I would warn potential clients of LECA for Solar & Battery Installations - BEWARE !!! First Quote issued without a Roof Top inspection. I Rejected it due to an incorrect Inverter Configuration. Had I accepted it I would have ended up with a MOST inefficient System.

Revised Quotation 2. issued - Rejected again because they proposed both Portrait and Landscape Panel mountings.

Revised Quotation 3. issued - less Panels, I Accepted & Paid a 40% Deposit of $5080. I removed an On Demand Gas Hot Water Heater as per their request. Now no Hot Water for our Upstairs Living area.

Months passed and Works did not Start.

After 3 Months a Roof Inspection was finally done. LECA discovered not enough Roof space for Quotation 3.

Revised Quotation 4. issued - less Panels resulted in a smaller Battery capability.

Another month passed - still no Job Start. LECA then advised cannot Supply original Panels - On Back Order.

With multiple Quotation revisions and no Job Start - after 5 months I CANCELLED the JOB.

LECA refused to re-install the Gas Water Hot Heater. There has been no Hot Water for our Upstairs Living area for 5 months. I had to pay for this re Installation.

LECA have refused to refund my Deposit (with Bank Interest) which they have held for 6 months. TOTALLY incompetent !!!!

BEWARE !!!

I chose LECA Solar to install solar panels a couple of months ago as they appeared to be recommended. https://lecaustralia.com.au/ From the first few weeks the inverter has not been connected to the WiFi and I am getting weekly requests from my power company yo resolve this as the solar panels must be connected to the WiFi. I have made countless calls to my power provider, to the installer and to LECA and been told a number of times that they 'would call back'.

I informed them weeks ago that this is now urgent.Last week I was told that 'someone would come out and resolve the issue next week' (this week). Nothing.

NO COMMUNICATION.

I have purchased a WiFi booster and still it does not work...I have gone through all of the troubleshooting procedures as advised by Suraya at LECA (sorry if this name is misspelled) weeks ago. It did not work. I have called and called Parth Shah from LECA who installed it ( a very pleasant man) and he promised me that LECA would get onto this weeks ago.

They have not. NO COMMUNICATION. I have had my son who is very tech savvy look at it, he does not know why it is not working.

Today I was assured that a representative, [Name Removed], would call me when she returned from lunch....nothing. NO COMMUNICATION I waited and waited. I called them and she said that someone was booked in to come next week (we had not been informed of. this). We need it seen to this week. I do not know what to do, I think the Ombudsman is the next step.

I will contact the Victorian Energy and Water Ombudsman tomorrow if this is not resolved.

I have been told that LECA will ring back tomorrow but having been told that story countless times over the past two months I am not feeling confident.
