Rubbish Logan tv product - the time always goes back. To resets - the app for Google search never allows you sign in – Kogan Android smart TVs are rubbish and the system is rubbish and never allows you to log into your Google account do not waste your time or your money! The operating system is rubbish too Show details
Many problems. Regretful purchase – Have had many problems from the start. 1. This TV boots up to a menu screen and no option to disable this. 2. CEC Function function causes the TV to freeze up completely and reboot. 3. Frequently loses time/sync. 4. The Smart features do not work. No Netflix or any other apps can be run through the operating system. 5. Will frequently come up with… Read more
error "TV has stopped" whilst watching TV. 6. Speed and menu navigation is clunky and slow. 7. Picture quality is 'patchy' in that there have always been visible washed out areas on the display. 8. Not able to adjust colour range properly in 'DTV' input. People appear much pink/redder than they should.

Wasting Money & Time – It does sound that you had for yourself a bargain when you bought it at $580 a 55” Smart TV , but wait till you receive the TV and you’ll be shocked that TV of the 1980’s has better features and more solid It takes ages to load (alot longer than any other brands) Lots of buttons on remote control are just useless and has no function It keeps… Read more
on booting you out
Eventually after few months , it stops working
When you try to contact support , no numbers provided , and when you send an email , no one contact you ever
NO Quality Here – Had no problems with the unit for 4 years when I went to turn it on and nothing! Had to email Kogan Support who detailed a cut and paste solution from their website that I had already tried. The last suggestion was to upgrade the firmware without any apparent power to the unit. I tried it exactly as described and zero result. On getting back to… Read more
the Support people, they stated they could do nothing more.
At this point, I got a trusted TV tech to check it out and it was diagnosed with a US main board.
You can imagine how truly disappointed I was to find out from Kogan that there was no parts support for this model anymore.
My message.....DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM KOGAN.
Waste of money – Worst purchase I've ever made . First tv I purchased work fine for 2 weeks then picture wasn't coming up sound only after half a dozen times turning it off and on it would come on . Contacted Kogan sent a tech out which took it away and replace main pc board . 2 x weeks later return to me and continually had same problem . Sent it back to kogan… Read more
replace main board again 3 weeks later sent it back when it was damaged in transport . Finally got a new replacement tv 2 weeks later now 12months on continuing with same problem but I've given up . I wish I spent a each $700 for a brand tv . I have a 10 year old Panasonic big and bulky but hasn't missed a beat and a better picture than a Kogan 55k agora 4K tv. Don't waste your money never again Kogan
Why buy a Sony when you can buy a Kogan? – For the money I spent on this TV, I've had it for almost 4 years now and it hasn't failed me. Works exactly like your big name brands, if not better and don't even get me started on the amazing quality this piece of work provides you from amazing sound to multiple HDMI/USB ports and very easy to operate and navigate through the apps. You won't go… Read more
wrong buying this. Take it from someone who isn't afraid to tell you how it is!!! You wont be disappointed.
Very satisfied with my purchase – I compared all the brands on the market very closely before choosing to purchase my new TV from Kogan. Most people that I speak to that know about Kogan gave very positive feedback about their products. However, the delivery driver did advise us that there had been some returns to the Company. In the run up to X.Mas it looks as… Read more
though some of the big brands are on a price war against each other but I still believe that my decision to purchase my TV from Kogan was a good decision. My wife was hesitant about buying a large screen TV but she loves it.
Why would you make a tv start into a menu? Bad – Picture colour is shocking. Menus are not easy to navigate. Connectivity is ok, but not hard to pass through someone else's signal. The reboot issue is extremely annoying. Crap device that should be replaced with something that works normally. My advice is "warning, prepare to be disappointed in more ways than one" . Never again. states it supports i finely got one to play if you call it that . it was jerky every voice was like it was lip sinked, like it just wasn't enough memory to open the extra pixels needed ( if they are truly there ). i read in this forum how can they sell rubbish like this , its easy there is no quality control in this country to much money to be made for the pollys import taxes then we pay gst on the item then list them on online sites at a cost deliveries costs and the list goes on.every time some one touches rubbish like this there is tax of some sort , fuel to come and get the returns and wages so on . if it wasn't for kogan tvs TNT would go into liquidation .if kogan doesn't sell them
some one else will.if i was a shipping magnate i would paint in massive letters on my ships kogan tvs aboard , you could sail the seven seas and not be harassed by pirates. like i said i inherited this from my son now i have disinherited him
.
Crap TV – Paid over $1200 for this tv and I don't know where to start with the list of things wrong with it. From day one it had a dead pixel, the colours are wrong as in movies I seen a 100 times I know what colour things are and wrong on this tv, the red saturated so bad and can't be changed the tv chanel listing doesn't work the date and time for our… Read more
zone keeps changing, and the picture glitches till you turn it off and back on. I could go on and on but in the end it's a crap tv.
Wish I had bought a better TV - not even 2 years old and failed twice! – OK, I admit it - I was suckered in by the 4K and 3D for $999 ... I was warned, but I didn't listen... /sigh. I was one of those people who swallowed the hype and pre-ordered this TV in March 2014 before it was released, so it didn't arrive for some months - May or June 2014 I think it was... Fast forward to February 2015 and it won't turn… Read more
on. Power board failure I was told. The returns service took weeks to muddle through, and I ended up delivering the TV to the repairer myself, but that's another story! Some weeks later it comes back, some time in March I think it was, and here we are again - less than 12 months later and it has more issues - turn it on, wait 20 seconds, KOGAN logo appears, screen flickers a few times and then goes black. Seems from the web that this is a "common" problem.
I've started another warranty claim, will see how it goes. Been waiting two days since I mailed them a video of the fault, not going to hold my breath! :(
Bit of an update - Sick to the back teeth of this TV I went out and bought a 65" Series 7 Samsung… Read more (+2 replies)
Such a painful TV to use, so many faults and issues – This TV was very disappointing to own and I can't wait to replace it. The biggest problem is when you turn it on, it doesn't show TV right away. You need to select a TV tuner app. The Android experience is horrible, slow, useless with the provided remote and do not think you will use the Smart TV features. The picture quality is decent,… Read more
but there are horrible colour tones when watching Channel 10.
Now, in terms of quality and customer service, its even worse.
I had 2 failing ports on my TV, so it was collected for repairs under warranty in Melbourne. The TV came back with a flicker, so it was then collected by Toll couriers, after I spent weeks looking for a box and packaging my TV.
I was told I would get a new replacement TV.
Then nearly 2 weeks later, the TV arrived in a tattered box. Outside my house on the street was the glass TV base, heavily damaged !
I photgraphed and complained and notified Kogan immediately, they asked me to open the box to check the serial number. After my protestations - I did not want to open the box for something I do not want to keep - I had a look inside at a messily packged and clearly used TV set, and recorded the serial number.
Then I was told Toll Couriers would come and collect my TV. But nothing happened for another week. So after my next complaint, I was told that Kogan may or may not be restocking this old model, so they need to discuss my case with managers.
This is garbage customer service.
Kogan just keep putting me through their little flow chart diagram, I feel like Im in a maze, and no progress is made.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !

