Kmart Anko Sherpa Heated Throw
VerifiedMPN: TK160X120-1S1 review
It was great while it lasted – I purchased the Kmart electric sherpa throw for around $100 last winter. When it was working it was great. Unfortunately it does overheat when wrapped around you and therefore it is not recommended to be used that way. I used it on top of my bed at night and it was great for a while keeping me warm and snug, and limited my use of a portable heater during this unseasonably cold winter...until it stopped working suddenly just outside the 1 year warranty. I used it exactly as recommended by the instructions, never scrunching or folding the blanket, keeping it spread out and storing and cleaning it according to the instructions. However despite trying everything, the controller no longer works after only being used for a few months. I'm really disappointed it did not last. The blanket itself is lovely and well made however the electrical components are of low quality. Unfortunately I dont recommend it. With the cost of living crisis we are all looking to reduce waste and the need to continually replace items. However, in this case I'll be replacing it with a higher quality brand that hopefully won't stop working as soon as the warranty runs out.
