Poor Resolution – Disappointed with the resolution of this TV. Advertised as a 4K TV when in fact my 12 year old plasma TV it replaced had better resolution - Not Happy. I have tried all different settings and used Netflix as well and it really is below what would be expected. Nor Great !! Show details
This is a DUMB TV!! Do not purchase it. Infact.... do not purchase any KOGAN ever! – 1) Sound is TERRIBLE - must be connected to a sound system. 2) Cables are all non-standard and had to spend extra money purchasing weird cables, adapters and converter boxes. 3) DUMB, not smart - had to purchase a Google TV addition to be able to watch digital TV properly, streaming servies and connect/cast any separate devices as the inbuilt apps… Read more
CONSTANTLY CRASH, never upgrade and online / wireless access is a nightmare. Or you can purchase EVEN MORE cables and adapters to patch your devices directly to the TV but seriously, too much work. 4) This really is a [Content Removed] TV. Dont bother.
65 inch Kogan TV stopped loading and stuck on Logo – "Kogan" a low quality TV brand from a company with poor customer services. We did a software upgrade on our TV by a most recent firmware downloaded from Kogan website (tv model is KALED65KU8000SZC, purchased 2018), but TV suddenly stopped working after upgrade. Now when we turn it on, the Kogan logo pops up and it fails to load, and then turns… Read more
off after about 40 sec. I have tried to do a hard reset and also give it another go with firmware upgrade but no differences. I raised this issue with Kogan Customer Care through app. A few days later, a person from Kogan who wasn't a techincian called me and disappointed me to do further investigation for free. He even rejected to assist me on the phone by their technician.
Long story short, they won't do anything for free as warranty is expired and it doesn't matter if this issue has happened after a simple software upgrade (they offered me to investigate it if I pay for 4 hours servicing fees plus spare part cost).
What I expected from Kogan was a call by their technician to assist me on the phone finding out why this has happened and which part is faulty. I can then decide to repair it or replace it with a new TV. Think twice if you are deciding to purchase a TV from poor quality brands like Kogan. You get what you pay for.

this has been a good Tv until I have tried to do a Firmware update – This has been a good Tv until I have tried to do a Firmware update, and had an extreme problem updating. I got firmware from Kogan site, update stopped at 51% with update error and now Tv has only a blue screen. I contacted Kogan twice by email and no reply, cant find a phone number were to call. Really happy with this – This Kogan TV was my first purchase of Kogan products. I have to say I am really pleased with TV, the display is exceptional and the TV is an absolute value for money. I don’t think you can buy a TV of this quality with such a wonderful display for the price they are selling them at. Highly recommended and glad a friend recommended this brand to me otherwise I would have had to pay $400-500 more for the exact thing somewhere else Show details
Pretty good for $600 – Good panel able to run 4k games at 25hz 1080p at 60hz higher refresh rate would be better but it was only $600 I dont use this for the smart option cause is pretty bad and will lag it out just plug in a pc and it will be fine, has a game mode if you dig through menu options Show details
Cheap, Reliable and Sharp – TV is fantastic as a TV. It is essentially an Android Box with a massive screen. It is a bit clunky to connect until one gets used to the control unit. I also use it as the display for my multimedia computer -and- I use it as my day to day 4K monitor for work. Nice to have all my working documents visible and it is fantastic for large spreadsheets. Has not missed a beat for 4 years Show details

Beware - Unreliable product, poor warranty and even worse Kogan Support – If you buy anything that requires support from Kogan you are insane. Kogan goes out of its way to avoid contact. My TV started turning itself off. I did a factory reset and now it wont turn on. Kogan suggested a power reset and asked me to send a video of the problem. WTH A video of the tv not turning on must really help solve the not turning on issue Seriously - this is support Dont but anything from kogan that requires support

Absolute POS Waste of Money. TERRIBLE TV – This is the worst excuse for a "Smart TV" I have possibly ever seen. Netflix not on the TV as advertised. You have to download it on PC then upload to the tv and even then its VERY OLD version of Netflix. not even worth watching, the picture is crap aswell, can't see how this is a 4K TV. I actually wouldn't even sell it on marketplace or gumtree… Read more

My remote stopped working and I can’t buy a replacement from Kogan – I love the tv but can’t use it as without the mote I can’t get it to work properly. They said I could use another remote which costs $109 but then I need to download an app to use it, and I can’t because I can’t get into that part of tv. Very frustrated.

If you have TV antenna - you can watch on air television – Even though it runs Android, it's an outdated version. Netflix doesn't run on it. But the worst part is the TV remote which supposed to operate it - it's unusable, rendering Smart aspect of the TV useless. Moreover, the memory is not adequate: I was able to install 4 apps before running out of memory. Show details

Not worth the money – This TV is a massive disappointment. The screen is Ok and not the main issue, the issue is the absolutely hopeless "smart" interface, the version of android is useless and cumbersome to use. Most apps are not compatible and those that are can not offer the full 4K resolution. NetFlix and YouTube will not run in 4k Mode as the apps are out dated and the android system is old and out dated, ALL this when new out of the BOX!!!!

