Knopps Removals and Storage

Don't trust these folks – We shifted from a 3 bedroom house to a 3 bedroom house over a distance of roughly 300 kilometers. We completed the inventory as well as the estimated count of boxes to be packed per room as was requested. We were assured the move would be completed in one day. The movers arrived nearly 2 hours late and did not have sufficient boxes. They enjoyed a break of about 2 hours awaiting the arrival of another truck with additional boxes. When we left the old house they assured us they would be right behind us. We waited, and waited and waited but they did not arrive at the new house which meant we spent a cold rainy night in our car. The next day about mid-day they arrived but did not have all of our belongings. They told us the balance was on "the other truck" and would be delivered sometime the following week. We have received all of our items but find the service and promises of this carrier unacceptable. I would not believe any of their promises. Be sure to carry bedding with you so your night in the car will be more comfortable.

Life savers! – These guys were fantastic and on short notice moved us to Qld, professionally, quickly and reasonably priced. Our previous removal company cancelled on us 2 days before our move and Knopps went above and beyond to get us moved with 1 day notice. The guys that packed us were very professional and friendly and treated our things with the utmost respect. My partner and I highly recommend knopps, and if you want a company who responds quickly to you and follows through with their word then use knopps removals.

Great experience – These guys helped me move a few weeks ago and everything was done perfectly. The two guys who arrived were prompt and on time, and moved my items with ease, and with no damage to anything. Also very competitively priced. Would recommend to anyone and would go through them again.

Dont go with them – We got this company to take our furniture interstate. When the furniture was delivered at our new house we noticed some things missing after finishing unpacking a few days later. We rang them and they told us our stuff was taken off the container so they could put someone else's furniture on. They didn't bother to tell us or inform us later but insured us it would be delivered quickly. They didn't bother to communicate with us at all about our furniture or return messages and emails. When we did manage to get hold of them they said it would be delivered "next Friday". More than two months later "next Friday" finally came. Don't use this company.
