Purchased a 2022, ex-dealership fleet vehicle with 'manufacturer protection plan' in place until 2033. we have been waiting on 'tech case' update where there has been several electrical faults including the screens going out while driving, inability to use 'engine off' to turn the engine off, and issues with wipers going when turned off (and not running when actually needed!) also have weird dents showing up near hinges and rust showing up in odd spots....trying to contact the local dealer (regional north Victoria) has rendered substandard support and LDV Australia/Ateco have not responded to contact attempts. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Go for the OTHER people mover! You defintiely get what you pay for people!

Purchased a 2022 LDV D90 from dealer , Had engine light come on and when sent to dealer (in South Australia) they checked car and refused to honour warranty even though it has full log book servicing and is under 40,000 km . I was forced to pay to take car home , Car broke down on way home and LDV would not honour so i took to Ultratune who fixed it but advised the part that needs to be replace. I escalated to LDV who arranged a tow with promise of fixing but dealer then advised they replaced part but wont honour warranty , again forced to pay $1000 to release. Failed part was fuel filter housing. Have never has such poor service from any of the other brands i have owned and will never purchase LDV again

Poor Ethics and Lack of Communication - WARNING! I signed a contract with LDV Nunawading for a van at an agreed price. A few days before pickup, they told me they made a pricing mistake and refused to release the vehicle unless I paid an extra $1,500 despite the signed contract. It felt like the van was held hostage. They wanted me to cancel contract because they couldn't get out of it but wouldn't release the van unless I paid for it.

Under pressure, I paid the extra amount, and the funds were transferred over a week ago, yet no one can now give me a straight answer on delivery or timing. I've called multiple times and still have no clear update. The communication and customer service have been incredibly poor since the payment was made.

Would strongly recommend others proceed with caution and make sure everything is in writing and even then, don’t assume they’ll stick to it.

Will be taking it to consumer affairs and vcat after possession of the van.

LDV dealers the biggest mafia With different branches and 1 boss and the underling don’t know their boss name lol – LDV, dealers it's like a big mafia the finance company they shouldn call it Lon shark. When you buy vehicle from LDV five dock make sure you get an independent mechanic to go over it even if it’s brand-new they sell your car. You have a problem with it they will ignore and when you go back a couple of months later you’ll end up getting ripped off. I paid $45k for my car when I went back they offered me 30K even though I paid of my loan 5000 with all of that the finance $141 750 LDV five dock deale a bunch of thugs. Don’t trust them . when I asked to speak to the head of LDV Australia I couldn’t even tell me his name and make you think you’re really dealing with mafia but they don’t call themselves that they call himself businessman.
