L'Oreal Paris Excellence Crème 6.1 Light Ash Brown Questions & Answers
VerifiedIt's a gud for Grey hair coverage?
I am a natural dark blonde with bleached highlights. I want to go back to my natural or a little bit darker (dark blonde/light ash brown). Can I use 6.1 without getting green hair?
The color as depicted on the box is exactly as your hair will turnn out. I also had bleached highlights. This color was perfect. No, it had no green shades. Sometimes, chemicals in your wash water might cause this issue. My own well water has rust, and it does not discolor my hair.
Will a light ash brown neutralize the red tones in my hair? Or will a medium ash brown do a better job?
I have purchased a L'Oreal 6.1 light ash blond hoping to lighten my dark brown,i have tried using a light brown(expecting the colour result on the back of the box but ended up with dark brown/ red hair..what colour result should i hopefully get? thanks:)
Greetings, In my opinion this product is not "strong" enough to lighten hair. I had previously lightened hair and the color turned out exactly as pictured on the box, a very nice soft ash light brown. However, it did not cover my grey hair roots. Which is why I believe the chemical composition is not the right strengh to change any color. Use another "permanant" product that contains ammonia, or have it colored by a colorist. God luck!
Have you changed the formula, I've used loreal excellence for year's and now it's not covering the grey? The formula was different and the tube top wasn't the same?
Same problem for me.
Same problem for me.
Same for me, plus it smells terrible and has wrecked the condition of my hair. The old formula was much better!
Will Loreal 6.1 go over yellow hair. It has been dyed red then blonded and has gone yellow?
I dyed my hair Red then blonde to tone the red it is now yellow can I use the Ash Brown to get rid of the yellow?
I'm not a hair expert, I just use their products at home. Maybe best to call their help line number for their professional advice.
I use this colour but my hairs from roots go to Chang but not all the colour of my hairs are black, what I have to do?
I use the darker colour medium frosted brown and it blends with both the white roots and the dark hairs. Maybe that colour is too light if you have black hair.
