Great Looking car - Fuel consumption for a 2 litre car is horrible – The car comes with a huge 83 Litre Tank get about 600km per fill - however specs by Range Rover suggest combined consumption is 7.8 litres

Terrible Car Brand new stopped working in 53 days – Bought brand new 2021 velar 1 oct 2021 . i used that car for 53 days and problems started the day first. When the car arrived on 1/10/2021 it had full scratches from inside and outside First day we realised the car had no auto lock working and a few times with the phone connectives as well(faulty) . second day we realise Again no smart remote access in car, I called charlie to inform all this issue and Gippsland requested to fix this issues later on). After sometime later I made follow up calls may be 10 to 15 calls and few emails till four weeks -No updates. we ignore all this , though there would be some minor issues. On 21st NOV 2021 the car started showing problems with air conditioning and the window wasn’t working. On 23th Nov 2021 the car completely stopped working. where I called the roadside assistant to tow away at the Essendon range rover. Again I waited for a few more days where I didn’t get any updates on the car so I had to call the head office and check what was happening on my car . After that I received a call from the Essendon range rover, they had found a problem with battery and replace with new battery, but still car wasn’t work ,so need further diagnosed. So after a few days later I received a call again from the Essendon range rover for a second key request to drop at Essendon to do further check, they found major issues in car related securities and others. More than two months now no repair , no refund, no service . I spoken with JLRA(jaguar land rover Australia) , they ignore to replace new car or refund . JLRA told me that, contact to dealer regarding this matter . whenever i contact dealer (Gippsland range rover) Same answer i been giving to me contact JLRA, so I think no one is willing to make decisions or take responsibility. They made me fool since two months -Gippssland ranger dealer , Essendon ranger rover dealer ( my car seating for repair) and range rover Australia, head office none of them giving any appropriate answer.
I am paying every day $50 loan repayment for defective dead car. Please justified me , i am completely broken with behaviour from this dealership and head office. I thought i achieved my dream car but end up with stress and headache from range rover service. After I face from such issue , I have done research online and found Land Rover car is not genuine and out 100 cars , 132 issues raise by Customer . Which is terrible. Many customer raise issues that Land Rover never response to customer after they buy car.

Waste of money – Although the infotainment system is a beautiful look to my RR, The vehicle is beautiful; where as it is the most comfortable ride but it is an $120k piece of technological crap. Currently, over heating, leaking black oil, burning smell coming from the engine - yes, after servicing. Then took the Range Rover back to the dealership until the problems been fixed 4 weeks now, In 2 months it’s been returned 3 times staying at the dealer ship between 5-10 days each time ! And they push you around from one dealership to another blaming one another, So Range Rover why have Warranty ?? Range Rover Handling is not great. For the amount paid the not fare well in temperatures the engine runs great and feels extremely NOT SAFE AND UNHEALTHY ! Overall this the range rovers is really about the looks over the functions. Lots of things have gone wrong, DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY lucky it has factory warranty which has been used A LOT!

Velar = Poor media interface – I purchased a Range Rover Velar and a Land Rover Discovery this year. The velar media interface looks amazing but lacks practicality. if you want to use it, you will still need to pick up your phone to start applications, i.e. spotify, just to use the stereo. The police will love that! The interface is clunky and regularly has issues talking to my phone. I have been back to Land Rover for two updates and whilst the connectivity issues have improved, I am told I will never be able to activate something like Spotify or other applications from my two not state of the art touch screens in my dash, as this can only be done at factory. What a load of BS!! This is a $140,000 motor vehicle, and was informed that both vehicles would have the latest 2018 technology in it. what adds salt to the wound is that I purchased a company car from Ford 2 years ago for less than $30,000 which has an interface which you can start and operate applications like this from the dash. I should mention that unlike the velar, the Land Rover Discovery does these basic functions. I was of the knowledge they would both be the same, and there was no option provided to discern any difference. Range Rover, you have really let me down. How in the hell, do you release a vehicle of that value, in 2018 without this basic technology, which is available on a cheap phone or tablet? The drives nice by the way.
