Bad battery short lived but it charges in 30 min – Overall I am least happy with the battery life which is often so short that phone have to be charged twice a day even I was using it as my secondary phone mostly for browsing and application. Show details

Pretty Rubbish phone, even worse warranty repairs – I bought one of these phones a year ago. Within 6 months the camera was malfunctioning. I contacted the Kogan returns department which was a pretty straightforward process. They emailed me out the relevant paperwork & I submitted the phone to them for an assessment. The assessment took about 4 weeks. They then informed me that the phone would be… Read more

repaired, this took another 3 weeks. When I received the phone back the camera worked fine but the bottom edges of the phone were not aligned correctly. Its as if the phone hadn't been slotted together correctly. There are no external fixing screws I could see so it seems to be snapped together and possibly glued

Today, about 4 months or so after I received the phone back from warranty repair, the whole touch screen has come away from the body...In my opinion, based upon my experience with this product it is not worth the money. You would be better off buying a cheapy. The build quality is suspect, the returns process is slow, the repair quality is dreadful...will never buy another item from this brand again

You get what you pay for - Somewhat reasonable, Poor camera – I've had this phone since June 2019. The battery overheated when charging while turned on after having it only a week - it still works but battery life diminished from them (and it still tends to overheat) so take care. In the last month, the screen has completely come away - possibly as a consequence of overheating. Again, it still works… Read more

although the screen at times unresponsive. I'm waiting for some glue to repair it. I was pretty happy with it's performance overall apart from the camera which is extremely poor, particularly the video which is very grainy. It runs on Android 8.1 and today went to update - other phones now up to Android 10, but this one says my 8.1 is the latest update. If I had paid more, I would rate it lower, but for the price it's OK... The lesson for me is you generally get what you pay for...

Very poor quality – Had the kogan agora xs for a couple of months now always kept in the recommended protection case and screen cover, phone fell from car holder in car and screen cracked, also the camera is rubbish unless you like blurry pics, phone seems very buggy at times will just open or close apps, aux plug doesn't work properly with earphones... definitely would not recommend this phone to anyone very poor qualityand make. Show details

Poor quality, not as advertised, full of bugs – I bought this phone specifically because it claimed to have a superior camera. This was a lie. The photos are blurry, even if taking pictures of non-moving objects. If you're trying to take a photo if your kid or anything that moves, forget it, it will be so out of focus you won't even be able to tell what you were taking a photo of. And the video… Read more

camera is even worse. Everything is blurry, it can't keep up with moving subjects so all you see is a big blur. There are some other little buggy issues also, such as the bluetooth and wifi disconnecting at random, apps closing for no apparent reason, sometimes the torch won't turn off etc And my biggest issue, 6 months after buying it, it has stopped working for no reason. The screen is black, nothing works. Biggest waste of money ever.

Major disappointment – Agora xs seemed like a good choice for a budget Android phone. I pre-ordered in December 2018. When I first got the phone it was functioning fine. The battery life of the phone is great and screen is quite nice to the eye. The problems started in week 2 of the ownership. Rear Camera stopped working. Have determined with customer support that the… Read more

issue is most likely a hardware issue. The other problem also came in week 2 when I finally had the need to use earphones. When the earphones or the auxiliary cable is plugged in the cable keeps popping out of the port. Just doesn't stay in which results in being unable to listen to music for longer than 10 seconds. Have spoken to customer support regarding getting it fixed under warranty but I simply cannot send the phone away for 1-2 weeks as it's a huge inconvenience. Will consider to get it refunded under faulty consumer law as soon I buy another phone

Phone is of very poor quality. Avoid it completely – I purchased the Phone, The screen Protector and the shock cover from Kogan. I had the phone on my knee and forgot when standing. This little 40cm drop in the "shock protection case" failed to protect the phone. I contacted Kogan and they are saying it is my fault yet there shock absorbsion cover failed to protect the phone from a 40 cm drop. The… Read more

screen detached from the phone. This demonstarates the poor protection of the absorbsion cover and the poor quality of the phone.

A V O I D – I have previously owned an Agora 6+ and it was great value and worked well. The Agora XS, though, is easily the worst phone I have ever owned. The OS is so buggy I have to reboot about six times a day. It wont even log in anymore. It is delicate and cracked on the third day. The camera is a joke. Kogan have really let themselves down with this useless waste of money. Show details

Good phone but Hotspot does not share internet – The phone has a lot to offer with facial recognition, fingerprint scanner, great resolution, above average cameras and plenty of memory space. It looks nice and is easy to use. The BIG problem is it does not share the internet in the hotspot connection. That means the other devices like a tablet or laptop can not connect. This is a basic function… Read more

of even cheap phones. The tech help could not fix it (and could not find the problem. This is the reason my recommendation is do not buy!

Phone does everything... fast and reliable – Phone operates on all Australian frequencies for Vodafone, Telstra and optus problem free. The phone is fast, easy to read and responsive. Fingerprint reader works first time, every time and the wireless charging very effective. Highly recommend this phone Show details

Great value for moneu – I'm happy with the Agora XS. Large screen, good quality build, robust and full featured. I was surprised expecting it to be another budget cheapie. Great camera resolution. Some folks say that Kogan's support is a pain to deal with, but that's not what I've found in previous dealing so I'm pretty relaxed about that. Show details

Mobile phone – The phone looks good, but we found it NOT to be user friendly, especially the dual sim card setup, it's so easy to damage the sim card when you insert or remove it, and when you do, contacting Kogan is no fun, you'll need plenty of patience. There doesn't appear to be any space for a memory card in this phone. The camera is quite good though, BUT… Read more

the sim card problem lets it down, and as it's a mobile phone first, this is a setback. Alright, we're not really computer savvy, but it should be designed with people like us in mind, that is, easy to use and setup.
