A must have when breast feed – I could not live without this as breast feeding wasn’t easy for me and this heal me really well used it with both baby’s and this is a must have! Show details
Perfect lip balm/overnight lip mask – I use this product as a lip balm when I'm at home and put a thick layer on my lips each night before bed. I wake up and my lips are always moisturized and often there is still a film of lanolin on them. I would love to use this product during the day at work but I keep my lip balm in my pocket and it gets far to runny, I wish they would make it in… Read more
a stick! It's great value for money and comes in a small or large tube, the large tube lasts me well over 6 months. Sometimes when you first start a tube it can be a bit thick and white, I just squeeze that bit into a tissue so I'm not walking around with white lips. It should be clear and shiny. I've used it on dry/irritated skin and my sister even put a bit in each nostril to ease a sore dry nose. It's a very versatile product. It doesn't really have a smell as it's 100% lanolin and doesn't contain any additives.
Pros: Quality product Wears well - lasts hours No smell Value for money Available at most chemists
Cons: Gets a bit runny when warm
Life saver! – This worked so well! Life saver :) No point buying other products like gel and a silicon cooling pad to try and relief your sore cracked nipples. This is the perfect product that worked for me and saved me from all the pain when I was b/ feeding. I still wiped my nipples every time before breastfeeding as a piece of mind, even though it say's it doesn't need removing before feeding.

Would not recommend as a nipple cream – I used Lansinoh when breastfeeding for cracks/dry skin etc and found it took 3 days to heal using this cream and a nipple shield.. Next time I tried Medela nursing cream and i was healed after two applications! This product does work, but it takes a very long time. I wouldnt use this product if you need fast results due to pain. Very slow working
OK – I like that I can use this product and don't have to worry about wiping it off when feeding. It works well, but is quite expensive. Also, I just can't squeeze hard enough to get it out of the tube. I have to run the tube under hot water to loosen the contents before it will come out. It is winter, but I would have thought that this wouldn't… Read more
happen. Great product, works well. Is very hard to squeeze out of the tube, I had to get my husband to do it for me! Perhaps will be better in summer... Is quite expensive.
OK – I was given two tubes of Lansinoh before bub was born. Everyone was raving about it, so I guess I had fairly high expectations. I used it twice a day on cracked and sore nipples, but I don't know that I saw any major or drastic improvement in their condition. I think it probably helped with the dryness more than anything. Lansinoh assisted with… Read more
the dryness of the nipples. It is easy to apply and it didn't feel oily or greasy at all. It didn't really live up to my expectations, no drastic improvement for cracked nipples.

Lansinoh – A MUST have for any new or expecting mother's. Or anyone who is going to attempt to breastfeed. It soothes cracked and sore nipples quite effectively. Its a clear gel and has a texture like paw paw. If it wasn't for finding this product I would have given up on breastfeeding. Show details
A must have for every breastfeeding mother – My good friend who is a midwife recommended this to me when I had my first child. This is seriously a life saver for sore, bleeding cracked nipples! I wouldn't be able to breastfeed my child, and over one year, if it wasn't for this product! Now I use this for my second child as well. Essential product! Show details
Great soothing cream – I first used this product for a tatoo which I found that it healed my tattoo very quickly as my tattoo was on my foot i also found that it made my skin on my feet super soft and smooth now use it on hands over night This cream is actually for cracked nipples while breastfeeding
Keeps them moisturised – Used this when i first started breastfeeding, it kept my nipples super moisturised n helped with my cracking nipples. Midwife stated its fine to use whilst breastfeeding an wont harm the baby at all. Only need a small amount and the tube will last a while pregnancy which is also a bonus
EYELID RELIEF FINALLY – I have had trouble with rashed out eyelids for years :-( until I purchased Lansinoh lanolin, I have tried so many products to try and get some relief from this and low and behold this product worked wonders almost instantly. I was skeptical at first due to my normally being allergic to products containing lanolin, but this pure form has does… Read more
wonders for me, if you are having trouble with allergies around your eyes (including eyelids) PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE give this stuff a try, I guarantee you WILL NOT be disappointed. GOOD LUCK !!!!!!! Works wonders, only need a very small amount, easy to obtain from pharmacies anywhere....
