is 1 item or sleeve, as my son believed he was purchasing 3 pairs he only received 3 sleeves and not 3 pairs. Below is the email I received from the business

We understand that in many parts of the world, including Australia, a pair typically refers to two matching items that together make up a pair. In our product description, when we use the term "pair" for our Plantar Fasciitis sleeve, we are referring to two individual sleeves that are designed to be used together for both feet. We acknowledge that this may differ from the conventional understanding of a pair in some regions.

It seems that this company their description of a pair is only one sleeve or sock and not two. So when he ordered 2 pairs which in anyone's terms would be 4 items ( 2 pairs) the company actually sent him 2 items sleeves meaning to them 2 pairs, I did point out to the company that in the American Collins dictionary a pair is defined as 2 things matching that are used together, for an example, shoes, earrings or socks. The companies descriptions are deceptive and improper there responses to my emails were about as clear as mud and in the end sarcastic with the remark from them in Thanks for your understanding.