Digital TV has sound but no picture – Digital TV has sound but no picture, android works with picture no problem. I restored picture to factory default and the picture has come back. 2 days without picture as Kogan is going to help, useless problem solving menu, they always put onus on customer. Next time try HISense cheap and no problems after 2 years. My Kogan is only 5 months old. Joe Show details

Disappointed with the sound quality, remote, air mouse, android system – I don't recommend this model at all due to the following reasons. - very bad audio quality - air mouse feature stopped working and remote could not paired with the bluetooth after few months of use - could not install Netflix or even any other apps other than the default apps that comes with the android system. - even after installing the android system from the Kogan site, none of the above issues were sorted Show details

Apps wont Work, Cant Upgrade. Seeking resolution!!!! – As per most of the recent below ratings, this tv is very ordinary to say the least. Absolutely not why i bought it and now i cant get netflix through the app store and STAN wont work as it needs an android system from 5.0 onwards and this one only has 4.44 or similar. It wont even upgrade as per instructions on the Kogan website. Show details

Dust collector – I got this TV for the bedroom so not a great deal of use required. Picture is reasonable although jumps and lags more than most TV’s I’ve had. Remote is clunky, slow and difficult to navigate. Even changing the channel is painful. Netflix and other apps don’t work. It’s been collecting dust for the past year as we would rather not get in a bad… Read more

Piece of crap – This tv is standard cheap Kogan, never again will I buy from this store. Mine lasted the standard 18 months and took me 2 weeks to get Netflix on, which at the time I thought a major accomplishment. Don’t buy Kogan, crap. Show details
One other thing, Kogan state their office is in South Melbourne, it's a bogus address.
Kogan 55" Agora Smart 4K LED TV (Series 8 LU 8010) – This TV has a great image quality however it takes a very long time to load and is very slow to turn on and change channels. It is very frustrating.
Absolute rubbish – Bought one of these Kogan TV's found it difficult to use, lasted 13 months then stopped working, requires updates that no one can seem to find and use, technical support seems impossible. Definitely would not recommend this TV, apart from being difficult to use, sound and picture quality are sub standard, remote is also very confusing and… Read more
difficult to use, lots of unnecessary buttons that don't do anything, TV takes ages to load and the apps seem to crash, was easier to just plug in a chrome cast than use the apps on the TV, waiting for a response from Kogan is looking like a big waste of time so I guess I'll count my losses and just go to the good guys and but a Samsung, which is what I should done from the start, trying to save a few dollars has cost me a lot more, buyer beware is all I can say.

Terrible excuse for a Tv – TV is ridiculously slow. Takes a minute for the thing to turn on. Each click of the remote takes 5 seconds to register on the TV. To top it off, the remote just recently has decided to no longer work! Don't know why its called a smart TV, since most of the apps don't even work (including Netflix). All this and It's only 13 months old! I have TVs 6… Read more

Many problems. Regretful purchase – Have had many problems from the start. 1. This TV boots up to a menu screen and no option to disable this. 2. The worst buy ever – We bought the tv in May 2018. It worked fine until December 2018 where when we switched on the tv one day only the Kogan sign appears on tv and nothing else comes up on the screen. and after consumer affairs followed up on this matter they responded. Although Kogan said to upgrade the firmware manually which was a cumbersome and ridiculous process it still didn't work. I am still waiting for them to process a refund having waited without a tv for nearly 2 months. The firmware upgrade has to be done manually by taking down wall mounted tv and inserting a usb drive at the back of the tv. Ridiculous. And it still didn't work. The worst buy ever.

Terrible waste of money – Terrible tv. Very hard to move around and it just didn't respond. Would love to throw it away if it weren't mounted. Feel like smashing it in for all the time wasted on it. Screen failed less than 12 months since purchasing – I received the TV in February 2018. Less than 12 months, the screen exhibits a black vertical line across the screen. Apart for this, I was pretty happy with the TV. The image is acceptable. The boot time is pretty slow, but it is understandable for a low price TV. I sometimes use it to watch DVD's and it's working as expected. Although it is a… Read more
smart TV, I don't use this feature. There is no link to the product, because Kogan continuously change the product models. Less than one year since pre-release, the product is now discontinued (the 65" version is still available). This is the third TV purchased from Kogan where the LCD display failed in less than 3 years, and based on my previous experience, I purchased extended 5 years warranty. I would give it more than 2 stars, if the screen didn't fail.

WASTE MONEY AND KOGAN TV IS VERY BAD QUALITY
Amazing Product! – This is the best TV i have ever owned, the screen quality is fantastic! The capabilities with the apps and remote and amazing! only things i would say need improving is sound quality, having a optic audio cable option and 1 more HDMI pots (only has 3). Other than that i absolutely love this product. Show details
Value for money – After 2 years its still going good. However I have never been able to get Netflix to work on the tv. Says required external storage. Not very explanatory with how to get it going. Picture and operating is otherwise good. There was one issue where the loading screen kept flashing in a cycle after it was turned off for a few days ran as good as new. Probably shouldn't have to do that through. Show details

BUYER BEWARE-WHAT YOU PAY FOR IS WHAT YOU GET!! – Firstly after setting up my Kogan 49” KU8000 TV I noticed how lifeless the colours were, tried resetting it, helped a bit.