Worked a treat! – This cream got me through my first weeks of breastfeeding. Honestly feel I may not have made it without it! I got only a few cracks here and there when bub frenzy fed but after putting this on it wa a nice relief and they healed up quickly. I tried the whole breast milk on nipple thing but didnt feel it did enough. Would definately recommend it! Soothing, reliable, fast acting Exy but worth it
it works the best for any dry or cracked skin!!!! – This is the best product I have come across for dry and cracked nipples. But since you only need a tiny bit, it's lasted me forever, and after breastfeeding has come and gone, I am still using this product for my whole family's dry lips, cracked cuticles, or anything dry or cracked! I absolutly swear by this product and my kids and I use nothing… Read more
else! The kids recently came back from a holiday in Canada whereby their lips were so cracked and swollen, I quickly applied this ointment every night and morning and in a few days they were almost healed! For 5 weeks their dad had applied a normal lip balm stick which did nothing to help them. And since this is a natural product made from Lanolin (wool fat) I knew it wouldn't be harmful to them to ingest. It's also great around fingernails that are cracking during winter. Love it!!!!!! Don't be put off by the price... it lasts forever! it's the most reliable remedy for dry nipples, lips, and cuticles! And natural, too. a bit pricey, but lasts forever, so worth it

Excellent – I used this when breastfeeding my baby - it helped with cracked nipples in the early days. Obviously it's not a miracle cure (given the problems I and most people have are caused by technique!) but it is very good and the best treatment I tried. Was recommended by midwives and lactation consultant. Worked well
Excellent product - makes breastfeeding so much more comfortable – Lansinoh was recommended to me by a few friends to use before and during breastfeeding. I am so glad that I did. I used it for a few weeks before my baby was born, and then after every feed once he arrived and I managed to avoid cracked nipples completely. Even when my nipples do get a bit sore, applying the cream puts a protective layer over the… Read more
top and stops them from becoming irritated and rubbing against my clothing.
It is safe for baby and you don't have to remove it before the next feed. It does seem a bit expensive at first, but you don't have to use much (a pinch of Lansinoh is enough for both sides) so it lasts a long time. It can also seem quite think in cooler weather but if you rub it between your fingers it will quickly warm up and you can apply it easily.
I recommend this to all my friends who are having babies. Works well, soothing, safe for baby. Seems expensive, but totally worth it.
A Life Saver – I had trouble breastfeeding my first two kids due to bleeding and sore nipples. At the time I was recommended anything but now with my third baby, a beautiful midwife recommended Lansinoh and withing 24 hours, nipples were getting better and I was able to finally breastfeed. Thank you Lansinoh. If I knew about this product in the past, I would've… Read more
been able to feed both of my kids. All natural, does not need to be removed before feeding. A bit hard to squeeze out of tube when initilly used.
Awesome – I never had any troubles breast feeding with my first 2 kids so I was full of confidence when my 3rd came along :( But then OMG!! She wasn't latching properly and within 3 days my nipples had grazes on them and bleeding slightly. Breast feeding was agony but I was determined to keep going, I didn't want to have to stop because of it. One of the… Read more
midwives then recommended Lansinoh. My saviour!! After a few days my nipples were healing and getting less sensitive. Now my 3 month old is thriving, loving her moo moo!! They should include a small sample tube in the Mother To Be Bounty bags it is just that awesome and any baby shower that I head to in the future, I will include a tube for Mum. So simple, natural and you didn't have to remove it before feeding like other nipple creams
Excellent – This is an absolute must have in my opinion. After a couple of days of breastfeeding my nipples were crecked, blistered and bleeding. I was in absolute agony at every feed and ready to give up. One night the midwife gave me this to try, and thank god she did. It didn't make everything perfect, but made it bareable enough to keep breastfeeding.… Read more
I had alot of trouble so I kept using this after each feed and shower for months! Highly recomend it to every new mum. Could not have kept breastfeeding without it! Love it! Small enough tube to fit in your handbag, no smell, makes an excellent protective barrier for sore nipples. Natural. Great lip balm too. Nothing at all.
