below average performance – This juicer is no better than a good Domestic Juicer but double the price. I am extremely disappointed in mine purchased just in Dec 2023. My domestic Beville Cold Press works as well if not better. Lid on the Kuvings is very tight to open, in fact I have had to use an extra pair of hands to hold and twist on several occasions. When I raised… Read more
this in am email to Kuvings I received a patronising email telling me opening the lid is a learn curve and maybe I need some Zoom training. I'm sorry but if you need to offer Zoom training to open the lid of your juicer there is a problem right there. Save the $$$ but a good domestic unit. Even if you have to replace in a year or 2 you will still be better off.
Excellent, one of my favourite gadget in kitchen – Recommend this for anyone looking for a good quality juicer. I make celery and green apple juice Almost everyday for past 18 months. Juice is perfect composition, extracted very well. Quick to assemble and wash. Very less sound as well. Amazing product. Each time I use it I thank myself for buying this juicer. Show details
Hard to undo – Juicer makes nice drinks and quiet to use, but it is the hardest machine to put together and undo I avoid using it I would not commend it for this reason Show details
Best juicer! – Extracts lots of juice leaving minimal waste. It make cold pressed juice so maximum nutrients extracted without losing any through heat. Lots of bits that can be hard to clean (especially the wire mesh) but overall we love it! It is expensive but worth it if you juice alot. Show details
This Machine Is So Quiet, – I love this Kuvings Cold Press, not only looks great and work well,Its so quiet and you can hear the apples crunching as they get dragged down the feeder tub,It also works well just about all fruits & veggies,Burgandy was my choice of colour (looks great) Also came with the Ice-Cream & Smoothie attachment,I find it easy to clean as well. Amazing, very, very happy with it – Love the juicer. Have juiced everything in the fridge from Spinich leaves to ginger. Not loud at all and a neat size to have on the kitchen bench. As soon as I finish juicing I take it apart and rinse the bits and pieces under the tap. Then I leave it to soak in soapy water till I finish drinking my juice. By the time I get to it, it's pretty… Read more
clean. I use the back of the cleaning brush (oversized toothbrush) supplied with the unit to clean out any pulp that may be left in the spout.
No juicer is easy to clean, let's be honest. They are all a pain in the neck, but I find this no more annoying than any other juicer I've had, and somewhat better.
I use it daily and am very pleased with the amount of juice it produces from the fruit/vegetables.
I have also made banana and kiwi fruit sorbet in it and that was amazing. Quick, easy and tasted lovely. A really nice creamy dessert in seconds. Just added frozen fruit to the blank strainer and away I went. It means I can now freeze fruit that I think might go off in a few days instead of rushing to eat it or throwing it out.
I thoroughly suggest READING the booklet that comes with it. In particular it says to place things like carrots and ginger to soak in water before juicing. I did this with the ginger and there was no issue with gritty bits that can happen with other juicers. It was completely smooth. Of course you don't HAVE to do this, but it is recommended.
So far I have juiced spinich leaves, celery, (chopped in small pieces as per recommendations), cabbage, kiwi fruit, pears, apples, beetroot, carrots, lemons, yellow pepper, cucumber and kale. I've not had an issue with clogging or yield. It is also recommend to let the juicer do its thing. Don't use the pusher except to push things past the safety clip allow gravity to do it's job. Alternate the vegetables/fruit as you go and do it slowly.
Reading the booklet and watching some good youtube videos on how to use the juicer is the key I think to avoiding some of the issues some people seem to be having.
