L'Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss 316 Plum Questions & Answers
VerifiedI’ve ordered plum and I’ve got prune (horrible name !) it’s the same number but different make up will it come out in the same colour as plum
can you advise if plum 316 has been replace/renamed prune 316 if so are they same hair dye finish as a little unsure and need an answer before I commit Regards Christine
I only found this out last night and while AI says it's the same it is not. Plum has 120586 Crème Colourant and Prune has 1205077 Crème Colourant so not the same at all. Why they are giving it the same number is so wrong as it is no the same!
All the other colours are darker and not true to what they depict. I wont be buying it again.
Is prune same as plum,iv ordered plum 3 times from different suppliers & received prune

Why has plum 316 changed to prune 316 and is it the same colour? I have used plum for years and have been very happy with it. Prune sounds an awful name if it is the same colour.

Hi, I have used the Plum 316 L,Oreal casting creme tonight (a product and colour I have used for years) and found it full of gritty pebbles. I didn't notice this when I applied the product, but when I went to wash it off in the shower, my hair was full of the gritty pebbles. I checked the leftover product and it did feel gritty. I have never experienced this before and I am feeling a bit anxious as I wonder if the product is faulty and may cause me health problems. Has anyone else had this problem? At this point, I would be very reluctant to use the product again.
I have been using L'Oreal casting creme for years and have never had a problem with it, but tonight when I used the Plum 316 (the colour I've used for years), I found it full of grit (little balls) when I went to wash it off in the shower. I didn't notice it through the gloves when applying it, but when I felt some that was left over, it was definitely gritty. I have never experienced this before and it made me a bit anxious about whether there is a problem with the product. Has anyone else had this problem?
I have used Loreal casting crem burgundy 316 instead of turning my brown hair into burgundy it turned black
My hair has been coloured dark brown, can I use 316 Plum to change the colour tone? Or I have to bleach first then apply 316 plum?
If i used plum a month ago ... can i use a light brown like caramel?? Thank you !!!
Hey ya Jose!! Plum is a super strong color. The purple pigment will defiantly show through light brown. Hold off as long as you can. Let the plum fade. Any light shade you try won't be a true color for you. That purple will interfere!! Mel