Best healing ever – I had sore burning eyelids for over 12 months. Doctors prescriptions did not help. Desperate - I researched the internet and found in UK and USA it has been used for red, sore eyelids. Relief was instant and after 24hours redness has nearly all gone. I would recommend this for all kinds of skin allergies and soreness. An absolute life saver. Non allergenic and in expensive Show reply
Excellent – I love that you dont have to remove it before feeding like all other nipple creams i have heard of. It's natural - no nasty chemicals. My second child got oral thrush at about 1week and the medication i had to use on my nipples to stop re-infection really dried out my nipples (to the state where they would start to peel) the only thing that… Read more
worked (to stop both infection and peeling agony) was alternating the medication with Lansinoh (which I luckily still had at home from my first child).
This product saved my from at least a week of wincing in agony for the duraion of every 2hourly feed.
I love Lansinoh and will not use any other Nipple cream!! You dont have to remove it before feeding. It's thick so lasts between feeds. It works. The large tube it hard to squeeze out but then most people woud only need a small tube as it goes a long way.
Good – I was given the small tube of this in Hospital and this is all I needed. It goes a long way. With my next baby I bought a tube as I had found it effective. I like that you can put it on and not have to remove it when baby feeds. It does work as I had cracked nipples early on with breastfeeding both babies. It did help clear up the problem. I have… Read more
also used it on my lips and spots of eczema. It works well. Small tube was all I needed as it went a long way. Price was reasonable. None really but is greasy but that is the nature of the product.
Good – This is a good product a little more expensive than the others but effective. I'm, looking forward to the warmer weather when I won't have to warm it up to get it out of the tube :) Really like it. Great on sore cracked nipples, good size to throw in your bag and take with you. Can leave marks on your clothes so nipple pads are a good idea. During cold weather its hard to squeeze out of the tube.

Excellent – This cream was a god send as I was in a large amount of pain, even my t-shirt caused a great deal of pain against my sensitive nipples. I would definately recommend this cream in the early days of breast feeding as it will give you a lot of much needed releif. I found that my t-shirt just against my chest was very painful just after the birth of… Read more
my child and my sister recommended this cream. It is very soothing and really gave me a lot of relief. You don't have to remove it before breat feeding which is good.
Excellent – Really helpful product. Very soothing when you most need it. I would suggest buying it and taking it to hospital with you so you are prepared and have it handy when you need it. I had to have hubby run and get it for me when I was in tears. This is a very soothing ointment. Really helps as a barrier cream. Very protective. Very good for cracks and… Read more
bleeding. Great that you don't have to wipe it off for breastfeeding. Very thick and when it's cold weather it can be hard to squeeze out of the tube!
Expensive
Excellent – This product is a must have for all new mums. I had really sore nipples and this treatment helped a lot. Having on this on was the only way I could stand to wear a bra. I got a big tube and still have a lot less but it can be used on lips and on my eczema. No bad smell, can leave it on to feed, no bad taste ( I figure if you leave it on for… Read more
baby to feed you should taste it). Soothed my sore cracked nipples. Very thick and acted as a barrier on sore nipples none, I couldn't have survived without it.
