Worked well twice! After that no matter how much or what I used to oil the plates, the batter would stick to it. Sooo frustrating and dissapointing. Theres no point in something being in an affordable price point if it doesn't do the job. Show details

Great Waffle Maker – This Waffle Maker is great. Spray with oil before putting in the batter and it will not stick Put the heat on highest and turn once. The waffles can also be frozen and then reheated. I use Belgium Waffle recipe. Enjoy Lyn Show details

Cursed Waffle Maker – 90% of the times I have used it, the mixture sticks to the grill no matter how much butter or oil I use. I usually spend at least 10 minutes just trying to remove each waffle from the grill and the texture is not even satisfactory but insufferably doughy. Such a pain in the glutes to use, save up your money for a better one such as the Morphy Richards MultiPress (waffle-toastie-jaffle-pie maker) instead! Show details

Very disappointed – Used twice and after that it went in the bin. After oiling it very well, ripped apart chaffle , stuck to the top and bottom and extremely hard to get ingredients off. Would not recommend at all. Waste of $29 Show details

It's OK – It's OK. A bit fiddly. Takes a few attempts to work out how this works. Happy to have it as it was reasonably priced. Have no regrets in purchasing the product. But would not purchase again. Also awkward to store due to shape. Tricky to clean. Show details

Terrible – After only a few months of using it, I had to return it because it kept tripping the power in my house. Show details

Can't believe how frequently I use it – Purposely went out late at night to purchase this waffle maker when I had a yen for something sweet. It's 30 years since I'd had a waffle and had never personally cooked them but knew I hated the store bought ones. This waffle maker as is to easy use, easy to store and now gets used 2-3 times a month. I've had it for just over 6 months. Because… Read more

the recipes in the booklet are useless I ended up having to do heaps of research on recipes. This waffle maker is a "Belgium Waffle Maker" not an "American Waffle Maker". Apparently the difference is in the size of the holes. The holes in the Belgium waffles are larger than American waffles. I found a fabulous recipe using yeast and have checked out the various recipes - a few differences but mostly minor. The trick I found to the perfect recipe was making sure the batter is just a little bit heavier than a pancake batter, some of the recipes are too stiff. So back to the waffle maker - the cooked colour is pretty even though I've noticed that the bottom is slightly darker and more even - I guess to be expected with this very inexpensive item. What I would love by way of innovation is an inbuilt timer - not to change the temperature but so that I don't have to use a digital timer (none of the waffle makers I've seen have a timer). If you want my recipe let me know.
