I wouldn't bother with this one – As much as I wanted to love this carrier, I have to say this is probably the worst one that I have tried (and I have tried a fair few!). I loved the concept of it being worn like a t-shirt, and the simple design and neutral colours made it all the more appealing. However, I found the material to be poor quality and uncomfortable. Definitely not a… Read more

carrier for someone with a larger bust. My biggest issue would have to be how low baby sits in the carrier; it certainly does not appear to be safe for the baby. Based on what I have read regarding any carrier, babies should sit high enough that you can kiss their forehead quite easily and this carrier definitely does not tick that box - even images displayed on their website and social media pages show the babies to be sitting far too low. I would not recommend this carrier at all.

0 stars – This product is not suitable for women with large busts and small waist/hips. On top of this, their customer service is rubbish and unhelpful. After I followed their online sizing suggestion, the item received was far too large. When I contacted Konny direct, I completed a different sizing quiz which determined another size was more appropriate.… Read more

They would not accept ownership of this discrepancy which meant I was out of pocket $32 to return the item that was too large. Do not recommend

Impossible to size yourself. All sizes are extremely small – Good idea, bad sizing. There’s not a large difference between sizes which means you will need to SIZE UP 2 maybe 3 sizes.the website recommends sizing down which is not accurate at all. I wear a size small to medium in clothes, my son is 3 months and the large was way too tight for us. Show details

Way too small - size guide is not accurate – I just received this item. It is way too small if you have large breasts. I completed the size guide questionnaire and even spoke with a consultant through the chat and was told to get a size S. I was sceptical about the size but was reassured multiple times that this would be correct. It is way too tight, no way I can even get my baby in it, it… Read more

barely fits my breasts!

Now I have to return it, shipping with tracking at my own cost, and wait for a refund.

Would not recommend.

Can't be used if you've got large breasts – I ordered medium to make sure I got a size that was bigger (would be a xs or s if I followed the website sizing). I can't put baby in myself because I've got bigger breasts from breastfeeding. Even with help he barely fits as a newborn. Wait until your baby is born and if you're breastfeeding with larger breasts than don't bother on this, or get a cheap secondhand to trial Show details

Difficult to wear and fit baby into – I bought this as I thought it would be easier than using a regular baby wrap carrier. I found this more difficult to put my baby into as you have to put the baby in and then wrap the sash around you and the baby, without the baby falling out. It is very difficult to keep the baby's head close to you and try to tie the sash around you at the same… Read more

time. I have also found that with a newborn, the Konny doesn't appropriately support my baby's head as the sash is quite thin and the cross body straps also don't cover my baby's body and support her neck at the same time. The other problem is the sizing as it only fits one person (or if you and your partner are the same size, then it will suit you both) and it is possible to be between sizes which means it will either be too tight to get the baby in, or too loose and not secure the baby correctly. The Konny could work if you are lucky enough to fit perfectly into a particular size and it is probably more appropriate for an older baby who at least has some head control.

light and comfortable and easy to use – initially purchased for my husband as he couldn't work out the many straps and buckles of the regular type baby carrier. once we got it was very simple to put bub into it and bub feels very secure. the only reason for 4 star was because this is strictly for the one person to use and not adjustable....but since its affordable we got one for hubs and one for myself.... no regrets. we just ordered based on the measurements provided on their website Show details

Risk of the carrier not fitting at all and having to pay for international shipping to return it – I was really interested in this baby carrier as it was advertised as being more simple to use than the usual baby wraps (eg boba, moby that comes in a long cloth that I have to tie around myself). Konny was meant to be worn as a garment (like a T-shirt) that comes in a pre-sewn shape so you do minimal tying. Now the huge downside of this is that… Read more

because it is like a garment that fits you, you will have to order a specific size of the carrier instead of tying it to suit your body shape/comfort. The Konny website also states you cannot share this carrier with your partner (unless of course the both of you are the same size).

Konny has an online calculator on their website to determine what size carrier you should order. They calculate your carrier size based on your weight and height. Now this is where my issue with Konny is. I used their calculator, put in my weight and height and was told that I should order size M. Since it is their online calculator and the size they recommend for me, of course I had no reason to doubt them. Very unfortunately, when the carrier arrived, it was too tight (since you have to wear it like a tshirt and tuck your baby in it too). Note: my weight usually is quite stable and stays within a kilogram. I had even picked the higher number when using the Konny calculator.

My experience with their customer support was not the best. I pointed out that through no fault of my own (they recommended this size to me), the item was too small. However they refused to pay for return shipping back to them (and we all know how expensive shipping an item overseas is) and made it sound like it was my fault for following their instructions and recommendations. I think they should have taken some responsibility for telling me that I was the wrong size.

I have also since found a few Konny carriers on facebook marketplace being sold because they were too small. I guess the cost of buyers shipping the carrier back to Konny in Korea is not worth it/too high.

I would say if this was an Australian company, it would be a safe option. However, the risk of getting the wrong size is high and if something goes wrong, the buyers are not protected and have to ship the item internationally back to Konny at their own cost. If you are happy to pay $80-90 for the carrier and then risk having to spend another $40-$50 to return it, than it is ultimately your choice. I am very disappointed that Konny is not taking any responsibility for giving consumers the wrong information and telling them the wrong size to buy. If you still want to buy from them, please take their recommendation with a grain of salt.

For these reasons, I would not recommend Konny and I hope there will be people who will have learnt from my downfall.