Excellent – Very essential for any new mums starting out on breastfeeding as it really helps alleviate and soothes any nipple soreness or cracked nipples. It conditions your nipples between feeds and helps accelerate the healing process for cracked nipples. I went through the small tube over the first 3 weeks of breastfeeding, and have now purchased the big… Read more
tube for use. I highly recommend this product! Works very effectively in healing and providing comfort to sore and cracked nipples. Recommended to me by my friends who are also breastfeeding, as well as my maternal health nurse. Can be quite sticky; so even when used with breastpads, it can stick to breastpads. Some midwives in the hospital told me that there are more instances of thrush happening for people who use Lansinoh. I haven't had a problem so far, and it is more advantageous to use it than not!
Excellent – This was a good product reccomended by the midwives at the hospital. I only bought a small tube and haven't used it up. I found a little bit goes a long way. I also like to use it as a lip balm. It is very thick, doesn't taste funny and really nourishes my lips. Overall the little purple tube is an absolutely essential product for breastfeeding… Read more
mums. I'll buy a tube to give to expectant friends! This was hypoallergenic, didn't smell funny and soothed my sore nipples (although I never developed any cracks or seriously sore spots)
Excellent – Definately recommended for treating sore, cracked and dry nipples. I will definately be having on hand when we have our next baby. Buy from the chemist in the larger tube, at first I didn't think I would go through that much, but I did - and more! I used it in conjunction with Rite Aid Hydrogel disk pads which worked a treat. - worked a treat for repairing dry and cracked nipples, recommended by midwives at hospital. You can tend to go through a bit given you are constantly reapplying after each feed and I was using a fair amount of with each use.
Good – I first used this product because it was recommended by a midwife to use and while I did use it for a short period, I did not really have to use it long term. It is great to have around for when you are just starting to breastfeed as it does seem to help sooth any pains. Later on it probably is not really necessary to keep using it. You can also… Read more
use it to put on dry lips which is an added bonus. The treatment is a bit stick and greasy to use, but a good product. Good to have around when you start breastfeeding, easy to use.
Good – I would recommend this product to every new mother. I see it as a necessity when starting out breastfeeding as it helped me so much. This was recommended to me by friends and the midwives at the hospital gave me some small tubes. I went and bought a bigger tube when I ran out but the sample tubes are great for putting in your bag. helped so much when I had sore nipples when breatfeeding and you don't have to wipe it off before feeding. It can be a bit sticky and greasy but since I was using breast pads anyway at that stage it didn't matter too much.
Excellent – Purchased for use as a moisturizing lip balm based on many recommendations. Best lip balm/treatment I have used for my constantly chapped lips. If applied generously before bed and then sleep with it on, lips are hydrated, full and soft in the morning. May not be suitable for day wear under lipsticks as it occasionally leaves white residue at the… Read more
edges of mouth. In colder weather it solidifies and can be hard to get out of the tube and spread. Great lip balm, small amount goes a long way, available in small tube for convenience, odorless and tasteless. If people see you applying something labeled as nipple cream to your lips, hard to get out of the tube in colder weather, may leave white residue.
Excellent – I got a tube for my baby shower with my first child and it was a life saver, 2 more children later I am still using this product and recommend it to all pregnant mother's. It's a must have for all who wish to breastfeed. Everything it's a great product, lasts for ages and works quickly and effectively Nothing, this stuff is fantastic!
Excellent – Highly recommended if you are planning to breastfeed, you will only need the smaller size as you use the tiniest amount Brilliant cream, was recommended by the hospital nurses and I started using it after developing blood blisters and a crack when baby was only one day old. The cream worked wonders, just apply after a breast feed and it doesn't… Read more
need to be washed off prior to feeding baby. It does not hurt or sting even, and only need to use the tiniest amount. The best thing I LOVED about lansinoh was it doesn't stick to your bra or breast pads, as prior to using this the sores would stick and it was incredibly painful the get them off.
Excellent – Its a great item to have in the bathroom cabnet. Its one of those things that should be stockedd up on before your baby is born because you never know when it will come in handy. i only ever used my lansinoh on cracked nipples and nappy rash but it can be used for all sorts of things from burns to abrasions.
