The Kogan 1000w is good machine with a fine suction with loud noise, it is heavily over weight and found to be too hard to manoeuvre, the brush container is very wide and chunky makes it hard to slide under furnitures. switch a bit weak, canister small, overall, 4 stars due to the low price of $89.00. Tried to edit my review on Kogan as I was not finished and accidently touched enter, not available so here I am, true to be told I think they lied about the rrp of $209.99 more like $129.99 that my 2 bobs worth.
Great powerful suction – I love this machine first vaccume I've ever had that sucks up dirt even very fine dirt it does suck up it has lost no suction power and is still going strong the only thing I don't like is the little wheel underneath falls off when picking the vaccume up off the ground but I love how tough the vaccume is and hope they never take it off the market… Read more
very good strong suction that hasn't faded over time not like old conventional vaccumes it's a good build not good 4 sucking up larger objects but then no vacume is intended 4 that anyway I have had it for 3 years and have used it constantly have not needed too replace any parts it's great next I'm going too buy the spot cleaner shampooer bye kogan because I'm so impressed with the build off this item fantastic price best buy ever easy too clean the parts highly recommended tough durable and usefully very easy too assemble and maintain tough as great machine best buy ever

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH !!!! – We bought one, received it, used it for 5 minutes and clips and springs fell off the underside ... contacted Kogan and in fairness to them, customer service was great - they said keep it ( like we wanted to ?? ) and they'd send out a new replacement which they did. one" .... any way it arrived and works, does the job it's designed for but pretty ordinary. The head swivels all around which is great as per design however if you wasn't to "remove the head" to vacuum, say the car seats or carpet, the bottom underside of the head still sucks so if you sit in on the lawn or driveway, it sucks up all the dirt and then throws it out of the gaping hole left where the suction hose has come out ... flops around and when you plug it back in, it doesn't seat or seal at all so all the dust and pet hair flies out the gap filling the air with the very nasty's you're trying to clean up and remove. Not the best on thick heavy pile rugs, sounds like it's inhaling itself and waiting to explode. Works great on hard surfaces like tiles and timber / laminate but pretty ordinary on carpet in the car. For the noise it makes, we would think it would suck a little better than it does. Yeah I'd never buy one again in a hurry !!!
Works So well – Been after an upright Vacuum for a while. Found this Kogan online for a very good price. Works so well on the carpet. Suction is powerful. Easy to clean and maintain. Cord needs to be held so that it doesnt get caught underneath while you are using it. Show details
Good for value – Pro: light weight easy to push, feel like my kids toy, works great on carpets, ridiculous size bin. Con: light weight but also also feel fragile, very short hose and none retractable cable. Show details
Does the job – Got this vacuum as my Dyson died and customer service was not that great. Cant afford new Dyson so found this. Works great did floors easy to push has great suction for the price. Although rather small feels like toy. Show details
