Whilst the cream feels great to put on, within a few minutes my eyes start stinging. I thought it was me and the way I am applying it so I have persisted on and off for months but it still does it. My eyes sting like they do from swimming in chlorine or salt water eventually weeping and it lasts all day, even if I wash my face completely my eyes still sting, despite avoiding my eye area. I’m at a loss Show details

Horrible Smell – It smells horrible! Every time I use it, I feel disgusted by the smell. It smells like vomit or washing left overnight. Never again :( Show details
To be avoided – Not sure what’s in this cream but after about an hour, my eyes were watering and irritated so much that I could not keep them open. How is this product still on the shelves? Show details
A heavy over fragrance and chemical taste – I love my Eucerin Day and Night creams but I have to order from iherb so I thought I'd try aldi as I recall people saying great things. Unfortunately this cream is so overbearing in the fragrance. I applied 5 min ago and I can barely breathe through the strong chemical fragrance now stuck on my face. I want to wash it off. I also got a little on… Read more
my lip, which I tasted and - ugh - the chemical taste is so bad! I can't help but feel like I have been poisoned. ALDI - please - consumers want natural, unscented healthy products. This is so bad. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 as the moisturizer effect isn't terrible, not a sorbolene type cream. But destroyed by the chemical fragrance. Ugh. Next morning : I have a foul smell and I can't figure out what it is. I realise the fragrance from the cream has fermented somewhat overnight leading to an awful smell.
Bad irritation overtime – If you've plucked it's instant irritation and peeling like a burn. It's been weeks. Other parts of my face that were not broken in any way, now are starting to have same reaction. Do not recommend! Especially on sensitive or freshly plucked skin. Show details
Be careful about choosing to use Aldi skincare!! – I’m an advocate for all Aldi products EXCEPT skincare. I do not have sensitive skin and for 30+ years I have used so many different types of creams/serums/masks etc from different brands. NEVER have I had a reaction like this, or experienced such burning of the skin. Luckily I had raw Aloe Vera so after applying that continuously all evening the… Read more
pain decreased. Still red the next day but no longer painful. I should have looked at the ingredients!!

Keep the money in your purse! Useless product! – I bought this jar of Lacura Revitalise Night Cream from Aldi about 6 months ago. It was my first purchase of one of the many "get rid of wrinkles" creams. I thought, 'what the heck, if it doesn't work, I've only lost $10.00'. I was right. It didn't work :) What should I of expected from something that was only $10.00, right? :) The jar says… Read more
-When used regularly, Lacura Revitalise Night Cream optimises the skin's structure, improves skin elasticity, & helps to reduce fine lines. The skin appears fresh, revitalised & radiant.
After using it for 6 months under my eyes, I've noticed no improvement in skin elasticity, my fine lines/wrinkles are still the same, & my skin doesn't look any more fresh, revitalised, or radiant now, than it did 6 months ago.
This morning, I got sick of looking at this jar (which still had a lot of cream left in it) & I binned it. What a great feeling that was! :)
I haven't given up. I may try a more expensive one soon, such as Age Perfect or Revitalift Laser x3, from L'Oreal. I'll be looking at reviews of these with much interest, in the coming days.
I suppose that with these creams, the old saying 'you get what you pay for', is true.
** Do what I do - I use Nivea Soft on my face. Underneath my makeup & at nite after my shower. Couldn't be happier with it. Been using it for years. (See my review)**
Incredible Results!!!! – It is perfect, I bought at Aldi, I look like I am 35, and I am actually 50, it is incredible! You have to go buy this, I want more Lacura Products! I am serious, it is PERFECT for stubborn or problematic skin types! years old ( see my pic on my profile), I am telling you it is wonderful! My skin feels wonderful, the small lines have diminished and my makeup looks great! If you are ever in question about how a moisturizer works put on your makeup and if you are getting a look of cracks after an hour then HEY you need to moisturize more and with the correct one! Its that simple! I recommend Lacura as it is affordable and wonderful to your skin. Remember if it has Retin-A soft areas around the mouth nose and eyes are a No-No. Treat the correct areas and use a non Retin-A cream around the small areas. Lacura has many to choose from! Thanks, Keep the skin that you are in Happy & Hydrated!
Absolutely Devine Night Cream – Well done ALDI on stocking the Lacura brand from Germany. I have been super impressed by this product line this far. My absolute favourite product from Lacura is the Renew Q10 Night Cream. I have used many night creams and day creams in previous years and being young with combination skin I've never been after anything too seriously heavy but… Read more
still have wanted a cream that will leave my skin with a nice soft touch. That is exactly what the renew cream did for me. It's the perfect consistency, it makes me skin feel super soft (lasting too) and it smells lovely. Reminds me of a fresh linen smell. In my opinion it's better than any designer brand I've tried in the past! I've spend $80 on night creams before and hated them. This product is super good value for money. Will definitely continue using it! It's perfect for someone in their 20s - late 30s who wants a really good anti aging starter. Velvet touch, soft, inexpensive, lasting, thick (but not too thick)

