Sitting having my drink, was advised to leave the table and had my ‘business phone call’ interrupted. Advised the table was reserved and I had to relocate I glance down, sight the reserved sign hidden behind number stand (it was not in plain sight and small). 5. Was relocated tables. Asked for refund as felt like this was all too difficult and unnecessary. 6. Food arrived just as I had said I wanted a refund, I felt rude not to eat the food, knowing it had already been prepared and did not want the food to be wasted. 7. The fish and chips did not taste good at all, very fishy, left on table as didn’t want to continue eating it. 8. Left to buy dinner else where, ended up deciding just to go home and cook which made for a late night

Won’t come back here again, thanks anyway. I go out to enjoy a meal and good service this experience made me feel unwelcome and I couldn’t eat the food I paid for, waste of time and money

The Reno looks great btw but the food I was served was not nice to eat, I did not enjoy it and the service was very very disappointing.

Since the change of ownership the quality of the food has declined substantially and the staff are not at all attentive. Had the Arancini balls. nothing but packet bought and highly battered with little filling. Could not eat them. The rump was tough and the mushroom sauce slimy and tasteless. Will not return. We decided to have dinner here last night at the minute - we've never been here before and the place was packed - we enjoyed the salt & pepper squid for an entree and the brioche garlic bread was fabulous- we ordered more with our mains. I had the spaghetti with chorizo, chicken & prawns with chilli - was lovely & my partner had the chicken parmy which he really enjoyed. The staff and service was fabulous! Came across this venue from having a family dinner 3 weeks prior which made us decide to book the back area for my mums celebration of life when she passed away. The food and service is A1, all our guests had nothing but positive things to say and some didn’t even know the place existed and they live in Perth. Highly recommend to everyone. Thank you for making a hard day an easy one.

Absolutely fantastic food and service – We have often said we should call into this tavern. Wow the food and service was amazing. This will definitely be our new favourite. Prices very reasonable. Thank you for a lovely night out.
