Easy to use for the elderly once its set up – The quick start guide which came with the phone isnt any good unless you can read microscopic text, so small it doesnt even look like writing lol, but I did find a larger version on the internet, at https://www.manualslib.com Search for "Konka Group FP1 phone" not the F21 because both phones are made by konka and both have exactly the same… Read more ·  1

features, and all controls are the same as well because they are the same phone, just have different versions in different countries. There is an option to download it in PDF form after you do a captcha to prove you're a human. My 104yr old mother is vision impaired but needs a phone for emergencies. It has an SOS feature that you can put another phone number into it so when pressed, it rings that number immediately. It was cheap and easy to use once I got the manual and is ideal for somebody that only wants to make or recieve calls or send messages, although it does have radio, camera, speaker phone and bluetooth also.

Not a bad phone – I'm 50+ and bought this phone to downgrade from a smart phone. Since it doesn't rely on data I switched to a cheaper $10 per month sim plan. I've found that I can read the messages without my glasses because the font is really big. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: Its cheap to buy. It has an SOS button you can set to call multiple numbers (handy… Read more

if in a car accident). It has a voiced keypad. It has bluetooth. It has a good battery. It's so small it can easily fit in your pocket. It has a good battery. It has a convenient charging cradle. Cons: You can't disable the voice on the keypad. I haven't found an option to change the ring tone. The user manual is tiny. The website given in the manual for help and support no longer works. I can't find a larger manual on the internet. Storage is tiny and does not come with an SD card.

Despite the cons I've listed, I am quite happy with the phone. It's well built, reliable, and does what I need it to do which is to make and receive calls, and send and receive messages.

No good for Seniors! – I bought it for a disabled 93 year old, but can't set it up because I can't read the tiny and poorly printed users instruction booklet. There does not seem to be a larger copy on the internet either. It was only for calls only use but need to set to speaker for that because deafness is a problem here too!

Do not buy this phone absolute rubbish – Receives messages but there is no option to read them. Supposed to be designed for the elderly but manual is so small you need a very strong magnifying glass to read it. Only wanted to make and receive calls and texts very disappointed. Show details

Few issues but I would buy again – Bought this for my mum as she can’t have smartphones due to shaking. So far happy with it and I would buy this phone again. Here is a list of Pros and Cons so far. CONS - Only has 3 alarms you can set which is annoying as my mums needs 4 for her meds. (Unless Konka can tell me different) Had only 2 choices each for ringtone and the message… Read more

tone unless you add them yourself which I haven’t worked out how to do yet. To add a contact or messaging you have to click on box, pick contact, press options then press ok. That could be simplified. Couldn’t get radio to work to local stations.

I turned the SOS feature off so my mum didn’t press it when she opened the phone as it’s on the side.

PROS- Sound is good for the price. Has a led light if a call or message has been missed. Camera is good for the price. Good battery life. The keypad is good for elderly. Bluetooth easy to pair. Torch work well. Charger stand is great. Internet worked fine, very basic.