Eye Cream that works! – I recently tried the Lacura Revitalise Pro-Restructuring Eye Cream. I took before and after photos and was so impressed with the results. Within a few days of using the crows feet and expression creases under my eyes had considerably diminished. I have tried over 15 different eye creams. I am 56 years old and this has given me the best results by… Read more
far. I believe this cream contains an ingredient called Majestem which promotes firmness and anti sagging.
What an amazing night cream. I love it – I used the revitalist night cream for the first time last night and when I woke up this morning my skin felt lovely. I even got a positive comment from my beautician this afternoon. I do have very dry skin and have always looked after it, using just about everything. I am pleasantly surprised by this cream to be honest. I have read many… Read more
reviews on this site and obviously there are varying views. Of course there are negative ones and I was amazed at some of the comments. This cream really is meant for mature/dry skin so I would not recommend it for anyone with oily skin. The smell doesn't bother me at all and soon wears off. Well done Aldi, this is beautiful on my skin. I will be trying the day cream tomorrow.
Aldi Night Renew Expert moisturising cream, red and black packaging – Creamy, nourishing, gentle on my skin, well priced. Works really well for me, have enjoyed using this cream for years. Complements Aldi Day Renew Expert moisturising cream in the red and black packaging really well. Show details

Disappointed with the plastic bottle – Well, I loved the serum in the glass bottle... have had to resort to the one in the plastic bottle which is disappointing... am hoping it is the same serum. Bring back the glass bottle, please. It is one of the pluses of the product. [Hard to rate at the moment given I haven't tried it but could not submit without a rating.]
Burned my skin – Wish I'd read the 1* reviews & not the default 5*s. Used thus at night. The following morning my eyes were swollen & my skin was red & covered with a bad rash. Took days to subside! Do not use without a patch test! Having read the low star reviews am at a loss to understand why there hasn't been a product recall / warning Show details
Do not use – Used the day and night cream one day and my face is red, swollen and burnt. Do not buy and do not use these products. 3 days later and my Face is horrendous and feels tight and as if it is on fire. Show details

Good doesn’t have to be expensive! – Have used very expensive night creams over years - the Lacura brand from Aldi is better than any of them by far - highly moisturising and not highly perfumed ( if any) - a really good product at a low price Show details
Disappointed – I have been using the Revitalise Intensive Serum for mature skin for so long now and i love it, i can't find it in Aldi anymore?? They went from a glass bottle to plastic but it still did a great job, very disappointed they have discontinued it. I am going on 67 and everyone has commented on my skin so now i am at a crossroad as to what will be as good if not better. Show details
Stings my eyes beyond belief – I have tried and tried to persist with this cream but it has something in it that just makes my eyes sting and stream with tears. The effect of the reaction lasts for hours and hours even if I am careful to put it just around my forehead, cheeks and neck. I have had to throw it away. Show details
Hated the crean – I rubbed small amount under my eyes. And instant burning. My eyes swelled and closed up. Burned so bad. Had to flush with water. Used several creams and this is the first problem I had with creams. The cheap creams like ponds and oil o lay didn't do this!! Waste of money!!! Threw it in the garbage! This product was perfect for me BUT: – Disappointing that I cannot purchase this product again. Tried it once and found it suited me more than any other similar product but when I went to purchase it again it is not available on any Aldi or other website I have extensively searched. Show details

Causes allergy – Not sure what is in this cream but made my eyes stream and gave me a runny nose , took me a while to figure out it was the face cream so sadly had to stop using it Show details
Burnt my skin – This cream burnt my skin pretty badly. Under and around my eyes and near my mouth. Skin swelled and cracked and peeled off. Quite painful. Not sure which ingredient I had an allergic reaction too but can see others had the same experience. Show details
I broke out in a red rash. My face feels sun burnt – I only applied a small amount on my face and neck, and it all came up red, sore (similar to sunburn). Also small bumps on my face. So weird. I dont have sensitive skin at all. Its been well over 12 hours since i applied it (and removed it) and my skin is still red and hot to touch. Show details
Warning this causes hives, swelling, and burns – First day I used this my face became covered in hives, red rash like burns, swollen face and neck. My face has still not recovered yet after 2 days not using it. Show details
Tried this product once, so bad my eyes were very itchy and red. Did not apply this to my eye area either – Had very itchy eyes once I had applied this cream. Sore and red Show details
Terrible allergy to this product – Terrible allergy to this product. After one use of this product I woke next morning with a swollen face. Took anti histamines during the day and ice packs. Itchy red rash. Show details
Had to stop using – I can't state whether the cream improved my skin and wrinkles as I stopped using it after a few days. Not long after applying the cream my eyes started to sting really bad. Washing my eyes didn't help so I just had wait until the stinging wore off, and that took a couple of hours at least. I tried again just in case it was something else I was using. No it was definitely the Lacura. Never had reaction to any products before. Show details
Formula changed – Lacura day and night cream were my favorite go to creams. They have been ideal but last night I went and purchased more only to find the formula has changed Show details
So terrible, I have *never* had a reaction to any beauty products before – The problem only kicked in after I took it off as I went to bed - my face was inflamed and now, the day after is a very very ugly red all o ver
