotten so loud. Should have just spent the extra couple months ago and saved some more plastic junk from going into landfill. Show details

You get what you pay for! – At first I thought it was amazing l, and for the price I payed I was suprised at how good it was. However it took me a a couple weeks to realise a lot of the heavier dirt flicks behind the machine so it appears to suck it up but it doesn't. Although it works well with hair and finer particles of dust, heavier things like dead flies, washing… Read more

detergent or rice etc will not be picked up.

I have vinyl planks, tiles and thick pile carpet. It worked better on the carpet than the harder floors. Just need to go over a couple times on boost.

The battery lasted well, about 40minutes on regular power and 20 minutes on boost, however as the battery depletes the power declines also. I would use it on my carpets first.

Ergonomically it is good, easy to manoeuvreamd nice and light, and the on button doesn't need holding down. The dust bin was easy to work with, simple button to detach it and simple drop bottom design. Filter is easy to find and wash, it needed cleaning every couple of days otherwise it starts to lose power.

I wouldn't recommend this vacuum. Coming from someone who vacuums a lot, it got very frustrating when I found it had missed bits after i thought i had finished.

Anko stick $99.00 – Bought last year. Has On off switch, with a Dyson you have to hold down on button. It picks up everything, is great on carpet rugs and lino, easy to move around plus a boost button. Great value Show details ·  1

Great stick Vac – I bought this Vac a month ago, love it. So easy to use on both carpet and tiles. Swivel head is very easy to maneuver around furniture. I have low profile carpet the Vac picks up cat fur with no problem. Battery life is good I can do my 4 bedroom house twice without recharging. Easy to empty and clean. Amazing for the price very happy. Show details

Excellent. Better than expected – For the price it works better than expected and is light to use. The dual speed is useful and strong over tiles, wood or carpet. The Hepa filter is a feature not normally found on stick vacuums at this price. Show details

Anko stick vacuum cleaner - only lasted 6 months – Model no VC8260-12A. Less than six months old and it no longer charges, so now is unusable. I used it several times a week for a few minutes a time, and kept it charged. So now I'm taking it back to Kmart as it is still under warranty (12 months). So if you buy one, keep the receipt! this is an amazing vac – It is light, it is so powerful , it really is equal to my huge hoover which cost nearly $600. I got this because I need something light, and I didn't expect it to be as powerful as it is. Dog hair just sucks up, and although its a little receptacle who cares as its so easy and light to use you just empty it. I can not say enough about this… Read more

vaccum I love it too death,,,,, Its great for the price one cant expect it to be as sturdy as the 600 dollar job but being real it truly is great I don't understand anyone not liking it

Poor quality parts – The product worked well on all surfaces, when I could get it to turn on. Like other Anko products the switch fails. I don't know if it is faulty circuitry or the plastic switch to the electronic switch which is dodgy? Either way I'll never buy another Anko Show details

Quite a bad vacuum cleaner – Used the vacuum on a carpet tile floor, works on fine dust, but anything larger than a small pebble or rice grain is impossible to suck up. could not suck much dirt off, ended up purchasing the ivac from godfrey for the exact same price that does a magical job. will be returning this unit to kmart for my money back. sad that it didn't perform as expected. Show details

Bought because of the good reviews- it's useless after the initial run – I was tossing up between this one and the Dyson V7. The Dyson sold out everywhere and had average reviews so I picked this one up after reading the reviews here. Unfortunately it has little to no suction at all. I have owned a Kmart vacuum before that had fantastic suction but the hose broke due to my own fault. This time I wanted to grab a… Read more

cordless vacuum just to make it easier and I thought maybe it would make me vacuum more frequently but for less time.

This does absolutely nothing on carpets and you have to pick up after it. On hardwood floors it pushes around any dirt. I usually just end up detaching the vacuum from the neck and using it as a dustbuster. Even then it has a hard time picking up a single hair from the floor. I have held it against my skin to check suction and it barely sucks at all. I empty the chamber every single time I use it, there are no clogs at all

I am very impressed – We wanted a vacuum cleaner that was cordless, would clean floors quickly and not pay an astronomical price. we used it on tile and carpeted surfaces and it cleaned beautifully. Great vacuum cleaner, value for money. Easy to use on hard floors and rugs. Easy to empty and clean. Love it! – Great on hard floors and on rugs. Easy to use, quiet and easy to store. Pretty good so far and a reasonably good quality feel for the price – - We currently own a robot vacum and a corded vacum for primary cleaning. - Bought with the intention as a secondary vacum to clean up after the kids and quick touch ups. - Excellent hardfloor performance - Carpet performance is adequate for quick jobs, but I suggest not to get rid of your corded/powerful vacum cleaners for carpet jobs. - Quiet… Read more ·  1

and light weight (great when the kids are having a nap) - surprisingly good quality (solid?) plasic, doesn’t feel flimsy - easy to empty - run time more than adequate for our purposes.

- at this point in time it has surpassed our expectations considering price and quality. - unable comment on the longetivty/quality of the battery as the unit is still new. (This is an important consideration for any high Li-Ion powered item, as many Li-Ion batteries may fail pre-maturely if usage and charging instructions not followed)