The worlds leading falsely advertised TV – In short the screen works but everything else is broken. Apps don't work. None of them. They will freeze or crash or come up with random errors. If you log in to a social app it will start beeping periodically. That was a strange one. The remote provided with the television is tokenism - you need to buy another control to use it. spelling mistakes throughout the menus. It will freeze and reboot at random periods. It will have internet connectivity issues. Apps will not work. They will not support you if you complain as having a TV that is supposed to be able to run apps is the responsibility of the company the builds the apps. I built smart TV out of mash potato and sold it to some guy and I didn't have to answer his complaints because it was the app developers fault for not supporting my product. Easiest money I ever made.
They will not give you a refund if they can't replicate the fault. Unfortunately the faults are so random that this is like trying to catch sight of the back of your neck, or bottling a fart. You can not use the DLNA as it doesn't recognise devices on the network. The built-in TV guide will freeze, close, refuse to open and then be several hours out of sync. Did I mention that apps will not work? It is a very expensive mirror which can show some colours, for a while, if you press the right button. But so was my last TV.

Most Pleased – Purchased the 55" Kogan Ultra LED TV: It is every thing I wanted, a no frills unit with excellent image and sound. The unit was easy to set up for Foxtel and online services including IView, as well as supporting a Denon 5.1 sound system. It is also connected to a Blue Ray/VCR unit. Having compared picture quality of most lead brands this unit was excellent value at less than half the retail price. Could not fault support services.
Orange faces – Bought this TV from Kogan for $1000 and the people have orange faces, when I complained they took it away fro 6 weeks and it came back exactly the same. They took it away again for another 2 months and they have now told me that it is because the tv channels are not streaming in 1080p so the TV wont look good. They have informed me if I want my… Read more
TV back I will have to pay the collection and delivery charge. Here is what they told me in their email:
"Please inform customer that 4K TV is not suitable to view many TV
stations, as both quality and resolution of broadcasted channels is
too low. According to available information current HDTV resolutions in Australia
range from 576p, 720p to 1080p. Even 1080p FullHD video will be perceived
as lower quality when watched on 4K screen, because it was created for 1080 screen resolution, not 4K.
So if 4K TV receives low resolution signal (576p in worst case), it will
be upscaled and may be post-processed as well (for example blurred), resulting
in picture of very bad quality.
So now I have a TV that has orange faces and they say its not the TV its the channels. I think this is rubbish as my old TV which is HD 1080p and it does not have this problem. If the problem is what they say it is then they should not be selling them. They are refusing to replace the TV with another one, so I am unable to see if it is just the particular set that I bought or they all have this problem. However, if you buy from Kogan, beware because there after sales service is shocking. I am now seeking legal advice.
Awesome tv love it love it love it!!! – We are very happy with the size we chose. The picture is very crisp and clear and it is easy to use.
Kogan 55" Agora 4K Smark 3D LED TV – Having recently purchase a Kogan 55" TV, we are extremely happy with the quality of the TV. Excellent Value for Money and would recommend to anyone
