ALDI Lacura Face Care Aqua Depot All Day Moisturiser

Kind on Sensitive Skin – Aside from its obvious value for money, this cream in my experience actually works, is an excellent moisturiser and is non-irritating to ageing or sensitive skin. Everyone's skin is different and it may take years to find the right cream for your skin type. In over 6 years of occasional to moderate use, I've not had an adverse reaction. (Yes, even males sometimes need to moisturise!)

Compared with other dearer products - like eg QV Face Day Cream SPF 30 - the Aldi alternative provides near similar quality, is long lasting as it can be used sparingly and is thus easy on the hip pocket.

Well done Aldi; let's hope they keep making this really good product available in Australia.

Better than any other luxury brand – I have been using Aldi skin care for a couple of years, and am now on the Cuvee range. My skin is well hydrated and clear. This is the best range ever, and I cannot fault it. Have tried many others over the last 50 years, and when I see the money wasted on those, I get angry. If you start a new product you should patch test it first in a small area. Don't knock Aldi products, they are a lifesaver towards a healthier bank account.

Inexpensive and effective – I use the Aldi Lacura "Aqua Depot". I have sensitive skin and it gets very dry during winter. I've tried lots of moisturisers and this one is my favourite. The scent is inoffensive. It's consistency is thin enough to get into all the little wrinkles. I have no problems with allergic reactions to this product and I rub it onto my eyelids as well! It doesn't leave my fingers/hands feeling greasy after rubbing it onto my face. It works! It works well! Not sure how it rates for price but it doesn't seem too costly. The range can be confusing.

Allergic reaction to Aldi Lacura Aqua Depot – Today I got an allergic reaction to the product and it looked like I was sunburnt. Looking to hear from anyone who has had an allergic reaction. I have used the product before but this time I felt very hot and looked in the mirror and it was as though I had been sunburnt Allergic reaction

Great new product – About a month ago a new lady started at work. None of us could believe it when she said she was 47 years old. When she said "Well, that $10 Aldi moisturiser must be working", we all made a mental note to stop at Aldi that night. She said she has been using Aqua Depot for about a year and the new serum, "Renew" I think it's called. That one has been sold out every time I've been there, after if was shown on one of the 6:30 shows. The Aqua Depot I love, though. Very light, absorbs easily, added sunscreen and perfect under foundation. Sensational. Like her though I found the night cream too rich and thick, even though I have very dry skin. Lacura make several other products and I intend to try them all. This will be my brand of choice now. Cheap, nice packaging, quality product. Hard to find, sells out fast.
