If could mark zero i would!
I tried to apply but I don't have a driver's licence or a passport like many people, so you have to fill in a special form and submit that. I almost instantly got approval for $1000, but trying to access my account was a huge battle and when I FINALLY logged on after having my email address rejected??? by trying to set up an account so then I tried logging on but if course no password, so had to do a re-set then just when I think its all set to go I get a full page summary that they can't identify me!!!!! So back on the about 3 people later I'm...
Read more told it will take 3-5 business days to sort this out. I asked why I had been approved the money if I wasn't able to access it? Some stupid answer that didn't make sense but after reading the reviews it may have something to do with me telling him I planned to pay it off with my super almost immediately. But it takes me 5 days to get that and I needed a washing machine now after a week already without one plus just coming out of hospital and unable to drive so not able to go to a laundromat but alas no help whatsoever. I have Afterpay and Openpay and never any problems and $2K limits. I will NEVER deal Latitude.Absurdly low credit limits
They limit you to $150. I don't really understand how they're going to stay competitive since the amount you're allowed to borrow isn't large enough to want to loan in the first place?

Latitudepay punishes customers who pay on time
Very easey and smooth process to sighn up to latitudepay but be where if you dont live in your emails 24/7 do not pay your latitudepay accounts out early just incase they send you a offer for a credit increase as i was paying my latitudepay acounts out early as i do and because i was paying them out early i get penilised as i was not in my email to except a credit increase offer bery unprofessional bussines practises a company like them should be rewarding there customer if they pay way before the due date not punishing them

Be careful, they do not warn you
They do not warn you when money bounces. It only happened once. And they immediately made my credit score go down. No warning, no nothing. As soon as I saw that the money had failed to come out I made a payment but too late! Do not make mistakes or forget with latitude. They will immediately make you pay, even if you immediately correct it.

Basicly only wants customers who have a chance of missing payment, for late fee
Signed up for Latitude pay to make use of the $20 off 60 Kogan deal. Paid it off instantly and the accounts gets locked. Called customer support and every time they said will unblock, but no progress. After 3rd call, they just outright said I am unable to make purchases with latitude pay forever again. Seems pretty fishy, looking at reviews all the accounts locked are those who don't need financing their purchases(instant pay back). Have to wonder if they only want to "scam" customers who are likely to pay the late fee. Sign up process was atrocious as well.

Not very compassionate or understanding during Covid times at all. Stick with Afterpay!
Good service, but unlike afterpay, when you pay late they do not take compassion for anyone going through Covid. Afterpay do not charge fees at the moment while this crisis is happening but Latitude don't seem to care at all. If you miss a few payments they will send you straight to a debt collector. I think Humm and Afterpay are the way to go
Ridiculous, don’t waste your time
I have a good credit score and always pay bills on time- never any issues. I was declined by Latitude when attempting to make a purchase @ Good Guys without any obvious cause. Very strange indeed. Now I’m expecting to see this impact negatively on my credit file.
Alright but slow as hell
I didn't have any major issues with them but they are very very slow ,takes them 4 days to update a payment on your account so you pretty much send your money to jail for 4 days until somebody over there finally gets on to it.

It's a joke trying to make an account.
I try to different names and details but just can't make an account. I read that people using this service mention about credit money. After my understanding I will have to transfer money from my bank to LatitudePay and use those funds to make payments. So in other hand I'm using MY OWN money not LatitudePay's money. So why wouldn't LatitudePay let me create an account.
What a joke LatitudePay is.

I wish there was a zero star option
The worse financial institution I've ever worked with.
1- When you open an account, they suck the money from your credit account for so many reasons, billing, statements, ...
2- If you miss a due date for any reason (I assume it happens sometimes) they will immediately report you to the credit companies, even if you have paid the bill. Example, I paid the bill with almost 2 weeks delay. It happened as I thought my wife paid the bill but she didn't. I received a notification from latitude that I missed a payment and should pay my bill ASAP. I pa...

Dishonest and non-transparent business - a clear case of Internet scam
Unfortunately, from my experience, the way LatitudePay brand works is against ethics and Australian Computer Society, in particular, transparency and honesty with clients.
The services and eligibility conditions that LatitudePay argues, according to its official website, are not consistent with its deal in practice. Whilst, in its official website and other associated pages to LatitudePay, mention to pay only 10% of total purchase upfront for an item, it charges more than that in advance- in my case 80% upfront for each item. When I queried ab...

these guys are fishing for people who cannot pay their credit. ipmmoral and illegal! i earn a high end salary with a permanent job and a crystal clear credit history. during my application process online they gave me a max 2k credit limit which is well below what i expected. to confirm they are fishing i asked my partner to apply to see what she can get. she has a part time job, she makes around quarter of my earning and no credit history. and guess what? she was offered $2800. clearly fishing for vulnerable borrowers
Terrible verification process
Tried to verify my identity with a valid passport and they locked me out after 2 tries when it didn't work for some reason. Apparently the address you put in needed to match the one on your passport, except - Australian passports don't have your address on them. Redirected me to a manual verification section of their website which asked for the same info but now needed a photo of your identity document. The website said that the manual verification process could take up to 5 business days but when I completed the process, an email was sent to m...
Read moree which said that they had a high volume of requests and the response time was at 8 days. I only wanted to use Latitude because Catch was having a promo where if you used it, you could get $20 of your purchase but the promo was only for 48 hrs. Essentially, they would have finally verified my identity 6 days after the promo ended. Also when you make your account, it doesn't require you to set a password, so if you want to log in again, you have to select forgot password for a password that never existed in the first place. The whole process is just awfully designed and completely unintuitive. Would not recommend.Find out how LatitudePay compares to other Buy Now, Pay Later Services

So suited to a family budget
We are a family of 5 so large amounts of money spent one hit can be hard to budget for. Usually meaning you miss out on bargain sale items at stores

Dont bother if you dont want to waste time and risk a bad credit enquiry on your credit file.
In my opinion, I think they are fishing for customers that cannot afford to pay outright and get them into a debt trap at 25% interest, plus an annual fee which is paid upon approval. My business wouldn't pay off for them.
These are the facts. I Applied for a $2k card because good guys were doing a deal if you sign up. I have "very good" credit, according to Equifax, very little credit card debt and real estate that is owned outright. I can EASILY afford this. Application declined with enquiry on my credit file. Refused to explain why. I tur...
Read morened around and paid for the product outright. It was only AFTER the application was declined that a supervisor bothered to clarify my financial position, which was full of errors. Once it was apparent that there were mistakes, they basically said they can choose who they do business with.Tania WalmsleySouth East Queensland, QLD

So easy.
LatitudePay was simple to start and use and is a great way to pay for goods while keeping to a budget - you can plan your costs easily and the payments are very manageable..

If I give my VISA credit card as the repayment method, will it charge as a cash advance or a credit charge? the first one would have interest applied straight up so I'm checking.
